"Ganjou wake up..."Opening his eyes Ganjou was almost instantly blinded by the great sunshine beaming in his face. Slowly picking his head up from the pillow, he looked around. "Who woke me...?"

[/color] He asked with a raspy voice not knowing why someone would wake him up in the middle of the night like this. "I did!"[/color] A stern voice at the base of the bed said. Rolling over on his back, he looked over in that direction. "What do you need mom?"[/color] He asked wanting to get back to sleep for he had a pretty important event planed in the next few hours. Placing both her hand on her hips, she looked down at her lazy son who closed his eyes as he spoke. "I need you to go out with your father and take care of the babies."[/color] She said keeping the stern tone in her voice. Ganjou said nothing, he knew arguing with this women wasn't going to get him anywhere.

"Alright, Alright..."[/color] He said with a raspy voice barely even awake. As he dragged his half awoke body out of the bed, he made his way over to his dresser and pulled out a pair of shorts and a solid white Tee-shirt. Putting both the items on, Ganjou slowly walked past the mirror. Out the corner of his eye he could see himself with a bad case of bed-head. Shaking his head frantically from left to right, his hair would still look bad, but not as bad. Taking slow and heavy steps down the steps, Ganjou's mother was right behind him and on his heels. The whole time she was one step behind him, her breathing blowing the hair on the back of his head. She started to become frustrated over the laziness of the young boy so she yelled. "YOU BETTER GET DOWN THERE AND HELP YOUR FATHER!"[/color] The sudden shout caught him off guard, causing him to trip and fall down the remaining stairs.

With his back against the wall, he looked at his mother who still came walking down like nothing happened. "Why'd you yell for!?"[/color] He asked rubbing the back of his head as it bounced off each individual step. His mother said nothing, she simply walked past him with a smile on her face. Ganjou stood up and finally made his way over to the door. He didn't want to admit it but, the shout woke him up and he was no longer sleepy. Twisting the door knob one good time to his right Ganjou opened the door and he quickly find himself outside walking behind the house with his hands in both short pockets. Kicking a stone as he walked, Ganjou never liked taking care of the babies, for he didn't really like dogs. "This is gonna suck..."[/color] He said to himself kicking the stone hard into a nearby bush as he reached the dogs house.

All Inuzuka valued the life of their dogs. So they treated them like family. The dog house would be the size of Ganjou's house, but with no upper level floor just plenty of room for the canines to run around in. As Ganjou opened the door, he was quickly rushed with five baby wolf pups licking all over his face and biting him with playful bites. "GET OFF ME!"[/color] He yelled attempting to fight back but it was no use, the pups had him pined down. With a loud whistle, the pups quickly got off Ganjou and ran over to his father who was taking care of the other ones. "Come over here son."[/color] He called out looking at Ganjou out the corner of his eye. Releasing a sigh of frustration, he slowly made his way over to his fathers location. Once there, he noticed his father taking great care of the pups. Ganjou had no feelings for these dogs, and they all knew that. "I'm The only Inuzuka in history that doesn't like canines..."[/color] Ganjou thought to himself looking at the pups with utter disgust, but with good reason.[/blockquote]

"Mom sent me out here to help with the pups..."

[/color] He said with a disgusted and angry tone of voice. "I see. Why don't you go get me a bucket of water then?"[/color] His father said handling one of the baby canines with a soft and loving touch. The site of the wolfs around Ganjou made him feel uneasy, his whole body tightened while he became jumpy. Over to his right rested a grey bucket, bending over to pick up the pale. One of the pups came over and pushed Ganjou over with a full powered headbutt. Falling face first into the carpet, he had no more to try and catch himself. "CRAP!"[/color] He thought to himself as the red carpet over took his whole field of vision. His forehead hit the ground with great force causing him to become dizzy. "Stupid wolf!"[/color] He yelled holding his head with his right arm as he quickly picked up the bucket, and made his way to the watering hole outside.

Dipping the pale into the water, Ganjou was still upset about knocking his head up against the ground. "This is why I hate coming out here. Those stupid pups play around to much!"[/color] He yelled with a hot fury dropping the bucket in the water. He quickly reached for it before it floated away with the current, but now he had to refill it. "Ganjou, why do you still hate dogs so much?"[/color] His father asked taking a seat right next to him. Beside his father rested a bed of smooth rocks perfect for skipping over the surface of the bed. Picking up one of the stones, his father swiftly skipped it over the water. Ganjou looked over at his dad, then back at the bucket of water with a sad look upon his face. "You know why pop, don't ask me that question..."[/color] He muttered slowly pulling the bucket out and placing it right beside him.

His father could hear the sadness in his voice. "I didn't mean to upset you son. But that happened so long ago, you should really let it go."[/color] Ganjou's father said placing a hand on Ganjou's shoulder. Looking over at his dad, Ganjou jerked his shoulder away and the sadness quickly turned to angry. "You just can't get over something like that! That will forever haunt me!"[/color] He yelled. But once he jerked his shoulder away, his elbow hit the bucket of water knocking it back into the watering-hole once again. "crap!"[/color] He said before pulling it before it even had a chance to float away with the rapid current. "I'm not asking you to forgot son. I'm asking you to let it go. Can't you do that?"[/color] Now with a concerned tone of voice.

This entire conversation was really starting to make Ganjou angry, he didn't want to talk about the event. "I'm leaving. You can handle the rest yourself pop."[/color] He said standing up and placing the pale full of water next to his father. Before he started walking away, Ganjou said one last thing. "I'll never trust another canine again. If I ever met that silver wolf again, I'll kill it with my own bare hands...!"[/color] Ganjou yelled with a powerful and determined tone of voice. His father couldn't say anything, for he knew nothing could stop this burning will inside his son. "I wont stop you. Just know tomorrow is your 13TH birthday. That is also the day all Inuzukua's get a canine to call their own."[/color] His father said to Ganjou as he walked away. Ganjou simply looked back with a annoyed look upon his face. "Don't count of me being there alright."[/color] And with that being said, he slipped off onto the main road to begin his last day as a child.[/blockquote]

Walking down the dusty road, Ganjou thought more and more about what he planed on doing tomorrow. "I'm not touching a single one of those stupid pups!" He mumbled to himself punching his fist together. Over to his right, he noticed horses grazing off the grass. Watching their huge mouths open and closer reminded him of that day. The image of the silver wolfs blood covered fangs going down for another bloody bite of the torn human flesh. His heart beat rapidly picked up as his mouth became extremely dry. Stopping in his tracks, the dust rose around him as he clinched his fist tightly. "Never again will I trust another canine!"

[/color] He yelled jerking his head upward to the sky and instantly collapsing to her knees as if all the strength left his body as the image of the silver wolf sapped it all out of him.

After a few minutes of panting, Ganjou stood up as if nothing happened. Taking a single step forward, he noticed the bushes to his left rustling. Turning his vision to the brush he waited for whatever it was to pop out. "I'm not in the mood to be fucked with!"[/color] He said walking over to the bush. He threw his hand right in the middle of the bush and the source of all the rustling. Once Ganjou's hand touched apart of whatever it was, he quickly applied his grip and pulled it out of the brush. A girl with flowing black hair and in a type of black outfit came flying out of the undercover with Ganjou's hand wrapped around her arm. "Ouch! Let me go Ganjou!" She shouted with a angry tone of voice jerking her arm out of the powerful grip of Ganjou. A annoyed look ran across his face "Karin you idiot! Why would you try to sneak up on me!?"[/color] Karin was a year older then Ganjou but the two have been close friends for awhile now.

The girl flipped her right hand under her hair. The flowing brown strands danced in the wind as she gained control over her angry. "Because I wanted to. You looked like you were doing something anyways, I didn't want to interrupt that."[/color] She said placing her right hand on her hip as she looked at Ganjou with big brown eyes. Shaking his head, he tossed both his arms behind his head and let out a monstrous yawn. "It was nothing, just didn't get enough rest last night."[/color] This was obvious a lie from the twisted look upon his face, but Karin said nothing about the subject. Her eyes instantly began glowing as she remembered something. "I almost forgot!"[/color] She said with a very excited tone, pulling out a small gift and handing it over to Ganjou. "Open it!"[/color] She said giddy with excitement.

Ganjou reached forward for the small gift, upon having it in his hand. He could instantly tell it was something small, like a necklace or bracelet. Looking deep within the girls eyes, Ganjou couldn't say no to something that made her smile this much. "Alright, I'll open it."[/color][/b] He said pulling off the little ribbon, and unfolded all the corners. Putting his hand out, he let the small box slide out the exposed side of the paper. Looking up at Karin one last time, she had her eyes locked on the box, Ganjou really felt like whatever was in this box he would enjoy. Slowly raising the cover, Ganjou's excitement instantly left his body. "A dog-collar..."[/color] He said looking up at the girl with shaking arms . The excitement left her body as well seeing Ganjou react to her kind gesture. "Yeah, I know tomorrow you get a dog. So I thought this would be something you could use to remember the good times you had as a child."[/color] She said looking deep into Ganjou's soul less eyes.[/blockquote]
