He had been commissioned to, or rather it would be more accurate to say that he had picked from a list of missions meant for iwa nin and then applied, to retrieve a shipment of blank scrolls. The blank scrolls were he assumed quite a versatile and in a sense valuable commodity, with simple parchment one could use fuinjutsu to enable an effect that could match any situation. He had seen with but a small trickle of chakra and a writing tool the ability to block explosions, fire, knives, any tool of harm that would normally obliterate the paper in such an easy an effortless way was shattered or stopped in its tracks just by modifying the paper a bit.

He had even heard of certain ninja, though he knew of none of their kind in iwa, ninja who could with a flick of their wrists paint a series of intricate images with a special thick black ink. The ink was by itself only slightly special as it graced the parchment rather majestically, but with the application of yet another dose of chakra and a few handseals that constituted what he could only consider hijutsu the images would defy all laws of nature and come to life to do the user’s bidding, as if by magic even though he knew chakra was far from magic.

He envied these two types of techniques, he had been gifted with a different sort of chakra. One that was not meant for destruction or even creation, he had received the prowess in making others see illusions and feel things, he could assault the mind of others in such a way that it would addle their ability to function, a mental maiming. But even this he slightly found distasteful, he wanted something that he could see, something more beautiful… Or perhaps he would get used to what he could do, he had other talents as well after all.

Mission Subject: A batch of blank scrolls has arrived by shipment to the outer edge of Iwagakure, just outside the gates. The shop owner is sick and cannot receive the shipment, therefore, you must go and pick it up for them and bring it to the shop.
Special Requests: This is to be done solo, there is no need for teams for this mission, just to bring back a bunch of scrolls. If you decide to take even one of the scrolls, you will be declared a criminal and tried as such. I cannot tolerate stealing in my village.

He sought, in this rather mundane journey to occupy his time in some sort of productive way, at the very least until he reached the point just barely at the edges of iwagakure no sato where the delivery of scrolls awaited him. His mental thought he considered whimsical and entertaining slightly as he tried to picture all the uses of the scrolls, but he felt the need to do something a bit more. He checked his side satchel and fumbled through it thinking of what he could toy with for the moment, finding only a few weapons which he had never seen used yet since he did not make it a goal to start fights, nor was he adept enough at taijutsu to require practice in it.

He filled the next few seconds with a pair of slow handseals, he wasn’t neccesarily in any rush at all, quite the contrary he was actually trying to spend some free time if he could. He then opened his mouth and spat out a series of golden blobs which then formed into shiny golden shuriken in his hands which adeptly molded them into their final shape. Ten durable shurikens were now his durable tools to do with as he pleased, they seemed of better quality then those shuriken that he had, they felt lighter yet they seemed just as harder… perhaps even a bit harder. He would have to test how the golden fluid he made stood up to manufactured iron.

He stored them in his pouch for later use, he had no doubt they would come in handy considering that he was going to face combat probably sooner rather than later. He couldn’t stay sedentary all his life after all, at least if he wanted to become a higher ranked ninja. He saw the scroll box in the near distance, it wasn’t too large but he imagined it was cumbersomely packed with scrolls, something that he wasn’t really looking forward to.

He withdrew his hands from his weapon pouch and shook them, a bit or two of sticky spider gold on his fingers. He picked it off easily from his skin, a feat much easier for him than say for another person who was not of his clan. The web was quite adhesive but once it hardened he believed anyone could touch it, it was exactly like glue as in the liquid form it was very sticky and would attach to anything it touched and in the solid form it was durable and no longer sticky. His webbing was however superior in that it could be malleable if he needed it and was faster acting; it was so very viable for combat.

The box he came upon was a rather formidable opponent, a very steep plateau that he would have to surpass before he could receive bioth his money and his credit for completeing a mission. It seemed a rather… hard trial to move such a cumbersome container by his own self without risking injury. He then formed an idea which led to him forming yet more jutsu seals with his hands, a bit of a blur in their formation but a short formation nonetheless. His gullet expanded as he lurched forward as if he were to enter into a hyperextended lunge but stopping halfway. A sticky golden strand launched from his mouth and smacked loudly against the crate, the web quickly hardening a few drips frozen mid air and hanging like spiders from a spider web from the original strand. He hoisted this makeshift rope over his back and tugged with great effort, he resented making many trips at once so carrying each scroll was not something he felt he would be able to do.

Dragging the box drew a bit of small attention as one did not typically see someone with a golden rope dragging a box full of paper like a cooley. It would be a herculean task to carry this the whole way but he just closed his eyes and trudged toward the tsuchikage’s office. Jurei exits thread.
