Stage One The Written Exam
The first stage of the chuunin’s is the written exam which includes very difficult questions for the genin to answer. These questions are delved from hostile situations that chuunin may find themselves in such as choosing to save a friend before completing the mission – or killing a teammate if he or she becomes an obstacle. Overall this test shows the information gathering techniques and decision making abilities used by the genin because in order to pass the written exam one must be able to cheat efficiently without being caught by the various proctors standing about the room. These proctors place themselves at specific angles so that cheating is a possible solution but only with the use of the shinobi’s wit.
One cannot simply look over ones shoulder and attempt to cheat. However, there will be intelligent shinobi who do not require the use of cheating as a resource. All members of a squad must pass this exam in order to move onto the next round. Members will be scored according to how many questions they answer. Those who effectively cheat off of their tests will receive bonus points for the round – and those who successfully pass on answers to their teammates will also receive bonus points. As a note – there will be three proctors for each classroom (9 in total) who check continuously for cheating. There are certain rules these proctors go by in order to see if someone is cheating – these rules are unknown to the upcoming chuunin.
Please wait to be called in the conference room to be assigned a classroom. Only after posting within the conference room will one be able to continue onto a classroom.
