The day seemed horrendously off. He wasn't entirely sure of what he lost, but it was not left in the village of Iwagakure. The disappearance of Yoko was a strange event as well. No one would have ever known Kei was out of the loop as much as he spent time around the time, on various missions. His disappearance was longer than he had hoped, and the sort of news that had the village in a slump would not have reached the ears of the young Genin while he isolated himself.
Even the smell in the air was different. His nostrils offended by the sense that was trigger by an almost foreign sense. A perception, perhaps. He disregarded it as any feeling he wished not to look to. Except for this one instance, it wouldn't wait. He traveled some ways away from the population, to a secluded area west. The large construct that made up the village had water pouring down it at an intense rate, almost like a water fall. Where it fell to would be to no one's knowledge. Possible to be more jagged rocks.
His hands were placed into his pockets. His eyes gazing out into the hazy sky that was above. It was a cloudy day on top of all the madness that seemed to be rampaging in the Iwa shinobi's mind, unsure of the news that will rattle it.
Kei waited here, away from everyone and everything, except for one. He left a message for his companion, Sen, with specific instructions to meet him at the location he had picked up. Normally not one for schedules, he arranged one to learn exactly why everything seems still so far off. He had figured he left to help him advance in the path toward his goal. He somehow felt it unrewarding.
