Kei took his first steps into the Tsuchikage's office after the passing of their previous kage. It was a major blow to his heart o be accepting missions from the same boring crowd as the rest of the village. That was as opposed to Yoko, who seemed to make taking missions and bringing them in a little bit more fun than just the crew the new Tsuchikage had. It started to become a reoccuring event as well, as now even Sen hasn't done anything with him for some time now. He watched slowly as the few friends that he had slowly slipped into their own space and time. "Argh." He sighed heavily as he walked through the golden halls of the tower Slade was now home to. He was still unconvinced if the content of his speech given at his inauguration was viable and able to be kept.
The future swept through the young boy's mind, which was something new for him as he walked down the stairs that would lead to the door way of the tower. Everything was changing far too rapidly for him, but he couldn't complain. Least to no one but himself. Even then, he had no one to complain to. The Tsuchikage would just brush him off, as done before by everyone. Sen seemed too busy to even chat. Stopping in his tracks he realized his left hand was up and the index and middle finger was extended.
"Two huh?" Two friends, in the whole wide world, and one just up and disappeared. Coming to this realization the sun would come through the opening of the large doors. His surrounding just instantly changed. He wasn't even aware he made it fully to the bottom of the stairs for his mission. Then it clicked like a switch. The mission he took up was only a few feet away. He was practically at the entrance of the tower. His eyes scanned the area. And there he was...
