Kumojin entered the village and went down town. His starting place was to be the spot where the incident occured. Kumojin wasn't the smartest person in the village, but tracking things down wasn't to complicated. This painting wasn't small either. It wa a full sized painting of the council member Hugo. It wasn't easy to break into the mansion in the first place, but to get through all the traps like they were in the mission required brute force that most ninja weren't capable of. The door was smashed in, the locks broken, and the window shattered. Someone wanted in and they didn't want to be gentle about it. But the strangest part wasn't that they got in, but that all they took was the painting and a few miscellanious things. Nothing major was taken except the painting.
Kumojin got to the mansion at about noon. The light was still out and Kumojin saw the full extent of the damage. The door was kicked in and the top of the door frame was bent up, as if some gigantic beast didn't know how to use the door knob. The floor had large dents in it, in the shape of feet, but the size was so large it was nearly impossible. The entire place was utterly destroyed. This wasnt much of a mission of finding who the target was. It was a mission to find WHAT the target was. Kumojin went through the mansion and couldn't find anything of real notice except the obvious massive footprints and damage. He did notice one thing extremely odd. There were no footprints near the painting, as if someone else had come in and stole it.
