Special Requests: This is to be done solo. Notes: None Kira had been quite happy in taking this particular mission. He was to supervise a bunch of Genin in their punishment. Their crimes varied, mainly small ones, rowdiness, disobedience, swearing and fighting each other. Kira looked at the crowd before him, mainly males, a few females but girls obviously did mature faster, for the most part. Kira shook his head as he surveyed them, they knew who he was and for the most feared him, he also sensed jealousy. "Right you lot, start cleaning" They had all been given cleaning tools, mops, brooms and such, they were going to be cleaning streets and paths in the residential area, to show them and the village discipline was fair and enforced. Also reports had conveyed that villagers enjoyed seeing the Kage doing missions and involving himself on a more personal level. Of course the lower downs of society would enjoy this, it made them feel more connected to their leader, the nobility however scoffed at his actions, behind his back of course. The Genin slowly began to move to their designated points, they moved faster after Kira barked at them to move faster, he enjoyed the power he had over them, it was refreshing. He knew immediately now what people meant when they said power could corrupt. He sat on a nearby bench, his keen crimson orbs studying the Genin as they worked. He recognized a few but for the most part the faces were new. Kira noted many angry and sulky glances in his direction, it was hard for them no doubt, to take commands from someone their age. He returned any looks with a frighteningly cold glare, these fools would never understand his potential. One by one the Genin completed their points, those that did found shade and slumped to the ground for respite. Kira allowed this, there was much more work to be done yet. Within a short while after the first Genin had finished so had the last, the paths were perfectly clear and clean. A good job, of course if they had done any less they would have had to do it all over again. Standing up and clapping his hands Kira ushere the Genin before him. "Good job, now on to the final place" Mumbles of dissent and groans arose from the small crowd of Genin but were snuffed out in seconds by an intense glare from their Kage. He would not suffer such petty behavior. Leading the Genin on a somber march through Iwa they would in ample time make their way to the memorial ground. a large area surrounded by six large earthen pillars, in the center was a giant rectangular pillar, the insignia of Iwa in the center, around it in small writing were thousands of names, and there was space enough left. Kira gestured for the Genin to study the central pillar. He knew for a fact each Genin would have family on their somewhere, great grandfathers, or grandmothers, friends of family and even legendary Iwa nin that had passed from this world to the next. Kira studied the Genin as they studied the memorial, some held back tears others let them flow freely, a few contained dark vengeful looks. One thing was clear, all would not complain about restoring the memorial to it's former glory, and Iwa's long forgotten dead would finally be remembered. Kira made his way out of the memorial confident that the Genin would work hard in restoring part of their heritage. He would return shortly, he hoped his faith had not been misplaced. Two hours later Kira returned and his eyes widened, the memorial seemed to shine in the evening sun, it was flawlessly clean, all of the leaves, the dirt and dust had vanished. It appeared one or two of the Genin had also re carved over the names to make them stand out more. The Genin themselves were arranged in front of the memorial, some stood and some sat. Coughing to catch their attention Kira gave a small smile. "Well done guys, c'mon time to go home" All of them made their way back, a new light in their hearts, new resolve in themselves, they would grow from this and become stronger, they would carry the spirit of their elders with them now, it would give them extra strength when they needed it.
