Again, again he was the servant of the textile industry and they were none the wiser, he had gotten to incorporate this mission simply as part of an exercise regiment. It had his light cardio workout which consisted of the long walk that was on a semi leisurely yet still exercise worthy pace, brisk in a short word.

The walk which he was on was now on a road that he was familiar with, he was slowly learning every curve and bend that it held to its own. It seemed that he was actually on these streets, or really on this particular course to the paper rendezvous more than perhaps he was actually in his own house.

he could no doubt at this point probably use the “well I know these streets like the back of my hands, yep you got it all six backs of my hands” The six part of course being neither here nor there, and to top it off it would probably make the conversation a bit awkward, or if he got lucky perhaps humerous, which was always a good change of pace. He sighed rather dramatically and scratched the back of his head and flushed his current train of though into the garbage pale of casual and meaningless thoughts. He ought to pay attention before the ground met his face in some sort of unfortunate fall.

Mission Subject: A batch of blank scrolls has arrived by shipment to the outer edge of Iwagakure, just outside the gates. The shop owner is sick and cannot receive the shipment, therefore, you must go and pick it up for them and bring it to the shop.
Special Requests: This is to be done solo, there is no need for teams for this mission, just to bring back a bunch of scrolls. If you decide to take even one of the scrolls, you will be declared a criminal and tried as such. I cannot tolerate stealing in my village.

He yawned, as was customary for him this time around. This mission would make the third of his recent mission binge. He was hoping honestly that it would be the last of this tiring series, he had moved so many damn scrolls for iwagakure that he could probably turn in a workman’s compensation form for excessive paper cuts. But, if they had to pay him to do it well then it was probably something that was at the very least unpleasant, after all one doesn’t simply just give out money for a job they would be willing to do themselves.

Genin, he was so happy when he got the title, and now it was in honest opinion just a tad worse than being an academy student. Sure he hated taking notes, and tests he really didn’t feel like he needed to prove himself on the theory of kunai elevation, but at the very least he wasn’t doing the tasks that a slave would do; manual labor in the form of carrying something from one side of the village to the other side of the village in a quiet and boring fashion. But, as all his opinions did when they were negative about this job, they returned back to the perk of him getting paid.

The street bended as he took the decision to mix things up with an alternate route… How ridiculously bored was he that he though moving in a different direction was “mixing it up” if he didn’t stop all these paper routes then he would become about as entertaining and personality filled as the very scrolls he would be carrying! He rubbed his face, trying to get some color going and to keep himself awake in this boring ordeal.

The box again was ahead of him; oh this was indeed his paper foe. This crate was about as menacing to him as a shikigami with a penchant to kill, he stared down the paper before he even got to it. It was irrational what he was doing, he was projecting hate towards paper and not just any paper, paper scrolls that were probably one day going to end up in his hands to perform some task, and then they would give him a paper cut or tear or smudge when he put ink on them because of their ill relationship.

He placed his hand on the box and peered in to see a myriad of scrolls, he would have to pull the box to the delivery point, like the first time he had completed the mission. It was safe to say that this would be far, far from fun. But, he would have to do it, like the grown ups said a man has to do what a man has to do. He spat out a thread of sticky thread and had it collide with the box, splashing slightly before hardening into a thick rope that he hoisted over his shoulder.

He slowly tugged the crate to the delivery point, and after he reached that spot he would make his way to the tsuchikage’s tower and then after that he would find his way home and retire, retire to his bed and sleep the stress of a long day away. He earned some sort of break for working so damn long.
