Only one day has passed since Denkou had his belt in the Arena. His first real Challenge as a Shinobi. All other missions before that had been something simple minded and degrading to his own ability. None the less, he took them with his stride and easily accomplished them. Still he was only up to ‘D’ Rank missions and today was no different, except it posed more of a threat than the last one did.
Today was the challenge of clearing out several Packs of wolves have been lurking and attacking all those who come close to the Village. It was simple, cleave up the Canine beast and make it safe for travellers once more. Simple in words, it would prove more difficult as he is one and they are many. Still he had his plan in mind.
As the young Shinobi came close to the gates of the village he stopped dead in his tracks, crouching down and revealing the items that he held on him.
He had his two prized Daggers, still razor sharp just like the day when his father gave them two him. Five Shuriken holding adequately on his waist, ready to unleash their furry at any given moment of choice. Senbon, the deadly needles of the knight tucked away in his pouch, while his Giant Shuriken lay hidden on his back. A slice of raw meat concealed in a thin cardboard container to hide its smell. It was the prime item he was going to use plan. Accounting for all items on him, he began to head off out through the gates, heading toward the wilderness that surrounded the Village. The terrain was tough, but he was far tougher.
As he exited from the main village, his eyes glance over the surroundings. There were hills, rocks, mountains and trees. Each area possible held the position of the wolves. I think ill head to the woodlands first. He thought as he began to move in the desired location. It was not a glorious forest before him, but a large wooded area that covered the side of some of the mountainous areas.
