Wow, he was some kind of genius wasn't he? Of course I didn't say my name, that was the whole point. If he knew my name the chances of me getting out of this predicament would lower considerably; afterall, ever since departing Sunagakure the bounty on my head had increased almost exponentially. It would be foolish - exceptionally foolish, that is - to tell him who I was when I was still unable to defend myself. As such, I didn't offer him anything other than another scoff as his foot met my throat, my expression still as remote and unnerved as it always was. It was easy to do so too, even as the female - the bitch, essentially - yelled in response to my words.

"If you can find a way to shut her up in the process, by all means." I was being sarcastic, again; however, with him rolling me onto my side I would look up at her. She was not what I expected to see, honestly. Blonde hair, tall stature, bossy attitude ... she looked more like a prostitute of every man's dream than anything. I wasn't one to judge others based purely off their appearance, but her bossy persona and her looks did not mesh together well. Not only that, but she was a woman - who did she think she was speaking to like that? Even with everything stacking against her, she was still - or so she said - a medical shinobi; I couldn't let such a opportunity pass itself.

"Medical legend, you say?" I spoke suddenly, my voice quite different than it had been earlier. Unlike then, now I was considerably serious - quite like I had a split personality, you see. "If you're as good as you are beautiful, how about you heal me for a fee?" I wasn't actually attracted her, per se, but by the sheer way she held herself and spoke, it wasn't that far of an assumption that many man did. I would have to indulge her ego, even if it meant lying my way through it. "One hundred thousand can be yours if you do this here and now."

The offer was far too great to pass up, but would she take it? I didn't even wait for her answer, instead furthering my words as if I knew that she would.

"Quickly, I can already feel the location of the money slipping from my mind."

He was a nuisance and the value of life and death simply didn't register to him. I could care less about anything I could gain if he was some sort of missing ninja. For I didn't catch him in the act of anything inexplicably wrong, so there was no reason to waste energy and time to turn him in for ryo. "Did you just scoff?" I questioned rhetorically. I had saved this mans life and all he had to do was answer a simple question. It was downright disrespectful to say the least. But the consequences of his actions would come later.

I could hear him speak about how I should assault the individual. A joke question with a joke response, nothing more. She really needed to shut the fuck up though. Didn't she know she was a woman? What the fuck was she doing out of the kitchen anyway. Such stereotypes easily surfaced in my mind with the attitude of the woman before me. "No she didn't say that. She said medical ledgend. Or whatever the fuck that is." I had no clue what a "ledgend" was but I assumed she meant "legend". Had the heat of the oven really affected her speech so harshly?

Yet at the mention of money that he had on hand, my eyebrows perked. I still needed to save a considerable sum for Areru's surgery and this was a grand opportunity. "If you're a medic, then you're obliged to help those under conditions such as he." The statement would be said before feeling him once more to attain the pouch of coinage he had. It was a hefty amount but no where near exactly what I needed, but it would make do for now. "If you heal this guy, you have my word that I won't harm you." I muttered looking at the coinage briefly before attaching it to my hip. "You want to get healed right Mr. Scoffer?"

I'd then pull out a metal kunai before throwing it directly at his neck, knowing such an object would pierce him and limit his time of survival without the help of this 'medical ledgend'. "You should hurry. I really don't think this guy has long." I reassured before taking a step back of around three meters from him. Still as I awaited her to come examine and save this man's life, chakra poured directly into my palm though it obviously wasn't be known to her.

It was easy to say that my mind automatically dismissed everything else that he had said prior to the moment that he had spoken of giving me a reward. The fact that I could perhaps get paid for simply healing him was.. something that I would easily take, but what did I really need for money? I had no home, no-one to spend it on and also nothing that I really needed- Or maybe a pair of shoes.. and some weaponry- Yes. That would suffice. His price of one hundred thousand Ryo was very desirable, and should the Hyuuga have not taken the next few steps and taken away both the money and potentially killed the brown haired shinobi on the floor, my eyes would turn from perhaps a more calm gaze to that of anger- What the fuck was he playing at? I was going to visit Kumogakure soon anyway- I’d be sure to tell the Raikage of this person. Ratting out wasn’t my thing but this guy.. was a motherfucking bastard!

”Obliged, oh please. You’re hilarious.”

I wasn’t just going to heal anyone. Sure, everyone had the right to live but some had more rights than others- As I didn’t formally belong to the Kusagakure Medical Corps now I found myself as a freelancer, and to put it bluntly, I healed who I fucking wanted to heal. Who was he to judge me when he had hair like my granddad? He was a bitch, it was decided. Nothing in the future would change this, not even if there was a fire. However beautiful I was, I could always hold a grudge, and I think the longest I held one was for four years, the only reason why it stopped was because the person in question had died. With my arms still on my side I’d raise my head somewhat as I’d look down at them despite being such a distance away, as slowly but surely, I’d begin to make my way towards the both of them, my blonde hair bouncing up and down beautifully as I walked.

Again, almost by automatic reaction I simply denied the fact that the Hyuuga bitch had said all of the things he had spoken, and instead of reacting to the things he had said- Which I do wish I could respond to, I had more important matters to dwell on, as it seemed the fucking pansy of a genius had decided to lodge a kunai in the other guy’s throat. I was all for chucking the both of them off ledges right now but I was all for fairness, and seeing as the other guy was currently paralyzed- or so it was said that he was, and he too looked the part- There was obviously nothing he could do to prevent himself from dying from whatever wound the kunai would inflict, so without saying much, I’d save my curses and hurtful comments for after I had healed him- For now, my form would glide over to the injured and then I’d lean down next to him, taking my time quite well as I stood with my head facing both the Hyuuga and the guy I was about to heal, as almost without any effort at all, chakra would pour in to my hands and, once I’d removed said kunai lodged in the throat, begin to heal him.

As this was done I’d keep my eyes plastered on the both of them- Being a con artist myself I was aware of the tricks that people could pull, and should I find out that it was a ruse all along I’d be more than happy to stab them in the fucking groin then rupture their lungs out with my precious chakra scalpel, a wonderful little creation that I had come to thoroughly enjoy using since I’d learned it. With the soft green glow on his throat, it wouldn’t be long until his throat would be fully healed, and surely should any muscles have been ripped or torn during the puncture then my delicate hands would pick up on such ailments and correct them for him. I had never really worked on patients of paralysation before- But surely it would be the same as any other wound perhaps, or at least, restoring the ability to move- However, the man was a Hyuuga after all with chakra dispelling abilities, so that needed to be taken in to consideration. However; As these thoughts reeled in my mind, I’d keep my eyes plastered on the both of them, baby blue optics staring them down.

Again, he was a genius. I did not care enough to offer a response to his rhetorical question, instead focusing all but a fraction of my attention on the blood woman before us. I hadn't interacted much with medics when I was still apart of Sungakure, for our divisions - ANBU and Medics, that is - were completely separate; however, I knew that one of the prerequisites to becoming one was extensive knowledge and precise prowess over their chakra. If this lady, whom was still unnamed to me, was really a medical legend as she claimed, she too would be a dime in a dozen among shinobi - three extremely gifted shinobi in one place, what were the odds?

"What are you getting at?" I'd asked shortly, cringing as the man once again felt through my possessions. This time he took the ryo I was going to use as a bargaining chip, placing it among his own things before speaking once more. As I was still directed and looking at the woman whilst he did all this, I did not see the blow his kunai would surely make coming. Instead, it plunged into my throat without much of a problem - as my body was still paralyzed - and with the pain I was thrown into complete shock. I couldn't tell what exactly was happening around me, of even if the man and woman were talking, all I could see and tell was my vision slowly leaving me.

-- And it remained that way, at least until I felt the hands of another upon me again. Slowly and surely the pain from the blow ceased and my vision returned, the ability to move my body arriving not long after. I jumped at the ability to move once more, seemingly vanishing - if that could even describe my failed attempt to warp - before reappearing in the same spot. The fact that I still couldn't use the full extent of my chakra shocked me, and I jumped back, stumbling in the process, away from both the woman and the man.

"What the hell did you do to me, Hyuuga?"

For a moment there, I believed that the medic would allow the poor victim to die by my hands. There was nothing I could really do about it now and I just watched him dive into a state of shock from the kunai that plunged into his throat. Meanwhile, our medical legend moved with the swiftness of a snail and the priorities of a sloth. If anything, this guy was ridiculously lucky that he hadn't died today. The medic directly in front of me with and knelt over the body of the wounded. She didn't have any strong amount of urgency but she still did that of which I asked. And for that despite my earlier sly remarks, I felt grateful towards her.

Yet the Uchiha moved with a sudden amount ridiculousness like some sort of kid. The way he spoke made me believe myself to be some sort of witch or voodoo docter. "What did I do?" I uttered almost as if I was contemplating the same question myself. "I saved you from drowning and got this medic to stop talking and free you from my constrictions." Dully noted, I stepped forward to the blonde and tossed the pouch of area towards her breast. She was free to take whatever she wanted from the pouch or even give it back to him.

"Thanks you good ol' medical legend. What's your name anyway?" I inquired, my composure powerfully calm despite the fact the ninja that I defeated had gained mobility again. If he wished to test the waters once more, then I would surely entertain him. I extended out a hand towards her in good faith. She'd better accept if she knew what was best for her own chakra system.

Rising from my position having past been hunched down healing him, as he sprung up from his past position, it simply boosted the idea that I was truly a god among men when it came to medical techniques- My abilities were something to both be feared and praised, and I hoped that at least by showing them my kickass ability with medical techniques that they would stop being such cunts. Not that I was planning to stop being a bitch to them of course- That wasn’t part of the deal itself. Now standing at my true height (my heels adding on a few lovely inches, making me increasingly taller than my original stature) I’d keep watching the two as the brown haired shinobi sprung back away from both me and the hyuuga- Although in all good reason since the guy, frankly, was a pitiful bastard with a bad haircut- And the fact that he had lodged the kunai in his neck, of course, which was never a really good thing to do if you wanted to impress people.

And now as the white haired male seemed to address me once more, requesting my name and producing what would appear to be an attempt at a handshake, I’d go forwards and shake, the sheer strength that I had built up displayed in my firm handshake. ”My name is Blanche.” I’d tell him with my eyes slightly narrowed as I’d speak, before drawing my hand away once more, and then walking a further two meters away from the both of them, my eyes moving from one to the other. ”Yours?” I was speaking not to one but to the both of them; I didn’t care if they had my name frankly, for all I care they could be speaking to their friends about me, as long as my name burned on the tips of their tongues and that I was spoken of, I didn’t care. I wanted people to know me- To praise me, worship me, and the only way that could happen was through word of mouth, and for that reason, I didn’t care when it came to giving out my name. People who have aliases are gay, just saying. Shaking my head once to the left, my blonde hair would bob alongside it, and I’d await some replies.

Saved me? Was that what he really thought he was doing? Strange, wasn't he the very reason I would have drowned in the first place? I could swim, perhaps better than most, if anything it would have been because of the paralysis if I drowned, nothing else. Still, he had essentially blind shotted me - despite saying he'd count to ten - and so I was weary of trusting him, even if his intentions weren't all that bad. I watched him as he stepped closer to the female, his coy antics almost causing me to warn her about him - but I honestly could not care enough about her, so I held myself back. He had been pestering me for my name and had even further attacked me when I ignored him, but I gave it to the 'chick' without a moment's hesistation - funny how things work, right? "Call me Sora, though."

I moved closer to them both with that, confident that majority of control over my chakra had once again been recovered. However, even with that being said, my attention never left the Hyuuga even as I looked at Blanche. "Where are you from, uh..." I paused, faking like I had forgotten her name already. "...blondy?" It was a fitting name; I wouldn't enhance her already annoying ego more than needed by repeating her name in such a way.

The grasp between the medic and myself would be the first sign of a connection forming between us. I didn't expect her to possess so much strength in a single handshake but the firmness of it correlated to a matter of respect. Her name was certainly foreign by the way it forced my pink muscle to roll when pronouncing it. I then took notice to the way she stepped away from recognizing how little we knew about each other. But this was a great starting point right? "Kaeor. Just call me Kaeor." I beckoned towards the woman. I was loud enough so that the active male could hear my words and a raspy grin twisted on my face.

Still he entirely blamed me for reducing him to a ant of his former self. Had he not forgotten he was the one who initiated combat by starting handseals? Nonetheless, I'd allow him to win the childish argument with no muse to entertain his faults. "Sure Sora." I explained with an air of superiority and dash of carelessness in my speech. The whole conversation then transferred to the medical ninja that had appeared from out of no where.

"Yeah. Where exactly are you from?" I agreed with the other male. I certainly had never seen her here around these parts before. Maybe she was more than a vagabond?

"Soratsu. ..Call me Sora, though."

Sora –Didn’t that mean sky? How adorable of a nickname. Sounded a bit gay to say the least but it was cute nonetheless- ”I’m going to call you Soratsu. Sora makes you sound like you're 12.” I told it how it is. But his name wasn’t in the attractive cute way, but it sounded like the name of a preschooler. He seemed pretty intent on giving me his name which wasn’t all that surprising as I managed to pull guys no matter where I went, so surely he’d just be another name on the endless list. With his name and appearance now embedded within my mind, the fact still stood that he had been an absolute dick to me a few minutes ago, so I’d probably forget it sooner or later. The same went for the other kid- The Hyuuga who’s name was now revealed as kaeor, which was also pretty lame, not coming close to the beautiful name that was my own. Shrugging off these formalities and name revealing, I’d cross my arms and keep a watch on the both of them- It was almost as if the words in the past hadn’t been spoken- Of course I still remembered them, and I still had deep hatred for them somewhere within my mind, although at the moment, I hadn’t the care to unleash it.

And then- I couldn’t have frowned more as they asked exactly where I was from- With my headband proudly hanging from my neck, it was quite obvious exactly where I was coming from. Although the brown haired one initiated this moment of stupidity, the sheer ignorance of the hyuuga seconded this, making me perhaps wonder for the future of humanity if they couldn’t tell what villages were from the symbols- Or if they simply hadn’t noticed, which would, really, make them pretty shit ninja if they didn’t take notice of such vital things. My voice not aggravated, but slightly ticked off, I’d explain to them exactly where I was from, my index finger now pointing towards the symbol that was around my neck, plastered on the headband that I wore. ”Kusagakure. My headband reads Kusagakure.” I’d repeat this, wondering exactly how much IQ the both of them had whilst I’d do so, the repetition just in case they hadn’t picked up on either the subtle sign, or the first time that I had revealed it to them by tongue.

Then turning my gaze towards Kaeor, my mouth would open again, my pupils visibly looking down at his headband, then back up at his eyes; ”..Kumogakure, and;” a pause, as I’d then look at Soratsu, wondering exactly where he was from. ”…..” I couldn’t really tell from what he looked like as many shinobi varied from village to village, so it was a mystery as of now. My ego outstretched somewhat as I spoke of my homeland, it was easy to say that I was still very loyal to the village even after it was destroyed from the war. Looking from one to the other, I’d then wait to see where this pitiful conversation was going- To say the least I couldn’t’ really be bothered to speak with them further unless it was something that profited me myself; I’d taken too much time out anyhow with them and even if I had made a sum of 45,000 Ryo in the meantime, my time wasn’t to be wasted on fools such as these. I was aware of course that they both probably had some kind of special prowess, but- It didn’t make my opinion of the both of them better. They were pure fucking dimwits. Just what did they think they were doing even speaking to me anyway?

Kaeor? Kaeor Hyuuga, how interesting. I watched as the two of them shook hands, my face remaining blank as I was uninterested and bored by such a formal gesture. He was a dick who liked to attack people from behind, and she was a bitch with an ego (Which, for the matter, was far larger than my own) the size of the moon - what an odd combination. It didn't phase me all that much with her response to my name, I quite simply ignored her; something, honestly, that I knew I would have to do quite a lot. "I have no allegiance to any village, like I told Kaeor already."

Just because she had a headband from Kusagakure hanging proudly around her neck, didn't mean that was concrete facts that she was from there. I was proof of that alone, I had hitai ates from both Konohagakure and Sunakure, but I wasn't stupid enough to bolster them in foreign land like Blanche. Though I wasn't entirely sure of the diplomatic statuses between Suna and Kumo, or even Konoha and Kumo for I have been gone from my home for months, I didn't take any chances.

"Funny," I began, one hand finding my pockets whilst my eyes narrowed on Blanche. "Rumors are going around that Kusa was destroyed. How could shinobi let that happen?" Legend or not, her seeming lack of care of anyone other than herself was annoying. It was so annoying, in fact, that I found myself stepping backwards away from them both. I would have turned and done this, but the last time I turned my back to Kaeor hadn't ended up all that well. As soon as I was far enough away from them both, I turned and walked away - my free hand ascending into the air in a simple wave as I watched them from my peripherals.

"I left something up ahead, I'll be back in a bit."

And just like that I wandered behind a couple trees and vanished.

I had never met a shinobi who claimed to be of the minor villages but she proudly displayed her headband as such. If history was correct, then Kusagakure had been entirely ravaged by the effects of the war. So could she be someone of war that was looking for a new life just as I was? If so then our congregation had meant more to me than what I initially thought. And seeing that she was a medic then maybe she would have some sort of advice about how to pursue my goals. Or maybe she was advanced enough to heal Areru with her own techniques. Such questions would be saved for later of course.

But the male would find himself exiting before saying something that I was sure would get a rise out of Blanche. He pretty much had called her village worthless to a certain extent. So I would only stand there and watch him begin to leave us. I wouldn't say anything but rather I remained alert as my hand graced the edges of my side.

"Hey. Blanche. I have a question. Have you heard of a disease called disreputia buletasm?"

And as he then spoke ill of my homeland, I couldn’t help but deliver to him the most disgusted look that I had ever given a human being- Who was he, speaking like that to me? It wasn’t that I was disrespectful- Or I was, maybe. My high sense of pride in my looks would be highlighted once more as I’d gently toss the right side of my hair somewhat, the sun which shone down on it reflecting against it beautifully. It would soon seem as if our bastard friend Soratsu had left us, leaving only me and Kaeor left, which was awkward really as it seemed that Soratsu had taken my own idea of leaving hastily, not to say that I wasn’t scared of leaving now, it was just I’d need to make up an excuse so that I could leave the guy. He wasn’t worth my time, and right now he had proven to be more of a bitch than I was- Or was it? Sure enough I wasn’t aware of the fact that I was probably a bigger bitch than anyone I had met up to now, but I pulled it off with elegance and beauty.

Now this, this was where my mind truly came in to motion- Perhaps the first time that I had been interested during this whole meeting between the three of us. As he’d ask this, I could but begin to wonder why- He spoke of it as if he knew it well; ”Do you have it? Why do you ask?” I’d ask with no sympathy or sensitivity in my words, although, being aware that it wasn’t contagious, I’d stay where I was.. Germs had never really been my thing and I despised getting sick. It was a rare thing for me, however, so at least that was a positive point. It would take me a moment or so as I’d think, my mind reeling with different afflictions as I attempted to find out what he had spoken of, although with my eyes lingering elsewhere for a few moments, I’d soon remember what he was speaking about- Sure enough it was something quite strange to ask and there was a reason behind it surely, but, I’d soon answer his question.

”Disreputia Buletasm, a genetic disease. Pretty rare for it to occur spontaneously but there’s a higher chance if one of the parents are inflicted with it.”

I’d say, information spouting out of my mouth as if I was like some kind of all-knowing goddess. And that I was, really, so there was no need to make up such titles about myself when I knew it was all true anyhow. I knew quite lot about diseases and afflictions and I had come across very rare ones before in my time, luckily I had not been diagnosed with one, in fact, I was an incredibly healthy person. ”The symptoms aren’t usually life threatening although carriers are known to die younger than their healthier counterparts, although from what I’ve read, death is possible if the diseased is having an exceptionally bad bout of symptoms, however, this isn’t that common. Many people don’t know they have it and put it down to it being simply flu or another illness.” I’d then cease- I had more information than that, but I paused simply to allow him to speak and respond to me about why he wanted to find out if I knew much about it. Me finding out.. was inevitable. I’d find out somehow, surely. It wasn’t often that I was asked by strangers about genetic diseases, that was for sure, so- Shortening it down, he was either inflicted, or he knew someone who was. Well- This was exciting. Flicking my hair back with my right hand I’d then lower it on my hip once more, my blue eyes glaring in to Kaeor’s own.

I finally had found someone that may have just been an expert on what I needed. There was a glow within my eyes as I gave her my full attention. She was knowledgeable on the topic and cleverly began to introduce mt to what she knew about it. It wasn't nothing that I didn't discover with research on my own. But there was a warmth in knowing that there was someone else who understood the genetic disease. There was irreversibly a problem that I had never paid attention too until Blanche confirmed it. Areru was having a especially bad bout certainly. She had described the fits she would enter and they weren't anything I'd wish on a soul. But then again, there wasn't much if anything that I could do at all at the moment.

With some advanced techniques could heal broken or injured parts of someone’s body, for instance, replace a whole arm with enough chakra being fuelled in to the process, but there was nothing exactly broken in the build of those with genetic diseases. It was something that we as medics could simply lessen the pain of- But diminishing the illness itself? Impossible, as of now at least. Surely there was some technology that could help it that wasn’t to do with the ability of medics, something more electronically than that, but I hadn’t ventured upon such things myself as of yet. I depended on my skills only and basic equipment. Whoever he knew, or himself, would have to suffer an untimely death.

But as of now, we didn’t have that technology, or, I didn’t have that technology. My words were true from what I had told him, and really, I was being a top medic for even telling him this information after he had been such a bitch, but really, my personality as far as my work in the medical field went was very powerful, but even I wasn’t able to do things like that. I think had known first handedly how it felt to lose someone without being able to do anything about it, something was telling me that I had lost something but my memory was so hazy these days, sometimes I could clearly remember and others it was very shady- Now, It wasn’t at its best, but all I could remember was the pain that I had felt, and to be honest- You don’t really want to be feeling that at all, so back, back in to the bottom of my mind it went as I turned my attention back to Kaeor and his question, he still not answering the first question I had asked regarding the disease.

”I’m assuming you must know someone who has it. Or you have it yourself.”

With those words emitting from my mouth I’d keep looking at him, my gaze a little bit hardened now, but nonetheless still pointed at him and his own white lenses- ”Tell me” I’d speak in a soothing voice, similar to that of an angel or at least the closest thing to an angel, my words smouldering and yet.. so soft. It was interesting really the reason for him asking about such a disease, and he had made it obvious that it had something to do with him and his life, so surely I was stepping on to sensitive territory with my words but I didn’t care all that much- Sure enough my title as a medic required me to be sensitive, and yes- I was, I swear- But just not now. I was unsure if it was just a question or not, so whether or not to be sensitive wasn’t exactly a care of mine until I found out the reasons behind his asking. I could probably be the most caring person in the world, but only if I wanted to act that way. Most of the time my barriers were up, and I was perfectly fine with that, thank you. So, shaking my head a little bit, I’d shift from one side to the other to prevent my legs from going dead from standing for such a long amount of time.

And then- the tide of annoyance passing as for now, my emotions coming and going quite easily, I’d then to proceed to give him at least a little bit of information that might prove useful to him. ”There are means, but they won’t come cheap.” It was true- Medics could easily heal people for free if they wanted but when it came to more complex procedures it was no wonder that some people requested the money of others to fund such things. Machines and scans were surely involved so that added to the cost- It all amounted and really, it wasn’t something that an average person could afford. Open to only the children of millionares who were cursed with the disease, the poor and average had to suffer long and hard before they could finally seek peace- in death.
