Through black, moonless night he prowled. Only a diffuse mist crept across the land and, further out, an abyssal body of water, hiding what lied within it's murky depths. To the blue and white colossus, who's body was adapted to this atmosphere, to those aquatic depths, it was a stroll in the park. Gills opened and closed voluntarily. A keen sense of smell made it's nostrils flare while spherical orbs of amber and gold glanced to and fro for an escape. Only a fool would follow behind that often times tameless creature. A failed seed-- A beast more than man.
While powerful muscle and sinew rippled beneath thick blue and white scaled flesh, his stomach knotted and twisted. A perpetual ache drove into his psyche in thrumming waves. Dagron growled audibly, a deep, somber baritone. Hunger took a bite out of his sanity and one step at a time he descended on the path to another bloodthirsty fit. He understood he needed to escape, but his bestial side needed to feast. With shinobi scattered across the mist shrouded isle, picking one off became more appealing by the second. As he neared a loosely forested patch of land, he vanished.
Within the mist guards, though accustom to the dense veil, peered endlessly into the abyss with a sense of struggle. No matter how long one lived in a certain area, there would always be human limitations. Dagron did not that have inability-- No. For a shark-like beast was the ultimate predator. No sooner had he vanished did a scream pierce the silence of night. A loud, long, baleful scream, before it was stifled by a blood filled throat. Inconceivably powerful muscles crushed bone while the nearly half ton tyrant loomed over the corpse of it's victim. Bones cracked. Flesh crunched. The feast began.
Sanguine liquid pooled beneath him. As sharp teeth scooped gore from the ground-- intestines that snapped and popped as they were torn from the body, Dagron felt renewed. The only thing that prevented his roar was the macabre meal that filled his mouth. A sensual thrill filled him with boundless energy. And when other guards finally made their way to the gruesome scene, Dagron was gone, leaving a trail of blood behind but never leading them to him as he dove within the waters that surrounded the island.
