A man would announce to the people that walked through the city of Kam no Shima, it was a fair day so it was tons of people from all over in town. "Ahhh, feels good to relax." Bit would say to him self as the man finished his speech, it had been a wonderful day out, and now he had came to the capital for the fair. Like most kids his age Bit loved to play games, and using his ninja ability's he won a lot. "So which games first." Bit would say to him self as he cracked his knuckles after he did a few stretches. Quickly spotting a game that he liked to play, it was the one where you had throw the ball at the bottles. 'My favorite game.' The young boy thought to him self, but there was quite a line over there. "Well, let's see, there are some girls and boy, and old people I think I can cut in line." he would say with a slight chuckle. Bit being the person he was, he figured he could persuade people to let him get in front of them. He just had to find the perfect target, which was usually around the person right behind the person that's about to go. "Which one, which one." Bit would say as he scanned the line looking for his target. "Gotcha, lady with the brown hair." Bit would say as he started to make his way to the line, giving he was wearing his Kumogakure headband. He wouldn't think anyone would mind, so he would breeze past most people until he reached the girl with the brown hair. He was a bit taller than her so he would of course assume she would be around the same age as him. "Hey, how are you? My name is Bit it's nice to meet you." Bit would say as he presented her with a childish smile on his face, it was something he did when he met girls he couldn't help his self. 'Let's see how this goes.' "Ah, I love to relax."

It had been a long journey, and this was the endgame. Years and years of suffering through odd cuisine, very confusing and arbitrary traditions, and borderline unintelligible accent had brought her here. She found herself poolside inside of a four star hotel, taking in the ambiance of the pool's hum, the water completely motionless, empty. She'd just finished drying off after a nice swim, and was relaxing in her swimsuit, hands coupled behind her head.

In the land of Lightning, it was the yearly festival and fair, which brought Kirino to the capitol as an ambassador for her own Kiri. All she had to do was show up at a meeting held near the tail end of the events, and the rest of the time she had to herself, all expenses paid by the heads of the country. She no longer had to suffer through lowly tasks such as running errands to pay off Kiri's favors to other villages, but rather just had to show her face and shake a few hands. It was a life of luxury, travel, and free food. She really couldn't ask for more.

After giving a few more minutes to let the warmth of the room dry her, Kirino made her way through the changing room, clothing herself with her casuals. Tank top, sports bra, shorts. Just lazy clothing for someone that needs to spring into action from time to time. Even as she left the changing room she kept the towel slung around her neck, hair still wet as well. With this it hung down further than usual, straight, uncurled.

Making her way out of the hotel, the festivities expanded outwards in front of her. Only a few steps away, an assortment of booths were in her reach, everything from candy cutting to fish catching. The traditional festival spiel. She wouldn't jump to any one booth, just walking through the crowd, waving to a familiar face or two. Through her time traveling from country to country she had met her fair share of faces.

"Bueh?"

Her visage recoiled in the most unsightly way as a teenage boy forced his way in front of her. She quickly recovered, blinking a few times, remembering her only real job was to be kind to these village people. The least she could do was hear the kid out, maybe rustle his hair and let him go on his way. She could only pray he wouldn't be trouble. The boy seemed polite enough, a very formal introduction and such, though he sported a somewhat cheesy grin. Why did he approach her anyway? She thought for a second, then remembering the band that was tied around her arm. Maybe he had a question about her village? That was her assumption for the time being, thus-.

"Well, nice to meet you Bit. Can I help you with something?"

"Well, You can let me in front of you for this game?" He would say as he rubbed the back of his head slowly causing his hair to look a little more wide. "NEXT!" the man that was running the game screamed, Bit would turn around to go ahead and take the turn before the girl could even answer his question. "Game time!" Bit would say as he stepped up to the stand ready to take a shot at the bottles. "YOU GOT 3 TRYS KID, IF YOU CAN KNOCK ALL THE BOTTLES DOWN AT THE SAME TIME YOU WIN A LARGE TEDDY BEAR!" The man would say as he tossed Bit a ball, 'Let's play around a little bit.' He would think to him self as he aimed at the far left off the bottles he wanted to completely miss his first try at it. "Ready and FIRE!" he would say as he through the ball softly like a little girl of some sort, the ball would travel fairly slowly and missed the bottles completely. Turning his head back to the girl that was behind him,"That's great right?" He would say with a big smile on his face. 'Now for a slightly better shot.' he thought as he whipped his arm back and lunch the ball with great speed directly left side of the bottles. Sounds of shattering glass would echo through out the stand but there was still one bottle left up. "Wow that sucks, I think they all should have fell." He would say as he kept that smile going, "I'll get it this time." He would say as he turned to the girl again, 'Light work.' Bit would think as he lined up his shot perfectly, 'Ready...Aim.....Fire!" The boy would say as he released the ball with all his might shattering the glass all over the place. "We have a winner, which Animal do you want mist girl?" He would say as he turned back to her, it was his way to start a full blown conversation with the girl. She wasn't from around these lands, so Bit knows it's his job to find out why she was here. "Let you in f-?"

He cut ahead of her before she could even realize she had stepped into line. She gave a sigh, smiling and rubbing the back of her head. The kid seemed... enthusiastic? She wasn't sure what to make of it, but she didn't have much time to process what was going on. The stall's attendant began shouting and gave the kid a ball. Just a second later he winged the ball into the wall of the stand, or lobbed it, rather. This was only getting more bizarre. Was he trying to be funny? The boy turned to face Kirino, speaking.

She didn't say anything, just nodding ever so slightly. Could she just walk away now, the kid distracted by the game? Before she could answer her own question, glass shattering broke her train of thought. She looked up, seeing the shattered glass where bottles once were. The boy turned again. Was he going to do this each time? Why did he miss the first time if he so easily broke the other bottles? It was pretty confusing for Kirino, her smile leaving her face, being replaced by one of utter bewilderment.

Before she knew it, the boy had turned once more, this time posing a question.

"Uh-... Oh, I don't need one! I appreciate the offer, though!"

She managed to snap back into a stable mindset quickly enough. Kirino gave a light bow as she spoke, to convey her gratitude. She had a feeling the kid wouldn't give up right away, though she hoped so. Carrying a giant stuffed toy back to Mist was not high on her priority list. Maybe she could just take it and dump it off somewhere later in the day. That was her best bet at this point. Thus, as not to upset the boy, she stayed put, waiting for a response.

'I thought girls my age loved stuffed animals?' a bewildered face would appear on the kids face as he looked into the girls brown eyes for all of about 5 seconds. 'Tisk Tisk Bit.' Bit felt like she wasn't to interested in talking him, but he wouldn't let up so easy as he let his smile show once again. "Well... I guess you don't have to take it." The Shinobi couldn't let his thoughts show on his face, so he maintained the exact smile that he he had when he greeted her. "Well, seeing as you're not from around here I think we might have to speak a little more." Bit would say in a playful tone, even though he wasn't playing he was pretty serious. "Mist right? If so let's have lunch." Bit would walk off towards what looked like a outdoor food store, but there was another game that he wanted to play right beside it. 'Wait before I start maybe I should ask her if she wanted to play another game or something.' This thought shot across the young shinobi's head as he stared at the man who was running the game for a minute. "Wait, before we sit down and discuss your village we should totally play that game over there, I wouldn't mind taken my mom a fish." He would say as he pointed towards the boof, "Yeah, shall I grab us a spot in line?" He seemed a bit let down by her declination of the offer. For a moment Kirino considered just taking it to make the kid feel better, then tossing it out later, but decided against fairly quickly. It wasn't really worth the time or effort, and god knew how long this boy would be following her around, if he'd see her again, and so on. He was still smiling though, so it must've been fine anyway. The corner of her mouth pulled, twitched as she held back a bit of laughter, imagining what the kid would look like walking around with the large toy hanging his head down in sadness. It was a bit funny, though she knew she shouldn't think that. So she nodded her head.

Have to speak more? Even with his bright demeanor it was a very odd comment to Kirino, though she couldn't put a finger on why. Have lunch? She was getting uncomfortable, her brow lowering with concern, though she maintained a smile as Bit did. She brought her arm behind her head, scratching, laughing a bit before speaking. It was time to get back to the hotel.

"I don't really think I have ti-"

He made another offer, referring her to the fishing game. Well, if it was for his mom she couldn't really say no. Maybe if she caught on for him, he'd lessen up on the demands. Her eyes turned up for a moment as she thought, then back to the boy with a grin.

"Sure, sounds like fun!"

She didn't wait for the boy, moving forward herself. There were two empty spots, fortunately. The owner held out a rod over the tanks of water, allowing Kirino to grab it and get started. She looked to her side, waiting for the boy to arrive before she began.

'Wait I don't have time for this.' Bit thought to himself as he and the girl had made there way towards the line for the game, Bit would slow his walk enough so it wouldn't look like he just stopped out of no where and turned to the girl for a second. "Well change of plans, I don't really feel like playing this game anymore, you and I will be heading for that Food spot to grab a Bite to eat and talk." Bit would say with the most serious tone of voice he had used since he met the girl, The idea finally clicked in the young boy's head that he had to do his job before he continued to have fun with the wonderful fair day going on.

"So you should follow." Bit would say as he turned away from the girl, his entire personality seemed to had changed with in seconds. But that wasn't the case, Bit just relized that it was in his job title that he had to check any foreign Shinobi that crossed his path, well at least in Kami he was obligated to do so. Once they were close to the food place the young boy would direct the girl into the entrance first, not because he felt like she would try to escape but because he had good manors for woman his mom taught "Girls first." he would say as he waited for her to enter the place.

Once Bit followed up behind the girl into the Shop, he noticed it was a well put together place it was actually a nicer place than it presented on the outside Bit was happy about this as he looked for a seat, 'That one in the back.' He would think as he raised his finger and pointed to the table. "There looks like a great spot to sit."

"Wuuuh..."

Well, the kid was indecisive, apparently. It didn't bother her though. She wasn't very interested in playing the game in the first place. Food sounded fun however.

The somewhat aggressive attitude the boy took on went completely over her head. It was hard to seem stern when offering someone food. Kirino reached up, itching her collarbone, as Bit spoke again.

"Alright."

She really couldn't care less about what was happening at this point. As long as it wasn't work, it wasn't work. She hadn't ate yet, anyway, so it worked out. It didn't take long for them to reach the "food place" either, which was nice. As the boy held the door, Kirino completely ignored him, as if under the assumption the doors were automatic, not noticing the boy was there at all. It wasn't untill he spoke again that she remembered what was going on.

"Oh, okay."

She moved over towards the table in question, taking a seat, then yawning. She picked up the menu, using it to cover her mouth as she did so, then setting it down. Not even looking at the menu, she had decided what she wanted. If they didn't have it, anything else would do. The last thing on her mind was thinking, at this point. As the waiter arrived, she'd quickly order.

"Yeah, I'll get a grilled chicken sandwich and some melonaide."

That was it.

The woman would say as they sat down to there table, 'I guess she most be hungry.' the boy though as he looked over the woman's figure one more time, she didn't look much older than him so he would treat her as if she was his age until he knows otherwise,, "Oh I'll have Tso Chinkin please, Please don't over cook it." Bit would say as he folded his menu and handed to the woman. Now his eyes would shift back towards the woman, "So why are you in the Lightning country, I haven't heard anything from my higher ups about someone from the mist arriving here." The shinobi would say as he folded his arms across his chest.

She cocked her head to a side, only now beginning to actually pay attention to him.

"Well, I guess they didn't care enough to tell you, hm?"

It would seem as if she was making a passive aggressive stab at his rank or importance among his own village elders, but it was only a guess with no ill intent. However, it was very unlikely he would take it that way. Her speech didn't contain any venom, but rather a somewhat careless sense of calmness, unaware of her surroundings, only just barely paying any attention to the boy in front of her.

"With the people in charge of the lands instead of the military, and the lack of any wars and such over the past few years... Things have gotten pretty lax, you know? Things don't filter down to us Nin like they did before..."

She tapped her fingers on the table, thinking about her food.

"Well, I guess they didn't care enough to tell you, hm?" the girl would say as she cocked her head to the side a little, Bit's eyebrow would begin to raise. He wasn't sure what the woman was talking about when she said They. 'Who could THEY be.' He would think to him self as he placed his hands on the table, he would look to the left of the girl so he could see if they were coming with there food but it was to no luck. The young boy's mind was wandering a little because there was a brief silence that fell over the duo's conversation.

"With the people in charge of the lands instead of the military, and the lack of any wars and such over the past few years... Things have gotten pretty lax, you know? Things don't filter down to us Nin like they did before..." the girl would say as she tapped her finger on the table, her words would bring the boy back to reality for a bit. Bit's sky blue eye's would attempt to lock with the girls as he leaned forward and spoke a little, "Well, for me, I would have had to know it's kind of my Job to know." He would say as his eye's remained locked on the girls face for a second.

The would begin to lean back a little in his chair, 'I guess she couldn't be much trouble if she is walking through the streets so carelessly.' the boy would think to him self for a moment as a woman brought there food to the table, she would place both of there food right in front of them. "Enjoy." She would say with a smile on her face as she walked away. 'Good service.' He would think to him self as she walked off, "You know what, it's actually no point of this right now." Bit would say as he picked up his chop sticks and began to eat his chicken, the boy would begin to devour his food. "Well, You don't plan blowing shit up do you?" The young boy would ask while his mouth was kind of filled with food.

"Oh. Is it?"

Her questioning once more was innocent, but implied undermining, calling his profession into question. She had a bad tendency of word simple questions in what may seem like a hostile way, her tone conveying a hint of boredom which might sell the question as such. The boy's serious demeanor wasn't caught by her own gaze, likely to the frustration of the young ninja. It wasn't that she didn't care, but rather that she didn't really care. At this point, Kirino was used to most things just happening for her. If someone needed to check where she was from, they would just do it, ask the questions and get it over with. There was never an interrogation or roundabout answers, just straight facts.

She'd glance towards her younger companion as he relaxed slightly, smiling. At least he seemed happy; or was that because the food had just arrived? It didn't matter to her at this point, she had a sandwich to eat. Diving in, she'd exclaim the quality of the burger.

"Mmmh, this IS a tasty burger!"

It wasn't so loud as to bother anyone else, just a loud statement. The boy said something else, she responded, swallowing before speaking as her mother had taught.

"Uh- *gulp* Ah. No, I don't. Does that happen a lot here?"

"Uh- *gulp* Ah. No, I don't. Does that happen a lot here?" the woman would say while she savagely ripped through her food, 'Wow she can eat.' Bit would think to him self while he kind of tuned the woman's words out just a bit, it wasn't unusual that Bit lost focus while talking to the woman in front of him. 'She can't mean any harm to our capital.' The boy thought as he turned back down to his food and began to ravage it, Bit was actually pretty hungry he hadn't ate since his mom cooked him some breakfast. His focus had almost completely left him, he almost got the girl was even sitting in front of him until he looked seeking a drink from the glasses that the waitress had dropped off at their table.

"Well honestly, I don't see you as a threat at all." the boy would say nonchalantly as he looked into the girls deep brown eyes. 'Wait!' The boy thought as his eyes shot away from the girls for a quick second, 'I wonder...' Bit would think as he finished up most off his food, there would be red sauce around the boy's mouth along with little pieces of rice. "So sense you didn't come here to blow things up, how about you spend your time with me?" the young boy would suggest not known or caring about the woman's age. Bit figured since she was his size she could possible be his age.

Kirino couldn't help but smile as the boy matched her appetite. It was always nice to see someone with as big of a (allegorical) stomach as herself. At one point she gave the boy a thumbs up in approval, doubting the boy noticed, however. Eventually, the boy spoke up, commenting about her being a threat. She nodded, looking upwards in the same motion. Yeah, she agreed, not much of a threat. Even as she sat at the table Kirino didn't doubt the boy if not someone else in the same little restaurant could take her out.

Then, the boy presented an idea. Kirino covered her own mouth just before he spoke, noticing the crumbs scattered about her face. Her hand concealed a small fit of laughter, though she regained composure quickly. It took her a moment after that to process what the boy had said. She didn't come to blow things up, so...

"Well, I still came here with a purpose, you know?"

It was denial with a smile, but then she cocked her head.

"I suppose I'm free until tomorrow though, to be honest. Did you have something in mind? Maybe a date?"

Kirino would cover her mouth, it had seemed she had gotten a little sloppy with her food. 'She can eat.' I thought as a smile broke across my youthful face, she was actually the first girl I've seen eat like that it was pretty cool. I would cross my arms as I waited for her to answer my question, when she finally was able spit some words out she spoke of coming there to Kami with an objective. 'I wonder what that is?' I would think to my self for a second before I noticed the girl cocking her head to the side a little, a small smile crossed her face as she spoke again.

'She caught me!' I thought to my self as my face began to turn a little red, I didn't expect the girl to even agree to the terms of us even leaving this diner together but she asked me on a date. A big smile would cross the boy's face as he looked into girls deep brown eyes for a second, 'She can't be serious'

"You know, I was going to ask did you want to come along for a few more games. But a date sounds so much cooler."

I would say as I placed my hand on my chest, 'This is my chance though.' I would think to my self as I sat across from Kirino, I couldn't help but to have a funny feeling in my stomach after her suggestion. I hadn't actually been on a date with a girl yet, it would be something pretty new to me if she was serious. Now my eyes would be locked with the girls for a second waiting for her response.
