The youth would instinctively wake up with Kumogakure no Sato on the brink of sunrise, a rather convenient habit he’d picked up during his short year within the village. Roused from deep sleep, white eyes only half-open, his mind would immediately be flooded with commotion – to-do lists, errands, missions – the constant, menial workload that came along with being a member of the Hidden Cloud’s lower-ranking ninja.

STORE WORK
While enjoyable at the beginning, with time the odd jobs would become dull and boring; thus, rumor of the Chūnin exams had left the Genin in utter elation. The opportunity to advance in rank was rare, an occurrence he’d as well take full advantage of.
Truthfully, his promotion was long overdue, seeing as he’d actually graduated from the academy nearly five years ago. While the majority of this span had been spent outside of a traditional hidden village, he’d still completed similar tasks, though instead for small towns scattered throughout the world, the poor people not having the money to request from a true ninja village.
Reflecting on his past, these ponderings would eventually lead him into the kitchen, wherein he’d heat up leftovers from the night before, afterward taking them out onto his balcony to eat.
The genius Hyūga’s house would be positioned on a mountainous plateau toward the back of the village, and as with every structure at the rear, stood on a higher plain than most of the other buildings. So much so that, by standing on his back balcony, Haru would have a picturesque view of the entire city, additionally able to clearly see the beautiful outlying landscape.
He’d gaze over the scenery with feelings of content and happiness, satisfied in his decision of joining this village over the four others he’d been able to choose from; while extremely powerful, it had always retained its beauty and magnificence, as could be seen in the village’s shinobi, and even the town itself.
Once finished with both his cheery observations and eating, the boy would make his way into the shower, concurrently contemplating on an outfit for the day. While outside, he’d noticed a familiar chilliness that would warn the boy not to put on anything too light or thin; but at the same time, he couldn’t wear anything too heavy, seeing as his mission would most likely involve copious amounts of movement and physical exertion.
He’d have an answer upon concluding his fifteen-minute bathing session, now making his way from the bathroom to his closet.
He’d first don his customary black, hooded overcoat, grey t-shirt embellished with a dark-blue Kumogakure symbol on the left-chest and back worn underneath. Below, he’d wear skinny, black pants along with a pair of matching, narrow, tasseled loafers.
A smaller version of the Kumogakure hitai-ate would be worn strapped to his right upper-arm, though concealed by his outerwear, a steel ring with the kanji for main house engraved in black adorning his left ring-finger, and while he would refrain from bringing along his newly bought rapier and main gauche, the rest of his ninja tools would be carried on his person.
Prepared, he’d grab his mission note and make his way from the residence, ready to begin the last of his duties as a Genin.
