As the strategy of his foes became evident, Satsui merely crouched and gave the appearance of an easy target in the hopes of increasing the bears bravado. They had a clear advantage in terms of strength and, of course, numbers but the young Genin's analytical tendencies sychronized to deliver the odds on a variety of possible outcomes. The scene of his triumph crystalized and, through his meticulous calculations, he came to regard each of the roving animals simply as play-things for his own amusement. Their circular movements began to encroach upon his territory to a much greater extent and as he watched them gauge his slightest movement he went to one knee, slipping his hands inside his clothes. He formed a set of unseen kata and then held his hands on the last seal until his prey gave notice of their intent to attack. His wait was miniscule and only moments passed before the bears roared in a bestial duet. They started to run, or more aptly gallop, towards Satsui who remained in his kneeling position with but a hint of a smile etched into the corners of his mouth. They eradicated this distance between them; thirty meters faded into fifteen and then five before there was any movement from the boy. However, once they breached fifteen feet he flew into action and completed the final seal whilst freeing his hands from his clothing. It was just as he'd thought- the bears were able to remember the blinding flash they'd suffered at his hands the last time and with this knowledge they attempted to turn, running sideways for a moment, in order to shield their eyes from the attack. But Satsui had forseen this and even hoped for it so he changed tactics to better increase his current chances to harm the beasts.
The jutsu he used was the Purazuma Booru and the bears played into it so well by having turned their bodies just prior to the sphere exploding outward from Satsui. Their miscalculation of his actions had exposed more of their frames, i.e. greater surface area, to the shocking effects of the jutsu and both were instantly shocked resulting in a mild paralysis. However, not to be satisfied with the meager, Satsui had remained moving the entire time and had removed two kunai from his pouch and brought them to his legs. He wasn't mangling himself but instead freeing himself from his self-imposed bondage by cutting the chords which fastened the weights to one of his legs. One kunai was placed between his bared fangs and the weights which bound his left leg were hurled toward the bear on that side, striking it flush in the side of the face. The paralysis had just barely worn off to be replaced by disorientation and confusion. Less than a second later, the bear would feel a cold pinch in its neck and then it would feel nothing more from anywhere in its body. Satsui had covered the ground betwixt them, leaped onto the creature's back, and plunged both kunai into the base of its neck. The spinal chord was severed and the paralysis returned to the fiendish critter and this time it was permanent. The last bear was coming to aide as Satsui slid off the back of the second and freed his second leg from its hefty bastille. The charging behemoth then recieved a double dose of what the former experienced and the heavy blows brought its forward momentum to a halt. Just as it was shaking its head to clear its garbled vision it caught sight of something moving toward it at great speed and it lashed out with one of its might paws, the extended claws turning it into a deadly mace.
The surging paw did just that, passed cleanly through thin air without striking anything and the bear relented its fervor for a moment until the sound of shuffling feet entered its ears. Once again it looked up, in a panic, which presented a greater target to Satsui who was curled up directly underneath the massive animal. The twin daggers flew again to puncture either side of the bear's neck and then each blade was forcefully dragged across the scruff until the whole throat had been slit. Satsui normally would have given himself time to be drenched in the blood of his enemy, as it was an awesome showering of the crimson spate, but he couldn't risk the bear falling on top of him and pinning him on the mountain top. He escaped an instant before the bear's equillibrium fled and its furry carcas descended into the dirt to join the others.
As the sun's first rays peeked over the cliffs and illuminated the scene of the carnage it also revealed Satsui stretching his hands toward the heavens and grinning like a fool. Until he realized he had no way of completing his mission. How would he transport the bodies of his prey to the bottom of the mountain in order to distribute the goods? This sudden realization almost robbed him of the joy he'd been feeling moments earlier. But, instead of falling victim to depression he clamped down on his emotions and turned to start back down the mountain. Along the way he might pass a traveler or a merchant and stealing a cart from them would be a welcome change of pace from bear hunting. He'd gone about fifty feet down the trail when he thought he heard some type of growl from behind him. He turned to see four grizzlies moving at top speed down the pass behind him and even though they were some sixty meters away, Satsui was still surprised he hadn't noticed them. He turned away, dropping something from his pocket, and continuing on down the trail. The bears had to reduce their speed to keep from tumbling down the steep passage yet Satsui didn't seize the opportunity to speed up himself. Having navigated the most difficult part, the animals slowly began to regain the former speed but still Satsui continued to stroll along as if nothing were going on.
A quick look to the rear prompted him to make a single hand seal which in turn detonated the explosive tag he'd allowed to slip from his pocket. There was a rumble and a flash followed by a wave of heat on his neck before paws and feet began raining down from the skies. He just didn't have any inclination of messing with any more shit and had taken the somewhat easy road. Undoubtedly, he would regret it when he came back up the mountain to collect all the pieces but he wasn't thinking about that at the moment. He was going to make it to the bottom of Mt. Gekitsuu and rob the first motherfucker he came across with a cart large enough to tote the bodies of all the bears he'd killed and then, after sufficient rest, he would make his way to the village that marked the spot of his destination to inquire of Hirihi and disperse the bounty of his mountainous expedition.Fuck bears.
