[/font]Toed up, decked out, and ready to rumble, the young white-haired genin tighten the headband which resided neatly across his forehead. His mission was a simple one a true old-world shinobi mission, a mission to find and kill the desired targets. There were many mysterious and dangerous creatures which roam the the Kaminari no Kuni lands which are a danger to the human race. Not everyone out there can fend for themselves and it was the villages job to round-up and capture any creatures which cause harm out in the wild, whether it be from the plains or the forests. It was the shinobi's job to keep those who cannot fend for themselves safe from harms way. Licking his lips propitiously and lighting the cigarette which sat deftly between them Satomi walked forward, each foot moving casually in front of the other, with only the slightest particles of dust billowing in their wake.
He was situated in a small circular ring in between a wooden door frame looking out amongst the ring which he would soon be walking in. The walls that made the circumference of the sphere were not overly high, reaching to heights of five to seven meters. It was in this arena that he would meet his prey, a predator looking to dispose of the threat at hand. In his mission he had been issued to singularly deal with five hungry Dire Wolves, formidable beasts indeed which only a fool would take lightly. Shinobi from the cloud had received distress calls from locals which lives around the woodlands whose cattle and other livestock were being pillaged by these wolves. So, it was Kumogakure's job to wrangled the wolf pack up and remove the threat. Here, they are use as opponents for shinobi to practice and hone their skill on, an event some would call barbaric and cruel, but in a time of war and unstable relations the village needs to train is shinobi to encounter any danger. It be the best.
Hauling a deep and soulful amount of smoke into his lungs Satomi walked out into the middle of the arena and looked around to his surroundings. It was simply a training day today and there were only four people scattered around the stands which also circled the ring. Two guards were there situated at each side of the gate which opposed his own current position, another shinobi was at the door Satomi had come from, while another unknown figure sat watching the stands. The day was overcast like most Kumogakure had to offer. The cloud was relatively low as it billowed over the mountain sides like gushing water from a stream. The sound of thunder could be heard in the distance as the ever temperamental skies above the village erupted in protest with much vigor. Satomi would hope that it wouldn't rain as he didn't prefer to fight whilst there was a downpour. He liked to know every outcome and rain was an unreliable variable in battle.
Looking over towards the gates he could hear the Dire Wolves being prepped for the battle which was about to commence. Satomi could hear the howls and low growling which proceed from behind the shadow of the bars. These wolves would weight approximately 200lbs and were hungry for fresh meat and flesh. Although Satomi was not frightened, he had been a part of these missions before and had definitely seen them. There was limited way for the shinobi to be in troubled as official stationed guards were around just in-case things get out of hand. The training practices in the village were harsh and strong but not cruel and unreasonable. Each life was still valued with the utmost moral integrity. Suddenly the gate slowly creaked open in the distance, was it about to begin? With a small plume of smoke gushing from Satomi's mouth he lay in wait of what was to come. How exciting!
