Making his way out of the mission compound Satomi strolled through the street to find the specific location of the rebuilding. Pulling out the map with the marked position on it he rotated the about four times until he was certain that the map was the right way up, with just slight confusion. Scanning the page and wracking his brain he figured that the neighborhood where he was needed wasn't too far away from his location but probably too long for a walk. He would take the rooftops to get there much quicker using his speed and precision to overcome the slippery roof-tiles and awkward slope. However, he had run out of cigarette's and wanted to go past the corner store to pick some up. Entering the diversion into his travelling equation he set off in speed rolling the map up in his hand has he sprung forth from the ground bouncing from wall to wall up to the closest roof.[/i]
Shifting his weight from one foot to the other he made his way over each roof bellowing across with grace. He would hang high in the air in-between jumps and look to his sides. He enjoyed people watching. The absolute and undeniably simple action of people watching. Height was something that he did not fear and a birds-eye-view was something that excited him. He could watch over the people who were going about their daily tasks and business like a guardian of the village, a Kumogakure shinobi. Pushing off a roof he increased his speed as the corner store was close. The people he peered at now became a simple blur as his movement did not allow his eye to catch up. With a simple two foot pressed stop onto of a roof he did a forward flip and landed heavily down upon the ground just below the corner store giving a small girl and her mother a fright, as they also, were making their way in.
Sorry about that!
Dropping his head slightly he walked into the store and greeted the young man behind the counter. His favourite tobacco was had been sold out and the young lad said the next shipment was more than a week away. With a humble sigh Satomi pointed the carton closest to him. With thoughts of his taste and strength wandering through his mind he paid the man behind the counter and politely thanked him for his service. As he walked outside he pulled a single rolled cigarette out of the carton and began to light the tip. Smoke quickly billowed from the end and Satomi hastily pulled the cigarette out of his mouth, tilting it slightly as he looked at with a confused expression. He wasn't to sure on this brand yet, as it gave the feeling as if he was being punched in the back of the throat. However the aftertaste was quite soft, the polar opposite of the initial impact. Slipping the pack into his pocket he made his way back onto the rooftop above and to his mission location.
Slowly puffing on his cigarette he would make it on time to reconstruct the village. Personally, he was surprised that he was issued this mission. Since the war there was much reconstruction within the village already. Many craftsmen, builders and laborers were brought in from surrounding countries drawn by the high demand. Much was already repaired but it could be said that it was all external. Many deeper suburbs within the village had not been touched yet and Satomi knew that was were he was going. There was still people in dire need of a healthy young man to help move rubble and such so they can move back into their homes and move on with their lives. He could see a group of people gathered at the start of the street ahead, the location of his mission. A small group of adult men were at the entrance while there was approximately another four to five wandering up and down the street. Knowing that he was on time he quickly put out his cigarette as he landed down by the group of men. As they turned to see what startled them Satomi had already begun speaking with a cheerful grin, we was relaxed and in an odd way eager.
Excuse me, I am Satomi Kaguya, a village genin assigned to the Reconstruction mission. I hope I am in the right place?[/i]
