The World seemed to be balanced by creatures big and small, dominated mostly by the small. Things stayed in balance because of meat eaters, carnivores, you know, those things that kill other animals. In fact if not for them, we'd have too many herbivores running around and we'd have too little vegetation, dooming us all to die in a horrible oxygen lacking environment. So although the. Carnivores played a very important role in society, they were still looked down upon as filthy savages. They are also known as Menaces, such as the fish Natsume Hoshigake, was supposed to find, and get rid of because they were over eating.
Apparently the kinds of fish he had caught before to feed the village also fed these small animals as well. Nat felt it wrong to prosecute these animals for doing what they do and felt a bit bad about accepting this kind of mission, it left a rather disturbing taste in his mouth. Not because he couldn't stand killing critters, cause he really didn't mind killing anything really. But because he could relate his past much to these fishes, heck they probably even swam in the same water as his species.
Although he was told to bring them back, he had a plan to rescue these fine critters, and boy oh boy did he have a plan. Nat walked about looking around at the various objects alongside the lake, having activated his Jutsu, Akuarungu, his gills were beginning to kick in as he stared at the water, watching the carnivorous fish bite into one of the others with such ease it was pretty ridiculous. He thought that the he might encoutner a few bites attempting to capture these little hoodlums, but all the more fun right? anything that doesn't cause a sweat probably wasn't worth the time to do it.
Now he was sort of pumped up, he wanted the fish to fight back and for them to rush him in this pool. fighting fish in their habitat would be so much fun if he could actually get them to. A feeling of Malicious intent began to swoop over him as he looked blankly into the pool of water. Grudging the fact the fish could swim when they pleased, he felt a sense of envy as well, all of which were at petty amounts as seconds passed by, but it was whatever, by the time the feelings were gone, Nat had began diving into the water.
