Babysitting....Shark?

Odd mission choice for a member of the Hoshigake bloodline, he knew, but hey, he was people to. He, like any other ninja, needed to continue to do missions to obtain enough money to survive. If not for that and his dream of becoming a teacher at the academy he wouldn't bother with this mission at all. He could keep fishing, or removing those crazy warrior fish he loved to fight so much. But no, he needed the experience in handling children of all age groups, he wasn't sure what kind of students he'd end up with if he even made it.

Nat was supposedly looking for a large 3 story house, within this house was supposed to be 3 kids he was supposed to be watching. He shrugged and looked around at a series of large houses none of them appeared to be the one he was looking for. Well, he shouldn't say that, maybe not what he was expecting them to be. The area looked rich as all hell, but it had this weird area of...well something that made him feel ridiculously uncomfortable.

Beginning to move down the street at a leisurely pace he checked the sheet he held in his hand. Looking at and reading all the information that the thin sheet of paper held, absorbing it much like a sponge as he did so. Okay so he was looking for a large yellow house, creepy, large circular window at the attic, creepy, surrounded by iron gates, yup creepy. Looking around for the house that was described, he stared straight ahead, finding the house directly in front of him, alone, seeming to absorb all the color out of the sky where it sat. Well, if this wasn't going to be a mission he wasn't quite to sure what would be.

"Fun, yup that's what this looks like...."

Fixing his scarf as he pushed open the gate he stopped and took in the environment once more. Looking up at the attic window, a figure brushed by, a feeling of malevolence radiating from the building as it did so. This day was getting better and better.

That’s right; we’re asking our newly appointed Genin to take up this task. Watch a Kumogakure adult’s baby while that adult or couple go out enjoying their time once in a blue moon. His body seeming to pull him forward without his own regard, almost as if it didn't care about what he thought anymore because he was just being paranoid. Although it wasn't making him helpless or frightened he was over thinking the situation and if something was wrong he couldn't react properly. A complete mental and physical lapse that lasted the entire walk to the front door, one of those moments you were to busy being aware to be aware of yourself. His head came back the moment his feet touched the moldy carpet at the front door, the feeling of sinking into comfort nearly destroyed by the 3 by 2 piece of mold. Stepping off of it and pushing it away with his right foot over to the side of the house, he finished clearing the path to the door way.

Having finished examining the structure and the somewhat weak looking wooden door he pondered whether or not he should knock. There were actually two reasons for this, one the door seemed as if he did so it'd fall off it's hinges, that wouldn't go over well. And the second part was the creepy little girl who was staring at him through a barely moved curtain. Pointing at the door he gestured for her to open the door only for her to giggle and run off, a weird giggle that was audible from the third floor of the building. Nat blinked several times and then pinched his nose cursing his mission selection one last time as his has bounced off the door about 5 times. And within a 5 second span a bone hand came around the opening door, the creaking almost seeming to come from the effort used to move the thick barrier.

"I'm sorry ma'am, but i was sent here for some...babysitting....yeah..."

He said feeling a bit awkward about the entire situation Looking back up with a movement of the eyes the child was back up there again watching from a distance. The figure seemed to be covered in a light robe, an incredibly skinny demeanor sitting beneath it as Nat could clearly see knees, elbows and even her spine through the tight fitting robe. Shaking his head as he stepped inside the house he noticed everything was unusually clean, the creepiest part was everything was strapped down in some fashion. Additional pieces of metal hung from everything attaching it to the wall or ground he felt like he was being called a thief now. Fun.

The woman extended her nearly lifeless appendage towards the young muscle coated teen, his eyes suspiciously scanning her limb with many questions. Why she was so skinny for one, it was very unusual to find someone in such a prosperous region to look so unkempt or groomed. Her hair was everywhere which, unlike the meat of her body, was in abundance making her seem almost like more of a hair ball then a human being. He extended his hand to her's as to be polite and felt like her bones were burying deep into his cartilage for warmth and protection, something her body couldn't give it.

"H-hi i'm is-is-iiiiisabella..."

Giving her an entirely blank stare with a mild number of blinks Nat simply glared at her from across the room. As his lips began to move to reply to the ladies obviously struggled speech he found the sound of footsteps cutting him off nearly instantly. He turned his head slowly to the unknown figure, based on the sound there were 3 children unless she had a freak child who had six feet. Stepping in next their mother two of the children gripped on for dear life, while the other simply stared at Nat with a creepily innocent stare.

"Mother....weren't you leaving?"

The small child asked and with nothing more than a nod and a somewhat hurried exit the mother and two children were gone. Looking at the small child Nat just blinked, her eyes seeming to suck him in, causing him to shift them in and out of her gaze occasionally.

"So...how's you-"

"Look! okay, i run things around here, nobody even blinks if i don't say so! Got it!?"

Nat stopped and did nothing but...well, blink the little girl approached him with a rather sinister look on her face as he did so.

"I'll teach you!"

She yelled as she began to run upstairs in a hurry, Nat watched the entire time and shrugged, this was getting ridiculous and he began to think he was dreaming. Sitting on the couch, he put his legs up and relaxed.

The day was feeling a tad dull, sluggish movements like thick fluids seemed to make the day go by, why did people babysit anyway. this was horrible, like watching someone's box of laundry while they went to get more soap, was he really needed. Yeah, yeah children did stupid things, but this little girl hadn't done anything but run upstairs, well thats what he thought. Nat's eyes were slowly closing as he knocked out, becoming both bored and tired from the non existent antics of this small child. As his eyes flickered and his mind drifted in and out of consciousness, he was unsure, but he believed he saw a black figure moving down the steps. Opening his eyes wide he could clearly hear a growling sound as a black colored tiger jumped for him.

Baring it's fangs and it's paws out to pounce, Nat turned and dropped from the couch to the ground evading the oncoming tiger. Rolling onto his belly he looked at the beast, it seemed rather, arty for a beast, making him question it's very existence, maybe he was asleep. It came around for an additional attack, Nat scrambling to his feet as he dashed forward and threw a full powered straight into the beasts mouth.

In a burst of ink it was gone, the splatter of the thick ebony substance that threatened to stain his already black clothing and his light blue skin. Looking to the stairs a little annoyed, he slowly began to straight up and wonder what exactly that child was doing. A seemingly innocent laugh escaped the hollows of the stairway, giving the girl a very...demonic persona. Nat slowly made his way to the steps, his body seeming to move on it's own, the uncomfortable presence still existing, even more so now that he was higher up. Turning to his left he saw the open door and the open curtain, leading to the roof of the house could she really be doing this?

Nat continued his sluggish pace towards the abandoned room, stepping in quietly as if trying not to wake a sleeping lion. And he was right, about 5 more of those beasts sat sleeping in the room. Nat looked at this situation and wondered how the hell watching little Timmy, Jill and Bob turned into a high tension situation between him and someone crazy little girl. Moving with, well obviously, ninja like precision, he managed to get through with no problem, the black flame like designs that radiated from the beasts gave the room some faint motions in the dark, making it hard to tell if Nat was staring at an awakened beast or the undying flames.

Stepping out of the window and onto the roof of a portion of the multi-leveled house, Nat found the girl standing there staring over the edge with her book in hand. Her Red dress pressing against her body, Nat simply standing and watching as he felt like he had just approached a boss battle.

"She isn't my mother....you're not my father...why do you people insist on trying to run my life?"

"I...I just got here-"

"I mean...i'm a child i haven't even done anything to you people...yet you all want to treat me like dirt...?"

"no seriously, i didn't even tell you to do anythi-"

"Why do you do these things...?"

"I haven't told you to cook or clean or-"

" Do you hate me?"

"I never even.....what?"

"Do you hate me?"

"....N-no?"

"Then why do this?"

" Do what?"

"Do you want me to bleed? Hmm? how about cry? huh mister fish?"

"Why would i want....was that a racial slur?"

"Well stop it! I am my own person and NONE of you can tell me otherwise!"

She finished as she turned around, her emphasis and yelling awaking the beasts within the room. Nat looked back and sigh, stuck between hungry lions and some crazy chick, life was sweet, no?

His eyes were those born from the wilderness and struggle filled environments between humans, shark and those who wish to destroy the hybrid. He found it rather easy to pick off the series of animated ink blobs with good enough precision. Turning his back to the small child he reached behind his back, his hands falling onto a rather large piece of steel, otherwise known as giant shuriken. Removing one from his back, he hurled it into the oncoming crowd. The blade sliced away the air from in front of it, creating a path way for it to travel upon, ripping open the wall alongside the window in a thin and speedy motion it flew into the room, wrecking havoc on those standings cats. Unfortunately, most of them had been crouched as to pounce, the effective technique proving ineffective to their low position.

Counting in his head, he made it up to 10 or so before they began to move again, Nat kissing his teeth as he knew he couldn't do this at this exact moment. He had calculated his odds and he had not nearly enough room to fight 10 plus animals who did not have a life to lose. He showed fangs, as if to show he could be wild to, hoping to get them to maybe just relax long enough for him to be able to actually, you know, get out of there. But that had little to no chance of working.

"I want you to move as soon as i give the signal okay?"

He asked the small child, only to get no response, turning around he saw the air almost mid air on the back of a giant ink bird. The girl was panting, obviously she had no chakra left at this point, which made Nat smirk as he ran forward and threw a single explosive note at the winged beast. The sizzling sound caused the girls head to whip back and watch the note with little to no options except for it. The bird squawked and within a few moments had burst in a shower of ink onto the ground below. Nat was glad it was a single story up, because his plan wouldn't work otherwise.

The child screamed in shrill voices, varying tones as she acted as if she was about to die, which she would if Nat wasn't around. Running full speed towards the edge of the house, Nat pressed his feet into the roof and jumped, catching the girl mid air as he did so. In the air with him, unfortunately were a set of three lions, the rest trailing behind as Nat held onto the child with a single arm and continued running once he landed, stopping only to turn and throw a giant shuriken, his last one, towards the pack.

3 more fell to the ninja tool, the rest landed quickly as he put the small child down and used his body like a dome to protect hers from harm as the beasts fell onto his back, scratching open large portions and pressing their weight against him. Upon standing up he took a stance in front of the child, his eyes becoming more focused and slightly more entertained by all of this.

"Let's....do this."

Nat was unsure how long the fight lasted, how many wounds he obtained and how many times he had felt the blood dripping down his muscled frame. But by the time it was all over, he was nearly painted red and did not have the energy to stand up and pose any real fight to anyone. The last thing he remembered was a kiss on the cheek from the child and the words "Thank-You"...
