The delighted look on the young girl's petite face made him smile. Such an enthusiasm for training was always nice to see. He could only hope his new methods of instruction could keep up with the eagerness and ardor that came with his student. Biting into his blueberry bagel once more, this time reducing it to half of what it used to be, the Akegarasu would chew as he thought on the matter of revealing his newest promotion. In a way, he felt that would change things between him and his imoto. For better or for worse, he couldn't say, and it was that mystery that was keeping him from bursting out loud with the news. He still had a coffee and bagel to finish after all. He could tell Yukiko before they left, before they headed off for a mission.
Just as he had begun chewing and chugging down the last of his tasty late morning snack, his Yukina companion would coincidentally begin to talk about that very subject- the next mission they would take, and whether it would take them out of the country and to places beyond. Now that the young Chuunin (soon to be Raikage) thought about it, he was also interested in seeing where the high ranked missions he was encouraged to complete would take him. He had been a traveler since his early teens- the love of the journey was in his heart- and now he was simply elated to realize that his new rank might just bring out the possibility of traveling once more- this time with his proclaimed little sister, of course. Then again, however, he wasn't sure he wanted to escort Yukiko out of Kumogakure when they had just recently returned from Tetsu no Kuni.
"Yeah, I think we can arrange an out-of-country mission sometime later." Atlas would smile, gently sipping the last of his coffee afterwards. He noticed that Yukiko had finished her meal, and he was barely just finishing his. "I think a trip to Hi no Kuni would be pleasant. I heard their spring and summer seasons there are almost never-ending. Not to mention the wide variations of flowers they have. You'll need to ask permission from your parents first, of course." As an explorer, at the age of fifteen, he had passed through that land before. All he could remember was the unbearable heat and endless presence of fauna and trees. But that was only because he had become so accustomed to the chill Kumogakure presented to him on a daily basis- a chill he, quite frankly, preferred. Not warm, but not freezing either.
After listening in to anything Yukiko might say, and realizing he was done, the Akegarasu decided he could break the news of his status as Raikage later- after they'd finished the mission he had promised to take her on. Wiping off the edges of his mouth with a napkin, Atlas turned his green-eyes from the peaceful setting on the other side of the window to his blue-eyed companion sitting in front of him. "All set to go, kiddo?" He'd ask with his trademark smile. "Let's head over to the mission compound before they take all the good ones, hm? And remember," He'd lean forward on the table and poke her forehead gently with a pointed finger. "You're choosing~!" Then, when he was done, he'd rise from his seat, wave a thankful goodbye to the employees who had served them, and head off to open the door for Yukiko. "Allons-y! Let's show Kumogakure how much stronger we've gotten, hm?" He'd grin brightly.
