Eh, Areru being well, Areru, she wasn’t too keen on focusing on the bad points of life and instead preferred to much think of the more positive things. Although these houses had been ravaged by the hands of violence, the owners were at least, getting a new home out of the housing project which had started up. Or, they were getting their old homes back but in a different state- They would be re-done, re-painted, re-everything really. She could easily remember back to the moment when they went back to their house after it had been done up- Going up to her room the colour scheme had been much different to how it had usually been, but she was so glad to see her bedroom again. It was such a basic thing to have and to lose, but she had missed it.

”…..” staying silent she would soon approach the area where she was meant to help clean up with a team, she’d look about at the destroyed houses and buildings- A lot of them were still standing but in bad condition, but others were totally destroyed, leaving only bricks and rubble in their wake. These sorts of places would surely be upgraded by the council and maybe it would perhaps be nice to put some nice plants around the place, or grass and trees. Something like that which could make the place look nice after the rubble would be shifted around. It would be a nice place to go after these changes had been done, right now it looked like that part of town you never really went to because you’d be scared you’d get attacked there.

However, looking around the people didn’t seem all that shady- They seemed to just be.. normal people, really. A lot of them were clothed quite cleanly although with others she couldn’t really blame them since they had no doubt lost everything and that was clothes included, although the shelter probably supplied a few basic things that they needed like underwear or tshirts. Smiling warmly to one of them this greeting would hastily be dismissed as he’d turn away and seemingly ignore her, causing her to give his back quite a quizzed look, before she’d turn her attention back towards the buildings around her. Whatever was she going to do today? With Kaeor she had helped clean a room but, surely there was more than that to do today.

The area of town that she had past been in to help clean up had been in a slightly better state than this one was at the moment, so she’d probably be given a different job to do- But what exactly? She had seen a few people picking up the rubble with spades and placing it on to nearby trucks, the large rocks probably being used for decorative purposes later on but the brick she wasn’t sure about what they village was going to do with them- Perhaps they’d re-use them? Having heard of such recycling ideas she had no clue if you could even recycle bricks- Surely you could crush them up in to tiny pieces and reuse them as gravel or something like that? She hated running on gravel, but, if it meant saving the environment, it would be all good.

But to say the truth she had never really been an eco-warrior. She had known people who were pretty tight about things like recycling paper and things at home but she didn’t bother really- The village had already almost came to something that seemed like the end of the world with the war and to some, war had been the end of the world. But, apart from war she didn’t believe that anything could really destroy the world that they lived in. Some may say that it was a naive way of looking at things but then again it was better than worrying about every little thing, panicking over if you had placed paper in the plastics or the plastics in the paper- Worrying over such things was silly.

Geez though- That was really just her character, she did care about things of course, but she showed little support towards them but it didn’t mean that she was heartless- No, she was far from that. It was just she was so laid back, something which some of her academy friends had thought of as annoying. Even through the war she kept her cool head on and prevented from freaking out about things even as a child. When even her eldest brother had shed a tear or two because of the whole event she had been the one grinning all the way and making sure that they kept positive minds. The actions of their baby sister cheered them up, but it had been a bad time for everyone.

Being young at the time though, she could remember the devestation that had been, but she couldn’t remember all that much, the most she could remember about her home being destroyed was that a fire had begun somewhere on the first level and her brothers had told her to take but a few things before they would get out of the place, the fire soon enveloping the place –Although, the fire service had soon gotten to it to prevent any permanent damage to the home- Things had been restored, windows re-placed and paint re-coated, and it was soon looking fine, like she hoped to do using the houses that she was going to take care of today. The look upon their faces when they saw their completed houses were just priceless.

Then again looking around, perhaps she wouldn’t be designated to fixing the houses- another idea was that she could just be getting rid of the rubble around the place or helping to transport wheelbarrows of rubble around the village to designated areas where it was collected to be re-used or whatever happened to them upon collection. This job probably wouldn’t be that interesting but she’d be able to get a good look of the village when going around with it- She had seen people moving up and down her street with wheelbarrows full of rubble, but, she hadn’t really thought anything of it until today, really, when she figured she might be doing it. She just hoped that she was working inside a house- Interior design was one of her secret favourite things!

Approaching the area where she was meant to be starting up her eyes would soon come aquainted with the form of a young female- Only being a few years older than she was, although she was clad in usual shinobi gear, but with gloves, and an apron. Her clothes bore signs of dust from walking around, and it was easy to say that she was one of the most important people around here by the fact that she was holding a clipboard, and she also had a name tag. Approaching her she’d give the woman a slight bow, and would start introducing herself in order to get cleaning the place up. She hadn’t seen her before, and the male who had sorted out the mission last time didn’t seem too happy to be seeing Kaeor taking it- She this time, however, was on her own whilst doing it.

”I’m here to help clean up- Where can I start?” she’d ask in her usual polite tone, genuinely unsure of where exactly she was meant to be cleaning. She hadn’t been told upon being given the mission, and there was work to do all over the place really so it wouldn’t’ help asking her exactly where needed the most people to help clean up. Would she be working by herself, or would there be people there? Although shy at first she was someone who enjoyed having a chat, so she hoped that she wasn’t going to be with someone who would simply be quiet all the time- No matter who it was, she’d at least try to make some decent conversation to pass the time.

”Hey! There’s tons of work to do, thanks for signing up to the project, I hope that you do a great job!—Right. Over there” a pause would occur, as the woman would then point to what would appear to be a house, its windows shattered by some attack upon it, or perhaps having had some kind of explosive thrown in to it- It would of course, answer the questions as to why the windows were completely blown up, shards of glass sprinkled around the sides of the house. Her false crimson eyes eyeing the building and trying to imagine what had to be done, her questions would be answered as the woman would speak once more, briefing her on the situation.

”This house was one of the first ones attacked during the war, although we’ve been working on it for a while now. A few exploding pouches were thrown inside, thus resulting in the glass being around the place here- As you can guess, the wallpaper is a little charred, although with a little love I’m sure it’ll be back to normal!” she’d tell her with a grin equal to the one that Areru herself sometimes wore when she was glad or happy. The woman of course, was no doubt happy that there were a few people helping out with the matter. Fixing the houses of course was important, and without houses, the brave shinobi of Kumogakure wouldn’t have places to sleep at night!

”Alright, I understand! I’ll get there now. Will there be anyone there that I can get help from if I need any?” Areru would ask her in a slightly sheepish manner. No doubt the sansutsomu would have if but a little bit of trouble whilst doing this all but she was sure that she’d be able to overcome it quite easily after learning what to do exactly. Upon looking towards the building once more she could make out a few figures inside cleaning away so they would probably be able to help her with things if she had any questions- They no doubt had done this for a few hours now, and probably knew what to do exactly, and knew if there were any jobs that needed to be done within the house. ”Of course- Inside the house you’re fixing up are Yon, Tagami and Jun”

With this told to her she’d nod her head after getting the names- Two females and a male, as the names suggested. ”Right, thank you!” the green haired girl would speak before then walking off towards the direction of the house. Upon closer examination it was easy to say that the windows themselves were newly fitted in, and from entering the room on the bottom floor, it seemed pretty well made up, although a girl and a boy years older than her were painting the eastern wall, making it seem nice once more and almost like the house hadn’t even been touched by the violent actions that had been spreading through the village by foreign shinobi. Upon entering her presence was instantly noted by those inside, as the girls would face her quickly, the male doing so but with less enthusiasm.

”Hey! We were told that someone was going to be working with us- It’s nice to meet you! I’m Tagami, and I’m the head painter! We’re almost done with this room y’know! Looks pretty neat doesn’t it? Although I chose a pink colour but Jun decided to make it blue- Sucks, huh?” she’d say in such a quick manner that at some points Areru wasn’t sure about what exactly she had said, but she would nonetheless nod her head to her, glad that she was being welcomed in such a nice way. ”Thank you- And, it does look quite nice now that it’s been re-done. It’s a pity that it was wrecked in such a way to start off with, though.” Areru would tell her, then turning her attention to the other two that were more hesitant to speak to the stranger than their apparent leader, Tagami, was.

”…….” ”Hey- I’m Yon. Thanks for signing up and all- This is Jun, my brother. He’s pretty quiet so it’d be pretty amazing if you get a conversation going with hi-” a nudge being given to Yon by Jun it would be apparent that he wasn’t too happy with what she had said, although the two simply fought with each other in a typical sibling way that Areru and her brothers were known to do, having play fights where of course, her brothers, weighing almost double the amount she was, won all the time, although sometimes to make fun of her they pretended to lose, bawling on the floor. It was those moments that she missed, although they did still do it to her sometimes, on a good day. She never stopped being the baby.

So- The three of them being quite interesting characters, she couldn’t help but wonder as to if she would be speaking to only a few of them during the day- From what she could tell she’d probably be hanging around with Yon as Jun seemed to be very quiet and wasn’t too fond of talking all that much judging by him right now, and Tagami seemed a bit too talkative for her liking. So, getting used to the three of them she’d nod her head, and would then remember each one from what they looked like, and their names, of course. She couldn’t’ help but ponder however, if Tagami was the ringleader of the whole thing- How did she become the so called leader anyway? She had probably been doing this for a while now, so perhaps she had been promoted or something? Who knows.

Looking over at Jun she would look at him as he’d stay as quiet as ever, just looking around the place for a minute or two before then going forwards and continuing to paint the wall that he was currently working on. The room itself looked almost brand new, as if it was a new house- it didn’t even look like the war had effected this house on the inside, although the upstairs was probably worse. The woman had said that they had been working on this house for a while now, so probably, they had been renovating this room for a while now. The windows were replaced in the whole house, but then again that was a basic need- Without windows, all sorts of things could come in to the house.

She had known a house down the street from hers which had been abandoned which the projects hadn’t yet gotten to, where she was pretty sure a family of pidgeons had begun to nest. Seeing the birds fly in through the broken windows was quite comical although she was sure that the inside was probably purtrid from all of the droppings that would collect there. With no doubt there would probably also be some rodents going about there. She hadn’t gone inside, but as a young girl she had always pondered whether such beasts lived inside. Too many times had her brothers made fun of her, saying an old crone lived inside who feasted on young girls.

But this house seemed pretty safe, or as far as she could tell from looking around it looked safe. The stars were also made up so that they could be climbed correctly without them breaking, and the doors had been replaced by new ones. Of course further in he house she could simply see a frame without a door, although the project probably hadn’t gotten that far yet- But it was no problem of course, because she was probably not going to be setting up doors today. She’d probably be given a basic job and then given a more challenging one later on, simply because she was new to the group of people that were currently working on this one here.

With the introductions sort out out of the way she’d go ahead and do it to herself so that they knew her name and all- It was only fair, seeing as she knew theirs. [color=993333”I’m Areru- and thank you! I’ll get to work upstairs then, right? What will I need to take with me?”[/color] she’d ask, looking to each one and wondering which one would answer her question, although she figured that it would be Tagami who would be answering. Without any surprise her guess would soon prove correct, as the black haired shinobi would walk towards the wall, picking up a few empty black bags and a dustpan, along with a grabby stick to pick sharp things up. ”Here you go! If you just start by cleaning up the rubble that’s around there, that’d be great! Thanks! I’ll send one of these guys up to keep you company soon.” she’d tell Areru with a parting grin, as she’d then move back to painting.

With a nod as her duty would be accepted she’d take the items she had been given, and would then walk upstairs on the creaky stairs which had been renovated a bit to prevent people from falling through, as then she’d be introduced to a room which was a little charred by the effects of the explosive pouches which had been thrown inside the room by the attackers. The wallpaper was singed and things wrecked but apart from that it was fine. Come to think about it the room was pretty small, or, at least was only one bedroom with what would appear to be an ene-suite- Or what one was was one of them- on the other side of the door on the west wall. Looking around at the floor and the glass, she’d nod her head, as she’d begin to work.

Squatting down she’d start with the dustpan as she’d collect the rubble, glass and dust that was on the floor in to the pan where she’d soon then empty it in to the black bag. So, she’d be doing this all day then, huh? Maybe if she did it quick enough and did good enough of a job, just maybe, she’d be able to get upgraded and maybe she’d start painting? She had painted in missions before and to say the least she had enjoyed it really so she couldn’t go against it all that much. Nodding her head to keep her morale up the sansutsomu would keep shovelling up random bits of rubble in the dustpan, following the same process of placing it in the black bag. No doubt it’d get just chucked in the bin, and it would only make he wonder how much rubble the village threw out every week. Surely, it was a lot.

But there wasn’t all that much to be concerned about- Or at least she shouldn’t be that concerned about it of course. Her only concern at the moment was whether or not she’d be able to get this rubble all cleaned up by the time that she was meant to finish. She was hoping so since although she didn’t really care whether her job was hard or anything, it was just tedious, and that’s what killed her, really. It was within her character to get bored quite easily, although she did her best to keep a brave face on and smile whilst doing it! She didn’t really find this work not fun of course, she did enjoy the good feeling she got from it- She was taking care of the community, after all!

..But this was getting boring now! Real boring.
Although, just a when she was going to scoop up another panfull of rubble to place in the black bin bag she would soon notice that someone was coming up the stairs. Dismissing this for a moment and placing the rubbish in the bag she would then after that turn her head towards the steps to see a great head of brown hair coming up- It was the other girl.. Yun.. Yon? Right. Yes- It was Yon. With a friendly smile directed at her Areru would after seeing her, continue to sweep up the place, removing any traces of glass that she could find near her area which could perhaps be hazardous to whomever journeyed upstairs, her quest to clear the floor was soon aided as the brown haired girl sat near her with items that were the same as hers.

Tagami had said that she would send a few people up, so it wasn’t as if she thought that she was doing a bad job- Or she hoped it wasn’t because of that, of course. Another panful would be placed in the durable black bag before Areru would tilt her head towards the girl as Yon would begin to speak to her- ”So, have you been to one of these cleanup projects before?” she’d ask, obviously trying to make conversation so that it was less awkward. The two had just met of course, so she knew nothing of who she was, how old she was, if she had any hobbies- Nothing. So it was a pretty basic starting point, really. They would start off from that sole question, and who knows? They might even turn out to be friends later on.

”No- I’ve done this once before although I was a little bit down the street. I was doing the mission with my friend and we were just sweeping up, really, like this.” Areru would tell the girl with a smile, signifying that she had already done work like this so she wasn’t all that much of a newbie as some may have thought of her to be, which she was pretty happy for since being the new girl was never really that great as people looked over you, trying to figure out what your character was like. Of course, Areru tried her best not to be prejudice towards some people, and although she wouldn’t voice her opinions, some people she did find quite entertaining to look at.

..Just the way that do things entertained her. Yon, Jun and Tagami didn’t seem to have any very defining quirks except for the fact that Tagami was queen bee, Jun seemed to be the silent but deadly type, and Yon was.. She couldn’t tell at the time being as she hadn’t spoken all that much to her, and she hadn’t exactly shown her her character yet. Of course, Tagami and Jun would probably turn out to be people unlike the idea that she had figured they were, but right now she was speaking to Yon, so it was her own character that Areru wanted to find out about at the moment. Continuing to clean up the room, she’d await her response, wondering if she had guessed wrong or not.

”Oh right- That’s cool! This is my first time, really. What happened on you first mission?”

A question would be posed to Areru from the brown haired girl, and she would be quite quick to answer, multitasking at the same time as she would be cleaning up whilst explaining to her what had happened upon her first mission cleaning up the village. ”We’d been designated to clean the living room of this one house- The guy who owned it was there too but he didn’t seem to happy to see my friend. I’m not exactly sure why, but he should have been thankful that we were doing work, right?” she’d shrug slightly, having not had been too sure as to how to take the rudeness of the man at the time of taking that mission. However, in response, and almost in an understanding tone, Yon would open her mouth once more to speak; ”The guy who owned this came over to start off with, though-”

”But I guess it’s just because they don’t’ want their house to be trashed again, so they like keeping a close eye on us. The guy who owned this left a hour or so ago, but he pops back and forth sometimes to make sure that we’re not breaking things.” the brunette would tell her with a smile added at the end, as she’d begin to clean like Areru was doing. Areru’s own hand movements mimicking that of the same process she had been doing for the past ten minutes or so now, it wouldn’t be too long until the area she was working on would be clean. With every scoop of the dust pan glass and rubble would be removed, and it would, slowly but surely, make the room safer to walk along in. No-one liked getting glass in their feet, after all!

She had been used to cleaning up at home- She did use a dustpan a lot of the time to clean up but she had never really cleaned a wrecked house before, bar the one that she had done with Kaeor days before. Her idea of cleaning was getting a can of polish out and a black bag and picking up any rubbish she could find at home, sorting out the bins- But then again her home was a bit neat anyway. It wasn’t exactly sparkling but it was organized mess. The living room seemed to document the life of the family ranging from births of children and to the death of her mother, but it was a nice place to be. She wasn’t too fond of being in places that bore modern details, making them seem cold and empty due to the futuristic style. It was awfully strange, and she hoped this place wouldn’t become one of them.

”Ahh, that’s understandable.” Areru would speak as her hands would sweep a few cracked pieces of glass in to the pan, rendering another hazard gone. ”I’m sure that he’d be very happy with the house in the end, though- Downstairs looks great.” with that having been said and the small area she had been cleaning now devoid of any mess, she’d tie the black bag and place it where she had just been working, on the glass-free floor, and would bring out another bag, opening it, and then she’d move over to another corner, ready to rid of whatever rubble that may stop her from working there. Squatting down, her back towards Yon, she’d keep talking to her, but just, without the whole eye contact thing going on. A few more sweeps would start as she’d move pieces of rock and devastation in to the pan, and the work would begin once more.

”Yeah, it looks pretty neat doesn’t it? Tagami has been working real hard at the walls- It looks really nice with a good lick of paint.” As another reference to their leader, Tagami, was said, she’d grin and nod her head to her. Truth was it really did look very nice with a new coat of paint, and Areru was quite glad that such a project did exist, but more importantly, that there were people who were happy, as was she, to help restore the destroyed houses. The people within the house at the moment came from way different backgrounds and different personalities, but they still banded together in order to sort out the house- It was quite moving, really. But, Areru wasn’t all that soppy, although she figured that it might have touched someone that was.

It was just pretty interesting to see how exactly the house was shaped back to normal after the blast. Downstairs they had worked first because naturally, it was the first place that someone would enter the house, and entering to get your feet stabbed by little pieces of glass wasn’t the best way to make an entrance. The other rooms would be done secondarily, moving up from the living room that bore a staircase, to the rooms that joined to it, may it be upstairs where she was at the moment, or downstairs. It hadn’t mattered, but as long as she got the place looking nice, she was sure that Tagami wouldn’t give her a telling off- If she would, Areru would be more than happy to dismiss it- She was cool like that.

”It does, are we going to paint this room too later?” she’d ask curiously, wondering if she was up for some painting work today. If she was, it would be interesting, but she wouldn’t complain if all she was going to do was sweep the floor of the glass and pieces of wood that were all around the place. ”Of course- As long as Tagami can sort out the walls for us first. I’m sure you’d rather paint than do this yeah?” Yon would give her a question, and Areru could but respond to her with a nod and a grin. It was true- She had just seen so many pieces of glass now, and it had begun to slowly melt her sanity- Well, not really, but it sure did feel like that!

So, with the idea that she might be ranked up and aid Tagami with the painting, it would simply fuel her desire to get the room cleaned as fast as possible. Her arms would move around quite frantically now although elegant in a way, collecting up dust, glass and pieces of rock or wood with the pan, dispersing them in the black bin bag that she had been given. Yon and Areru had, actually, done quite a nice job on the place, just it wasn’t all that easy to say since the rest of the room was a bit eugh. Otherwise, the floors were looking pretty nice- Were they going to get new flooring down? Probably, seeing as there were burn marks on this carpet. With the answer pondered over, she’d keep working.

About ten minutes past full of conversation about the house and what they were planning to do, it wasn’t long until the floor of the small room they were cleaning was cleaned, all of the glass from the windows having been placed in black bags. No doubt there wouldn’t need to sort out the bathroom all too much since it hadn’t looked like it had been wrecked by the blast or by the attacks from what she could see, it had been just this room upstairs which had gotten the brunt of it. However, they would probably go in and check later on, just to make sure. They didn’t want the guy to come back and see his house, only to see that his bathroom was.. of questionable cleanliness.

With Yon and Areru now getting to their feet after cleaning the floor, it now being quite spotless, Areru would place the sweeper in the dustpan, and would then walk downstairs with the two black bags that she had cleaned, walking through the living room, then dumping them near the front of the house where identical black bags were stacked up by other people who had been cleaning the house. With the two girls looking towards Tagami, the girl would turn and grin to the two; ”So you’re done yeah? That’s great! Right, what I need you to do now is sort out that room’s floor. Get your dustpans again girls because the work isn’t over yet!” the black haired kunoichi would tell them as Areru would sigh inwardly, before nodding her head and getting back to work with the dustban, getting another black bag.

So- Where were they going now? With Yon following her tail quite closely they would soon come in to the room that Tagami had told them to work at- It was the kitchen, and from looking around, there was quite some wreckage everywhere. The cabinets had their handles and even their covers stolen or destroyed, there being definite marks of there having been kunai shot in to them. It was obvious that this house had been under attack, but why this one? Had it been by chance, rendering the owner in trouble? Or had the owner himself provoked an attack? They might never know, and it was also best not to ask due to the fact that it might upset him or they might even get in trouble for it. So, getting her dustpan, she’d decide just to get working.

Squatting down in a corner, Yon would do the same, as she’d begin to sweep up the place after opening the black bag, she placing in bits of glass, wood and whatever she could find that could go in to the trash. ”I hope we do something else later- I’ve done this too many times!” Areru would tell the brunette with a slight joking manner in her tone- She had done it too many times, but she didn’t mind it. She would have just preferred a change of scene that might have made things a bit more interesting- Even if she was just moving furniture out of the house it would still be quite interesting, or if she was just painting the walls. Anything except for sweeping up bits of glass on the floor would be pretty desirable right now as a job.

But they only had this room to do, and who knows? Tagami might ask them to take over something. Looking in the other room, Jun seemed to be aiding Tagami in painting, although the two of them didn’t really talk from what she could see. His slightly greasy hair shined in the light that poured through the newly placed windows, it being quite a sunny day for Kumogakure. It wasn’t one of her favourite weather types but she didn’t mind- She was indoors anyway so it didn’t’ matter all that much. From what she could tell, Jun was older than Yon by perhaps a few years, although they shared similar features as far as genetics went- They were brother and sister, after all.

It would seem that they had the same hair colour, although his was slightly darker than hers had been, and their eyes, they being a kind of yellowish brown, were similar, if not the same. But it was these features which she also seemed to share with her own brothers- Beneath her crimson fakery she bore baby blue eyes that her brothers had, and two of her other brothers had the greenish hair that she had. However, the rest simply had her father’s brown hair, which was quite interesting since the majority of the Sansutsomu siblings seemed to interit the green hair gene that their mother had given to them, although the eyes, they each had. Her mother having had blue eyes too, it wouldn’t have mattered.

Her second eldest brother did have blue eyes, but they were of a deeper blue, almost like the sea itself. This trait was no doubt inherited from their mother, and he was pretty proud because of that, and it set him apart from his brothers and his sister in a little way- Not to say that he wanted to escape the conformity of the family, but he wanted something that made him stand out. Areru’s was easy- She was the only girl, and in a family full of boys, that was pretty interesting. But apart from that she guessed it was because of the fact that she chose to wear red contacts made her stand out, even when around the place with her family, which led people to think that she was adopted or something- But one look at her brothers with green hair, would leave them wondering.

So with these crimson eyes she’d go look back at Yon with a grin, almost saying We’ve just got the same job! before then going back to dusting up- As pieces of wood by the dozens were sweeped up and pieces of tile getting mixed up alongside them, she’d do quite a good job clearing up the tiles on the floor, although from the destruction it seemed that a few of them were lose, and a few had even come out- It was no doubt this room that would need the most work, as the countertops were ruined too and the cabinets. This project was no doubt a pricy thing, but with money raising ideas from the people who ran it, it was easy to get funds because all in all, most people liked to support each other in times of need such as these- It was nice seeing the community band together to help, really.

But from there on, there hadn’t been all that much conversation between Yon and Areru, sadly enough, and she had begun to get a bit bored. So, attempting to spark some talk between the two Areru would open her mouth, and speak the words; ”So, why did you choose to do this?” she’d ask, in relation to cleaning up- There had been so many other missions available but why had the brown haired girl chosen to do this mission itself? She had been wondering it for a while now- Not to suggest that only the insane took this as it was a pretty tedious mission to do when you had to do jobs as the two girls were doing now, but it was quite a hard one and it wasn’t really.. mission like to say the very least. It was more like just working as part of a project, almost like volunteering, but getting paid for it.

”Oh- I wanted to do it because my brother was in the project already and I needed to get some ryo in order to buy some things. And, I like the whole idea of cleaning up someone’s house so then they had live in it after it’s been made up again- They must feel really happy to have a home again, right?” Yon would tell Areru as the two would keep doing their duties in the room, sweeping up any bits of rubbish that they could possibly find. Areru’s own brothers hadn’t ever participated in such a charity-like project but then again they were the types of people who would favour going to the gym than doing so, and they were, truly, muscle-heads. Bound thick with it, they were quite hard to be pushed over.

”Oh, right! None of my brothers would ever do anything like this. I gues he’s in to charity work then?” Areru would ask her, wondering exactly what had made this young boy go forwards and volunteer rather than spend his days training or hanging around with friends- Just what made him want to do this? Was it the pay? She was quite interested in this question in particular although her own reason had been the pay- And the mission count itself. To attend the chuunins you needed to have done a certain amount of them, although having a few extra couldn’t hurt, right? It only made her look even more professional in the eyes of others who might be at the exams. Nodding her head, she’d then await an answer, sweeping up the bits of tiles.

”I’m not sure- He says that he likes to do the work but..” a pause would occur as then, Yon would move closer to Areru, leaning her mouth in to her ear, where she’d then whisper: ”I think he likes Tagami- It’s a guess, but I think he does you see? Look down he does all the work she does!” she’d tell her as Areru would smirk somewhat- So he was simply following her? It was quite cute really but she wasn’t sure if Tagami was interested in him. Nothing against the guy, but judging by Tagami, she figured that she went for muscle-bound guys like one of her brothers, not as lanky guy like Jun- But then again things like this worked strangely, right? You couldn’t place a certain label on love.

With a slight grin upon her face would Areru then go forwards to nod her head at what she had said, understanding a little bit. Continuing to sweep up the bits of rubbish that were on the floor using the pan and brush, she’d keep doing this for a few moments before turning her head to Yon once more. ”That’s adorable. You really think that?” she’d ask her in a curious manner as she’d then once saying that, keep sweeping up the glass and chips that were all over the place that were the remains of the attacks that had been on the house itself. It was going to take a good week or more to make sure that the house was alright as long as they worked at it day and night, but, once it was done it would probably be worth it.

As the brunette would then turn her head, having also been sweeping up as Areru had been doing, she’d then answer that had been posed by the sansutsomu. ”Of course- He’s been doing this for a while now and it’s always been with her! Weird, right? I really think so!” she’d tell Areru with genuine interest in it- Of course, who didn’t find curiosity in finding out who their siblings liked? As a teen she had pestered her brothers in who they fancied as so to say, and at times they had done the same to them too. They had always said that whoever she’d end up in a relationship with would have to be good for the part in their own eyes- Or they’ll gang attack them. That had been told many a time by them to her.

But it was just their way of looking after her of course- They didn’t want their baby sister going out with just anyone of course, they wanted to make sure that they would be able to look after her, and that they wouldn’t end up being a complete jerk. However, having so many brothers this also brought Areru with a great defence mechanism. If she had any problems with anything or anyone, her brothers could help easily may it be through peaceful means or by talking with fists. Either way they were happy to serve, and Areru, to say the least, was very happy that she had their protection- Not that she didn’t enjoy being independent, but she did like having her band of brothers look out for her in such a way.

Of course some may have said that it was almost claustrophobic how close they were, but she didn’t’ think of it that way- She simply found them to be kind in what they did, and she was ever so thankful because of that. ”Aw! Have you asked him about it?” the question would be asked as she’d keep cleaning up the room and moving the duster over the broken tiles, picking up bits of glass and broken countertop which were littered all over the floor, it almost looking as if it had practically rained rubbish down inside the room. Of course, the furniture had been taken out after they were destroyed, so the room was pretty bare except for the countertops and cabinets, which, in their own right, were also pretty messed up.

”Of course, I’ve done it a few times! But he keeps ignoring the question and changes it!” she’d tell her. Of course, Areru as a person, she wasn’t too fond of such girly conversations, but this had finally gotten the girl to speak and they were sort of having a discussion, so although she wasn’t too learned on the topic, she went ahead and spoke to her about it anyhow simply because she didn’t want to have no-one to speak to during the duration of her helping to clean up this place. She was more of a tomboy in her actions and sometimes in the way that she spoke, but this was purely inherited from her brothers, who she was incredibly close to. Having played amongst eachother as children, it was either play like a boy or nothing, really.

Not to say that she wasn’t all that popular in academy. Sure enough she did have friends, but her tomboyish attitude usually made her mostly friends with the boys. A funny thing had happened before in the past where she had started to become best friends with one of the most popular and sought after boys in the class- Their relation was merely best friends, but, the girls despised her for being so close to him. Of course she didn’t care at all whether they didn’t like her or not, as far as she was concerned they were just little witches. She would then go onwards to live her life not mattering if she had makeup on her face or if she had bugs crawling around her.

It was some of these traits which allowed her to do such a thing like doing this job and the past mission that she had done which required her to clean a broken restroom which had been wrecked by sewage. She wasn’t too fond of disgusting things but she didn’t let them stop her unlike some prissy shinobi who just wouldn’t do it if it included things like bugs, sewage, dirt or mud. Areru would gladly roll around in mud if it meant having fun. Shopping however- She did like it at times, but would rather be doing something else. ”Obviously he does then if he avoids the question- If he didn’t’ he’d simply face up to it, right?” the green haired girl would suggest, nodding her head as Yon would seem to agree with her.

Keeping her arms low on the floor as she’d ladle the pan full of grit and rubbish in to the black bin bag she’d watch as Yon would do the same, this place being almost clean as far as the rubbish on the floor went. They had been quite the team during this mission, which was for sure! Grinning to herself a little bit at the idea that she was almost done she’d then continue to work quite hard in her job at picking up the dust- Surely enough it didn’t seem like hard enough of a job but she lived with the hazard of potentially having bits of glass digging in to her skin, which was quite the risk! She didn’t care all that much however, and she had had it done to her in the past, so she knew how it felt, so no screams would probably happen.

Areru’s words towards Yon would soon be answered with a slight bob of her head. ”That’s what I was thinking- I’m not all that sure, though. I figure I’ll just let it wait and see what’s gong on.” she’d tell her as she’d then rise somewhat, Areru doing the same after she was finished with the area that she was currently cleaning up. They had done a fantastici job, and the floor was now clean. Not exactly spotless as the tiles were pretty grimy, butt here were no pieces of grit, dirt, glass or wood on the floor that could cause splinters or problems for the people who’d walk in the room. What was there to do next? Painting? Or more sweeping? Hoping it wasn’t the latter she’d mentally cross her fingers.

”Hey y’all, you guys done I see?” suddenly, as she least expected it, she’d hear Tagami enter the room, the black haired kunoichi look around the place and at every little part of the floor to see if there was any more to do. Without seeing any faults that needed to be pointing out she’d then nod her head and look at Yon and Areru, wondering what she was going to get them to do next. Of course, she wanted to keep the cleanest work for herself, so she was pondering what less-enjoyed jobs there were to do so that she didn’t have to get her hands dirty whilst cleaning this house. Of course she did like doing this work but only the nice jobs like painting- Yes, that was her speciality.

Things like cleaning the floors and taking rubble out of the house she wasn’t too fond of. Upon closer examination Areru would notice that she wasn’t of a stocky build, but she was quite well endowed as so to say, but she didn’t look as if she had done much menial work in her life before. Grinning somewhat she’d then turn to Yon. ”-Hey, Tagami. We’ll paint for you if you want, you go and have a break.” she’d tell the girl as Tagami would then grin in return, glad that she had suggested such an idea- She was famished, and could use a cup of tea to help her thirst. ”That’s a great idea- Thanks for suggesting it. I’ll be back in a bit! Jun will tell you what to do!” the peppy girl would tell them both, before suddenly disappearing out the door.

So, with this done, she and Yon would enter the living room and would place down their dustpans near the rest of the tools, bringing in the black bin bags whilst also doing so. So- They were going to paint, right? Nodding her head Areru would move towards where Jun was and where Tagami had been painting, taking up the brush that she had used, and would continue to paint the bit which Tagami had half finished. She would notice that Jun had his eyes on the brush for a few moments, before resuming his painting in silence. His strokes were quite good and artistic- He was quite good at this. Areru was good, but she wasn’t the best by far. Her strokes were nice, but, they just did enough to cover it, it wasn’t anything really that amazing.
