Sweat slowly dribbled down Lena's forehead as she stood in the middle of a large field- training ground number 4 - on the outskirts of Kumogakure no Sato. The sun beat down on her body and for once she considered removing her black jacket and she almost did several times, but decided not to at the last minute. She had been training for the past few hours to try and gain the next level of mastery on her technique. but every time she seemed right on the verge of achieving it, her technique would fail and she would be left frustrated. Since it was about mid-morning and she had been in the hot sun all day, she decided she was going to take a small lunch break, her stomach growling in distaste as she went to go do the jutsu the time before, she she decided she would make it happy and put some of her own good creations in it- who else would make it anyway? Not her brother, who had to be at work extremely early in the morning, as he was a medic-nin at the hospital.

Sitting down under a nearby tree, Lena nearly moaned as the coolness of the shade took over her body and she leaned back, allowing it to rest on the thick tree trunk. A few moments later her stomach growled in anger and she mumbled before opening her bag and bringing out a tuna fish sandwich- she had a taste for it and was glad it hadn't spoiled in the heat. The first bite, for Lena was always slow and careful as it was the most important one. She bit into the sandwich and once more nearly moaned as the lovely tuna taste reached her mouth. She devoured the rest of the sandwich quickly and went in for another one, eating that one even quicker before taking a large gulp of water, now ready to get back to training- Lena was determined to learn the jutsu before the day was out.

We were taught to mentor the next generation and prepare them for the Exams as well as adulthood. This was vital for a village to prosper as everyone's Will would be carried on to their very own students. On this evening, I found myself coming across a lone Genin training hard amongst the Training Grounds, particularly number four. There was a lone female who was hard at work and at this moment she would be taking her rest. Eating her sandwich, to most likely satisfy her hunger. It was then time for me to make strides towards her, and that I shall. My movement forth would come in her direction. There was nothing, but a void of coldness that seemed to envelop my being as I looked at her from behind the slits of my porcelain mask. Nothing, but a face devoid of emotion would grace her as she'll notice the Kumogakure symbol amongst the center of his mask. He was obviously apart of this village at least thats what she'll notice about me, but what would my motives be approaching this lone genin. With the distance closing no words would be said from me, as my Chuunin figure would continue decreasing the very gap before us. Her reaction could be a plethora of any, but at this moment the coldness of a Kaguya God would be pressing down upon her right now. That was until a voice would come from behind thy mask as I began to speak, “This is only the beginning...” I would leave her with that much to continue to seep into her mind. I sought to teach her more about the life behind anything she wished to know. My mind was clear, but her heart would soon be rewritten with my own hint of security that she would only get from me. Walking forth with the apathetic body language that only her eyes could sustain, but within this figure lurked someone who truly cared. My being was pure, but at the same time dutiful to Kumogakure. There would be personal gains along the way, but for this shinobi before me. I will bless her with my knowledge on this day. Now my words will reach her ears, “The beginning of life as a adult. Tell me what it is you wish to accomplish?” My words were meant to ask her what she's trying to achieve would she take it that way. There was only one way to find out. My mind stayed cleared and if she truly wanted to know who I was. She had noticed the cloud symbol on his mask far before he was close to her, as Lena had very good vision, though it was nothing akin to a doujutsu like the Sharingan or Byakugan. He had a cold aura about him and Lena wasn't exactly sure if she liked it or not- she would have to wait until the man got closer to her before she made her decision on that- anyways, it's not like she was going to base it off his appearance, right? He could be good on the inside... besides, he was in her village, so she doubted he would seriously harm her, unless he was like a spy or something, but then he probably wouldn't be messing with a silly little genin who was just trying to get her skills up for the upcoming chuunin exams. At his words, Lena raised her eyebrow. Ok, this guy was now seriously starting to freak her out.. she didn't know exactly what it was about him that was freaking her out, but it was something. When he asked her a question she bit her lip, not exactly sure if she should tell him or not. Her mind fought an internal battle, but finally she decided that no harm could really come from telling him what she was trying to do, so she spoke, "I'm trying to get my Doton jutsu stronger- specifically my Earth Dominion.. I keep on getting very close to going to the next level, but each time I almost reach it my chakra seems to not want to go any farther and actually retracts" she said, biting her lip as she looked at him. He seemed less scary now and almost... humane, though in a more chaotic sense. "Do you know Doton jutsu... can you help me?" she asked, giving him a small smile- why not make him feel welcome, ey? Especially since he would, if he was able to, teach her to use a jutsu she had been practicing a few days to try to achieve- this was unusual for Lena, as she had always learned the jutsu within a day or two, though they were a bit less complex than the one she was trying to learn, as Doton jutsu were her weakest point while her Kekkei Touta, shoton, was her strongest... she just hoped and prayed to Kami that this man would help her. "My name is Lena, by the way... Lena Kaiser" she said, extending her hand for him to shake.

Her reaction was well expected as my eyes continued to inspect the product before me. It seemed that my skills were needed to boost her very own. Lena seemed to have decided to dabble in the arts of Doton. The same art that I pride myself in. It seemed that asking me was the right choice in her decision, but was she sure that it was going to go as easy as she wanted it to. My mind pondered on the situation at hand that the Kunoichi would say to me. Awaiting her to finish, she would finish by introducing herself as Lena. I would merely bow my head towards her and with that. I would speak... “Lena...I am Namitsuki. Also you want me to help you with your Doton,” a smile would erupt behind that mask that hid his face. There was something about training someone that brought joy to my heart. My team was no where to be found, but surely I could see them carrying out their very own missions for the time being. After all I was in the field for quite some time, but alas I was home to be able to train them and prepare them for the Chuunin Exams. She would surely fit in my team, but it seems someone had her on the list already and felt that my prowess with Kaguya could benefit another of the same bloodline. Standing there for a moment as I begin to look for the right choice in teaching this young lady. It became apparently clear that demonstration and a understanding of where she's at now would be needed. With that being said I would be ready to ask her one more question. Not sure if she knew what she was doing or any of the techniques at all, but it was in his duty as a Chuunin of Kumogakure to help those that needed it. My eyes rose towards the skies and would fall back to her after a lone cloud would drift away from us, but a moment I would place my hand upon her shoulder. You could tell by the way my hand landed upon her shoulder it was warm. Showing a sense of security and trust that she could possibly implement in thy self, “Well lets begin shall we? First, I would like to see what you got so far. Please proceed and we will go from there, but remember this one rule. We walk upon Earth, and you want the very Doton around us to become one with yourself. Almost an extension of one's self. Remember that. As he introduced himself, she smiled at him once more. "It's nice to meet you, Namitsuki" she stated, offering him one of her normal white smilies- Lena liked to smile often, even when she was angry- putting on a fake smile was easy for her, though the smile she gave Namitsuki was genuine, as she hoped he would be able to help her with her weak doton jutsu in time for the upcoming chuunin exams... she had to start working on medical jutsu, so she really needed to get learning this out of the way, though it was proving to be a very stubborn jutsu for her to learn. When he said they would begin, a huge smile erupted onto Lena's face. "Thank you so much! my own sensei isn't good with doton jutsu, so this is really helpful for me, thank you Namitsuki-sama" she stated, the bright grin still on her face. At his request she stepped foreward and onto the ground. She took a deep breath and concentrated on the earth around her before making a few hand signs and sending her chakra through the earth, trying to see how far she could take it. It easily went 10 meters and then began going up a bit more slowly. Lena tried to focus more on the earth and send it farther, but as soon as it reached 15 meters it would go no further and retracted. "FUCK!" Lena growled, punching the earth hard. Why wouldn't this freaking jutsu work. "Sorry, sensei... this technique just won't work! it goes 15 meters and than just stops.. it's supposed to go at least 20!" she said, growing in frustration. She just wanted to learn the jutsu and get it over with. "Can you explain to me why it won't go any further, sensei? I'm trying to put my all into the jutsu because I want to become strong one day, just like Raikage-sama" the girl said, giving him a broad grin. It would seem like Lena was bipolar, as her personality had quickly gone from being angry to being very sweet in a matter of seconds, but that was only because she had not wanted him to see her moment of weakness- she usually didn't get that angry.

Season's change and other people stay the same, but amongst this very field this young girl was trying to blossom like flowers in the spring. Her only obstacle was none other than the Doton before her, but that would be fine. For I was here to assist her and aid in her training to help step her game up. It wasn't too much I knew, but as far as elemental releases go. This is my best one. So with that said her Earth Dominion was definitely seeking a little help, but with her precise skills it seemed she had a good enough knowledge in her extension. Albeit, she was missing one key ingredient throughout the whole entire thing. That was becoming one with Doton aka Nature itself. First mental note that would be recorded in my mind before I would bring it up to her. My eyes fixated on the effort that she would put forth and it brought a calming sensation over one's body. That was when another one of my questions would find her ear, “Do you have a idea what you did wrong...” Was there anything else that needed to be said? Not in my mind there wasn't. For the the simple fact that a battle is only waged at the heart and at this very point it would seem we were just getting started. My heart aimed for the very prized possession of satisfaction. The satisfaction of taking a young Genin and showing them the ropes of attaining a better understanding of the element of choice they sought. With the main spices laid about on the ground and her mouth going from kind to sweet to piss off. It showed a lot of promise and reminded me of myself. Eyes piercing through the slits of my mask as I gave a feint smile underneath. Then I would place my hand upon her head once more giving her a light pat. There was more that needed to be handled and with that her jutsu training was slightly off. Taking it upon myself I would walk in front of her. Kneel down and take my hand and place it amongst the soil beneath us. I began to allow my chakra to pour from my being and out onto the doton about me. It seemed as though one would begin to notice the true form that was going about the area. My being was beginning to become one with the very earth around me. It was as I told her. It would all be in the mind and dedication to improving one's self that it would help her become stronger. This was the beginning stages of it all and within every cell in my body, I would push myself harder and harder. She would begin to understand without words, but now I will grant her a true knowledge installment, “Sit down and begin to meditate. There do not get frustrated cause the more agitated you are, the harder its going to get. You need to focus it all in one spot and continue to do so, but while your chakra is emanating outwards imagine its all being forced into a sphere. Better late than never right? Strolling into the training grounds was none other than Shinori, obviously he was far from the first person to arrive, already taking note of other genin exerting themselves in hopes of mastering those techniques that had eluded them for so long, course that mattered little to him at the moment. His prominent intention was actually to train per say, but simply meet up with his sensei, Namitsuki. Needless to say he was probably being emo and showing off for the little kids that came to spectate.

"We could be off doing something exciting right now." A sigh escaping the folds of his lips behind his less than excited statement, the genin still searching for his commander, of course it wouldn't take long to find the big bag of bones, but he didn't expect to see him with some girl, guess Nami was trying to be a good Samaritan today or something. Regardless of his reasoning he was here, which was all that really mattered.

"Having fun?"

When Lena saw the other boy she knew it was time to go. A blush etched itself across her face and she picked up her stuff. "Thanks for trying to train me, but I have to go" Lena stammered, almost tripping as she quickly headed off away from the pair.
