Hirihi had been dispatch by the hospital to help with the local problem of injured pets. Things ranging from broken limbs, poison, and sickness were what she was asked to take care of. For something as basic as this, she had no problem going out to help the civilians. She wasn't a veterinarian, no, but she could surely try. She'd been asked to practice on animals a lot, actually. Reviving fish, things like that. She hadn't ever touched a fish before, until she had worked with the medical staff, that is.
The receptionist had given her a list of peoples' housess to visit to tend to their wounded animals. First on the list, and the closest one, was a Doberman that had been unable to walk for a while. It had a broken leg, and since it hadn't been treated immediately, it was likely she would have to rebreak the bone, set it, and heal it. The idea of hurting something to heal it was not particularly interesting to her. She knew it was the only medically correct thing to do, though. Hopefully the owner would assume she was doing it on purpose for some kind of ill-placed pleasure in causing pain.
Walking up to the door, Hirihi would knock on the door and make sure that her medical badge was clasped in plain view on her chest. If her headband didn't give away that she was a shinobi, the medical ID on her chest would definitely alert them of why she was there. An elderly woman, gray hair wispy in the light wind, would open the door and smile up at the pink haired medic. "Are you hear to help my dear Rex?" The woman would ask, Hirihi nodding and her nose twitching similar to how a bunny's would just out of natural habit. "Where is Rex?" She would ask, the woman turning away and leading Hirihi into the house.
At the back corner of the house, curled up on a pillow and looking about as pitiful as ever, was a four-year old Doberman staring back at the pink haired medic with pleading eyes. Its leg didn't just appear to be broken. The leg itself was actually turned in a rather odd angle, jutting out at a 45 degree angle away from its spine. Hirihi felt her stomach cringe at the thought of what she was going to have to do. The woman would excuse herself, seeming the type to be squeamish in these particular situations. "Alright, let's get this over with, Rex." She said, walking over and kneeling beside the injured animal.
