Smiles so rarely grace their tender visage. Stories never grace their petite ears. You as a Kumogakure shinobi are tasked with bringing amusement and joy back into their hearts. Tell them wonderful and exciting stories. Play tag or any other childhood game you were brought up knowing. A smile a day will keep the doctor away.

'I can't believe that there are missions like this. Are there children who don't know how to play hide and seek!?' thought the female while she walked towards the kindergarten where she would teach the game to some of the children.
She knocked on the door; it did not take long until it was opened by a young man with orange hair. "I'm the shinobi you hired for the playtime mission. My name is Yukiko Fuyumori" said Yukiko and gave him a polite bow.

"Hm...you're quite young but that's a good thing. Come in Fuyumori-san" said the man and let her in. The kindergarten was large; it had several different rooms.
'Locker room for girls....locker room for guys....staff room...kitchen...eating room...napping room. I bet it's here' thought the girl when she saw the sign that said 'playing room'. The gingerhead entered the room with her in his heels.

"All right kids! This is Yukiko Fuyumori, who will be your teacher today. You guys are gonna learn a couple new games" said the man when they had entered the room.
A group of ten children ranging between the ages of four and six sat at the floor, looking at the new person. "Are you SURE I can make all of those kids listen to me!?" whispered the Genin.

"Don't worry. I will join in as well" said the ginger with a smile on his face. "Can we start playing now?" said a girl who was wearing a pink sweater.
"I think we can start with a game named 'tag'. It's very simple" said the female with a smile.

"One person will be the one who catches the others. When that person touches you, you have to stand on the spot until someone pats your shoulder.
When everyone is taken, the game is over" said the brunette. Tag was a fairly simple game that they should not have any problem playing. "Let's go out then!" said the young man.

All of the kids let out a 'yaaay!' before they went out to the locker rooms to get changed. The girl had to help two of the girls to tie their shoes, which was fine with her.
Everyone went out to the playground when they had changed their clothing. "Who will be the one that has to catch people?" asked the ginger. One of the boys with bright green hair raised his hand in the air with a smile on his face.

[Yuki-chan]

"OK Ichiro-kun. Come up here please" said the young man and gestured the greenette to come up to him. "Yes Makoto ojii-san" said the little boy as he walked up to him.
'So his name is Makoto...' thought the female as she looked at the young man. "You've understood the rules?" asked Makoto while he glanced at the child in front of him.

"Yes ojii-san. I have to touch people on the shoulder and they have to stand still" said the 5-year old. "Good. LET'S BEGIN!" said the adult before the all split up in different directions. Yukiko ran with a couple of girls who looked to be the youngest ones; they needed a bit more protection than the older ones.

"GOTCHA!" said the boy as he touched two boys with brown hair who had been cornered somehow at the swings. "WE NEED TO BE FREEED!" yelled the boy with short brown hair.
The girl sprinted towards the younger children since Ichiro was chasing someone who was quite far away from them. "You're free" said the Genin as she touched them at the shoulder. All three of them ran for their lives since the 'taker' boy had seen them.

Since the female was older, she was faster thanks to her longer legs. But it also meant that she was bigger and easier to catch than some of the smaller children at the playground. "This is fun!" said one of the girls who tried to avoid being caught.
The brunette could see Makoto smile; he was probably happy that the children thought that such a simple game was so fun to do. Suddenly, the girl realized that the 5-year old was right in front of her.

"GOT YOU!" said the boy before he jumped and touched her shoulder. "Kami..." muttered Yukiko while she rolled her eyes a little. She did not feel that proud of being caught by Makoto when she was twice his age and a shinobi.
But after a minute, she felt someone touch her shoulder. "You're free to go now aneki!" said the brunette she had freed earlier.

"Thanks kid!" said the female with a grin as she kept running. "Right, let's end it here guys. We have another game to learn" said Makoto just moments after the Genin had been released.
Some of the kids moaned, but gathered around the young man anyways. All of them wondered what game they would learn next.

[Yuki-chan]

"Do you have any suggestions for a new game Yukiko-chan?" asked the young man. "I think this will be a good time to learn a pretending game" said the female with a smile. "What is that?" asked one of the boys.
"I will explain to you guys. It's very simple" said Yukiko with a smile on her face. This was one of her favourite games.

"One person has to pretend to be something like an animal or pretend to have a certain job. Please remember to raise your hand before you speak. If you don't raise your hand, your answer won't count.
You also have to say if you're going to imitate a person or a job before you start. Anyone who wants to go first?" asked the girl with a big smile.

All of the children waved their hands into the air, wanting to be the first one to imitate something or someone. "You can go first Sumiko-chan" said Makoto while he pointed at a girl with black hair tied back in a ponytail.
Everyone sat down while the girl stood in front of all of them. "I'm going to imitate an animal" said the ink-haired female with a smile. She cleared her throat before she sat down on all fours and started to howl like something was injured.

Many of the children were confused, but the female had an idea of what animal it was when Sumiko prenteded to tear something apart. She raised her hand and the girl nodded towards her. "Is it a wolf?" asked the Genin before the girl nodded.
'What to take...I know' thought the girl before she picked up a nearby stick. She swished it through the air like it was a sword, imitating a samurai.

It was no surprise when almost all of the boys raised their hands in the air with an eager look on their faces. "You with the red sweater" said the brunette while she pointed towards a boy with a red sweater. "You're a pirate!" exclaimed the boy.
"No...but it's not far away. Anyone else?" asked the female before she positioned herself in a 'serious' samurai pose.

One of the girls raised her hand. "You with the dark blue jacket" said Yukiko as she pointed towards the girl. "Are you a samurai?" asked the girl with a somewhat shy voice. "That's the right answer. I tried to imitate a samurai" said the female with a smile before the girl took her place in the spotlight.

"Let's thank Yukiko-san for teaching us these fun games" said the oldest male present. "THANK YOU!" said the children and gave her a polite bow. "It's been fun. Bye everyone!" said the Genin with a smile before she left.
It had been fun to go back to the kindergarten and teach these children the games she knew, knowing that they would not disappear that fast.

description; One unfortunate disadvantage that Kumogakure no Sato extends is sometimes the jagged peaks drop rocks amongst the Kumogakure no Sato passageways. Sometimes they’re simple small rugged rocks and other times they’re promontory boulders. Sadly when the immeasurable boulders land on Kumogakure no Sato’s passageways it falls upon the Kumogakure shinobi to clear the avenue. With the war ending there are a large amount of pathways that need clearing, unfortunately. So go clear those streets.

It was time to continue the next mission that the female had decided to take. This mission was about clearing blocked roads that were around the village's entrance. 'Good thing I have the explosion tags with me in case the boulders are too large for me to move' thought Yukiko as she walked at the large pathway where she would be working.
This was one of the main ways into the village, which meant that it was even more important to clear than the others. But what kind of rocks or stones would she find here?

She turned a corner; there was a lot of stones in various sizes that laid in the middle of the road just 10 feet away from her. 'I bet this is one of the smaller ones...' thought the girl as she jogged towards them.
She rolled up both of her sleeves before she lifted three of the stones at once. They were not that heavy but there was quite a few of them there. All three rocks were then laid in the ditch next to the pathway so they did not block it anymore.

A pair of black-clad feet jogged back to the stones before two small hands picked up four at once. These were a tad bit smaller than the other ones, which was why the Genin was able to take more of them this time.
All four stones ended up at the other ditch before it was time to return to the stones. There were perhaps six of them left or so. But all of them were bigger; the female doubted she could carry more than two at once this time.

'Gggggggh! This is HEAVY! I wish Atlas-senpai was here to help me a little' thought the brunette while she struggled to carry two of the stones over to the ditch. She had not seen him in almost a week....what was he up to anyways? 'Perhaps he's busy preparing himself to the exam like I am' thought the girl as she walked back to the dreaded stones.

She picked up another two; these two were at least twice the size of the smaller ones that had been carried earlier. Yukiko ran over to the ditch as fast as she could in order to not drop the heavy stones at her feet or at the ground.
Both stones then went into the ditch with a slightly heavy 'THUD'! The female walked over to the two remaining stones. These appeared to be the heaviest ones since they were wider than all of the other stones.

The Genin squatted and grabbed the biggest stone with both of her hands in order to get a very solid grip on it. She then stretched out her legs while her somewhat thin arms tried to hold the heavy item. Both of her legs moved towards the ditch as fast as possible while her fingers started to ache just a little bit.
After the rock had went into the ditch with a heavy 'THUM!' sound, it was time to get the other one. The second rock was lifted off the ground with slightly more ease, but how would the trip over to the ditch go?

[Yuki-chan]

'OH NO...' thought the female as she felt her small fingers starting to slip at the stone she hold in her hands. She immidiately took a step back in order to make sure that the rock did not land at her feet or anything like that.
The stone felt in the ground with a heavy 'THUD!' and almost seemed to mock Yukiko's strength. 'I knew I should have signed up for another mission' thought the girl while she scowled at the stone. But the ditch was only 6 feet away or so; perhaps it was another way to get it there?

'I cannot use my hands, that's for sure' thought the Genin while she looked down at her hands. All of her fingers were red and appeared to be rather sore after all the lifting she had done. An idea then appeared in her head...she could push the stone in the ditch with her feet!
Her right foot was placed on the stone before it tried to push the stone into the ditch with all the strength it had. It was not as hard as the female had though, which made her smile.

Her new idea had caused the stone to move about 2 feet forwards and her left foot pushed the stone as hard as she could. The stone was in the ditch a minute or two later; it was time to move on to see what other rocks that were causing a problem.
The brunette continued further on the road, passing a couple of merchants that had some bricks on their wagons. Perhaps they were on their way to the construction site to fix buildings? But she had another issue that needed some attention at the moment.

A somewhat big boulder that was about 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide blocked one of the paths that went to one of the nearby port cities. It must have fallen down recently since there were no people around at the moment.
'Where on earth should I get rid of that thing!?' thought the girl while she looked around. She saw a cliff and decided to check it out. It was 20 feet tall and there was a lot of boulders at the bottom.

'Hm...I cannot see a path near that. I suppose I have to get the rock over there somehow' thought Yukiko while she looked back at the boulder. She jogged back and decided to see how far she could push the rock with her own strength.
The female leaned at the boulder and pushed it towards the cliff with all her strength. It was not enough; the boulder would not move an inch away from its place.

Dark brown eyebrows knit in anger while the Genin tried to add her bodyweight in the pushing process as well. The boulder moved slightly and the girl pushed it as hard as she could until her body was too tired to move it any further.
'I suppose it's time to use explosives' thought the brunette while she looked around. She did not wanted anyone to be caught in the radius. The female attached three exploding tags at the boulder before she ran to seek cover.

[Yuki-chan]

A loud KA-BOOOM! went through the air; all of the explosion tags had went off in one go. The female looked up from the rock she had hid herself behind to see what had happened. Her explosion tag had caused all the big boulder to be reduced into several smaller stones.
She smiled when she saw that all of them were in a size that were not too hard to lift for here. A couple of the stones had been blown out of the path as well!

'I'll take the largest ones first' thought Yukiko as she studied the stones on the ground with her keen eyes. One of them was just slightly smaller than the largest stone that she had thrown into the ditch for ten minutes ago.
Her hands grabbed the stone with renewed vigor before she ran towards the cliff as fast as she could so she did not drop it. The stone was then threw down the cliff and landed somewhere between the larger boulders.

'I'm happy I get a lot of money for this mission. It's quite heavy work' thought the girl as she lifted the second largest stone there. Her feet hit the ground as she ran over to the cliff once more with the stone clutched in her hands.
It flied through the air before it hit rock bottom a couple seconds later. She then jogged over to the stones again; it was time to take the smaller ones.

The brunette picked up three stones that were all on the size of a large orange; they were noticably smaller than the others. She jogged over to the cliff before the rocks were threw down one by one. 'I don't think there are a lot left now' thought the female when she tried to decide the rocks that she would throw down next.
She picked up four that were on a size of a tennisball and moved over to the cliff as fast as she could. After these, there would only be some pebbles in various sizes that had to be removed from the path before she could call it a day.

All four rocks were thrown down the cliff; they hit the bottom with a 'TAC' sound that meant they had hit something hard. Yukiko ran back as she noticed some ominous clouds appear on the sky. She picked up as many pebbles as she could with her small hands before she went back to the 'throwing place'.
'I think I should be done after these are thrown' thought the girl while she picked up some new stones. A satisfied smile was on her face since this had been a hard day for her.

All of the pebbles were then carried over to the cliff before they were sent through the air. Ice blue optics saw them hit the rocks below and landed. 'Looks like I'm done for the day. I was told to clear up the route between Kumogakure and the path to Hi no Kuni. I better get home before someone sees me' thought the Genin and walked back to the village, looking for people that followed her.

The female was back at the construction site where she had to do the third mission in two days. 'I swear, I hope I'm done soon' thought Yukiko as she looked for the man who had hired her. "Hello, you must be the shinobi I hired for this mission" said a voice behind her. The girl turned around and saw a somewhat lanky man with moss green hair and brown eyes stand there. He hold a toolbox of some sort in his hands.

"My name is Taro Honda. I think a small person like you is perfect for some of the work that we have here" said Taro with a smile on his face. "What kind of work is that?" asked the Genin while she raised a taupe eyebrow in wonder.
"We are installing some air vents in that building over there. But we need someone to check if there are any holes in it or something" explained the adult.

"I'll check it. Who should I talk with?" asked the female with a polite voice. "The person who's in charge for that is a guy called Hayato. He has blue hair and is wearing a black overall with a spider on" said the greenette.
The brunette jogged over to the larger house; there was a number of guys there who did some sort of construction work.

Crystal eyes then saw a guy with black overalls that had a spider printed on the right hip. Some blue hair poked out from the black construction helmet he was wearing. "Are you Hayato?" asked the girl while she looked up at him.
The man turned around; he looked to be in his early 20's and had steel blue eyes. "Sorry kid, but this construction site is not a playground" said the adult.

"I'm here to help with the mission. Honda-san told me you needed help" explained Yukiko and showed him the mission slip she had been given at the tower. The bluenette read the slip before his eyes glanced at the headband that was tied around her forehead.
"Sorry about that. My name is Hayato Fujiyama and I suppose you are here to help us with the vents" said Hayato with a semi-polite voice.

"Yes" said the female before she was handed something that looked like a walkie-talkie. "Just climb up that ladder and go into the vents. Turn on that walkie-talkie and tell me if you see any holes, dents or anything that needs to be fixed" said the adult.
"Will do!" said the Genin before she climbed up the ladder that lead to the vents. The vents were not big; an adult man would not have a chance to fit in.

[Yuki-chan]

It was time to see if there was anything in here that needed to be fixed by the male outside. The female's eyes scanned the vents before they found a hole. Yukiko crept a bit closer to check if it was a big hole or if it was very small.
"I found a hole on the size of a golf ball Hayato-senpai" said the girl in the walkie talkie. "Can you see if there are any numbers written on the plate?" asked Hayato.

Ice blue optics looked at the metal to see if they could find what he had asked for. "Uhm...the closest number is 128" said the Genin. "Keep going" said the adult's voice. The female crept around for another four minutes before she saw something that looked a bit worrying.
"There is a cut in the metal that is about 5 inches long and 1/2 inch wide" said the brunette as she measured up the cut with her fingers.

"Is the cut so deep that you can see into the room? Please tell me that and the number" asked the bluenette. She closed an eye to see if she could see into the room, but the cut was not that deep.
"I cannot see into the room...the number on the metal is 66" said the girl while she shifted her body a little.

"I've written it down. Just climb to the other side of the vent and climb down. There's someone here who could use a hand" said the young man with a more clear voice than before. "I'll come over as fast as I can!" said Yukiko as she crept as fast as possible to the other side of the vent system. Fortunately, the distance to the other side was only 20 feet.

She wiggled a little before she managed to get out of the vent system. "Now, do you think you can go to the sports building over there? Honda-senpai told me that he had some work for you" said Hayato while he wrote something on a clipboard. "Yes senpai" said the female and jogged over to the said building. There were not as many people there, but the building was almost finished.

"Over here Fuyumori-chan!" yelled a familiar voice. She smiled as she ran over to the food wagon where the owner of the voice stood.
"We need someone light with good balance to tie up some wires inside. Just go over to those three and they'll tell you what to do" said the greenette. He then pointed towards some men who were on their way in with a large box.

[Yuki-chan]

She followed them into the gymnasium and one of the guys started to talk with her. "OK kid, we need a small person to tie these wires inside the gymnasium. We already have a plank that you can stand on and we will secure you with a safety rope.
So just stand still for a few moments while I tie you up" said the man, who had gray hair. He put a belt around her waist before he attached a rope in a metal ring that was located at the back of the belt.

Yukiko looked up, only to see some makeshift planks that were attached to some metal poles on each side of the long wall. "Just attach the wire in the same way as the first hook. It's not hard to do" said the adult.
"I'm ready" said the girl before the guys pulled her up towards the tiny platform on the metal pole that was close to them. She landed a few seconds later; it was time to do what the guys had asked her to do.

One of her feet was placed at the plank before a tiny creaking sound could be heard. 'No wonder they wanted someone light for this job' thought the Genin as she looked at the wire attached to the first hook. They had threaded the wire through it and it did not look that hard.
Her legs moved carefully towards the next hook, which was located about five feet away from where she was now. There were four hooks on the wall in total.

'Easy...don't panic' thought the female as she made her way over to the hook. She did not have a fear of heights, but falling down was not that comfortable despite having a security rope.
Her small hands threaded the wire through the hook before she moved on to the next one. This was six feet away and made the brunette let out a small groan in annoyance. She made her way over in a slow but steady pace.

It took a little more time to get over there but the girl was able to get the wire through a little faster. A smile appeared on her face when she discovered that the next hook was only four feet away.
Her legs made crab-steps in order to get over faster, which worked. The wire was threaded through the second last hook before it was time to move onto the next one. Hook number four was five feet away from Yukiko's current location.

Her small body moved a little slower while her hands were stretched out at each side in order to remain balanced. It was 15 feet down to the ground after all.
'Almost there...' thought the female before she lost her balance for a second. She flailed her hands and managed to stabilize herself. The wire was attached and the men got her back down; she was done here for the day.

description; Though Kumogakure no Sato is starting to thrive under Aburame Shouta’s leadership. Some of our inhabitants are still without food and water. The basic and daily essentials to survive, they’re lacking. So the Raikage has set up a program. This program is simple, each and every day during certain hours the Kumogakure no Sato shinobi serve the unlucky individuals of Kumogakure no Sato food. This simple and welcoming program is further helping our starving villagers. Hopefully they’ll get back upon their feet soon enough. So go Kumogakure no Sato shinobi, help the ones who are in dire need of help.

All of the sky was covered with pale gray clouds as the female made her way over to the food stand she was supposed to show up at. She had served food at the reconstruction mission with her senpai, but this was something different.
'I mean...this mission is all about serving food. But at least I know that I'll be doing something good for the village' thought Yukiko as she turned a corner. The next street would be the one where she would serve the food.

A sign that read 'Free food for homeless' was placed right next to something that looked like a restaurant of some sort. The girl entered the restaurant, but there were only two women there who weared chef uniforms.
"Uhm...I'm the shinobi who's supposed to help you today. My name is Yukiko Fuyumori" said the Genin before she gave both of them a polite bow. "Good; my name is Arisu Kiyomizu and this is my assistant Emi Yamaguchi" said Arisu.

"We will serve food for the people who got their houses destroyed in the storm last week. Your first job is to chop up carrots in the back. They have to be chopped into slices that can't be bigger than an inch. You have to wear this" said Emi before she handed her a white apron with a matching small hat. The small female put on the said clothes and went into the kitchen together with the women to see how it looked like in there.

Her eyes widened when she saw just how LARGE this kitchen was. It had three stoves with cooking plates, two sinks with a showerhead to wash the dishes, two microwaves and lots of utensils.
"The owner of the restaurant borrowed us the kitchen for the week. Your carrots are over there; the shinobi's that worked her earlier today peeled them. There is a knife and plate that you can use next to the large kettle" said the woman.

"No way..." muttered the brunette when she saw that there were ten large carrots that had to be cut up. "When you are done with that, you can help me with the dessert" said the other woman.
"Right" said the girl as she started to cut up the carrots that laid next to the cutting board. She tried to cut up the carrot in pieces that was less than an inch wide. Yukiko was careful so she did not cut her finger or hand.

None of the women complained on her speed since it was more than an hour until the restaurant would open. There were not that many people that lived in this district either.
"Good job on the carrot. Just put it in here" said the brunette while she pointed at the kettle. The small female took fistfuls of carrot pieces before she threw them in the hot water.

[Yuki-chan]

Small splashing noises could be heard as the pieces of carrot sunk into the boiling water where some other vegetables laid. The female started on the second carrot while the middle female started to prepare a large mug of coffee for the adults.
"What's that disgusting smell?" asked Yukiko as she chopped up the last parts on the second carrot. "It's just the coffee Yukiko-chan" replied the older woman. She was currently stirring something that looked like a vegetable miso soup.

"Ew" muttered the girl while the other two chefs let out a small giggle when the saw their helper's response. She put the second carrot before she started on the third one. The Genin was able to cut it up a little faster since she now had gotten the hang of it, all though the pieces were a bit uneven in size. "Could you come over here please? I need help with the recipe" said the female when the last carrot had been chopped up.

The female walked over to her, curious about what the next assignment would be. "I need you to break up these two chocolates. Don't eat anything; I might give you a piece of the finished result if you are patient" said Emi with a small smile on her face.
There were two somewhat big plates of chocolate that laid next to a bowl that seemed to contained a mix of egg and sugar. Somewhat thin fingers started to break up the chocolate while the brunette tried to not eat any of it.

'At least this is more fun that peeling carrots' thought the girl as she broke up the chocolate in pieces. A few minutes later, all of the chocolate had literally been broken to pieces by Yukiko.
"Good job Yukiko-chan. Keep an eye on the water in that kettle over there. When it starts to boil, you can put five spoons of that tea powder in it" said the woman.

"Do you have a spoon?" asked the female when she noticed that there was no spoon in the box with tea powder. "Here you go" said Arisu before she handed her a spoon.
The Genin put her finger into the water, but pulled it back right away when she noticed how hot the water was. It would not be long until it had reached the boiling point. The tea powder was black...it was without doubt black tea.

Crystal optics kept an eye on the water while the other two women started to put the finishing touches on the food. 'Looks like it's time to put in the black tea powder!' thought the girl when some small bubbles started to reach the surface.
She poured five spoons of the tea powder into the boiling water and saw it mix. 'This smells ten times better than the coffee. I can't believe adults drink that crap' thought the brunette as she stirred the hot water with the spoon.

[Yuki-chan]

"Could you please turn down the plate to three before you help us with the kettle? We need three people to carry it out" said the older woman. The female tried to find the knot for the plate and turned it down once she found it. She walked towards the other two, who were carrying the handles on the kettle.
"Just put on those oven mittens before you touch it" said the younger woman and nodded her head towards two large, yellow oven mittens.

Yukiko put on the said mittens before the three women carried the soup out to the counter. Some people had already started to queue up; all of them were adults. "Yukiko-chan, could you please go in and get some cups that are standing next to the tea kettles?" asked Arisu while she poured some soup to one of the adults.
"Yes" said the girl before she darted back into the kitchen. Her eyes scanned the kitchen for tea kettles and spotted some large stacks of paper cups.

She grabbed one stack before she made her way back to the serving room where the older woman waited for her. "Here are the cups" said the Genin with a somewhat tired voice; this was a busy job. "Thanks. Just place them there" said the brunette while she gestured towards a large cardboard box labeled 'eating supplies'. The female nodded and placed the stack of paper cups next to the place the older female had pointed at.

"Can you please come in here for a moment? I need some help with cutting up the dessert" said Emi, who was on her way in after throwing something in the trash outside.
The brunette followed her in; she had to admit that she was curious to see what the dessert was. It turned out to be two chocolate cakes that contained small pieces of orange in them. "Now, take this knife before you cut up the same way I do" said the woman.

It was a case of monkey see monkey do; Emi cut the cake in three diagonally first. The girl did the same and tried to be precise when it came to the size of each piece.
The older woman then cut the cake in five pieces horizontally while Yukiko tried to do the same. "Not bad Yukiko-chan. You can take one piece of cake and give me your apron and hat" said Emi.

"Thanks senpai!" said the female. She removed the clothing she had borrowed and handed them back to the woman. The Genin took one piece of cake before she walked back to the Raikage tower.
It had been two busy days, but she could at least focus on her training now. Which was a must since the exams came up soon...but she had to talk with her senpai first.
