description; It’s tough to find a babysitter in Kumogakure no Sato. The offices of Kumogakure no Sato has gotten that complaint several times. Sadly, we can’t encourage our non shinobi Kumogakure young adults to take up babysitting as a part time job. Which means there is really only one solution on getting more babysitters within’ Kumogakure no Sato. We give the task to our ever endearing shinobi. That’s right; we’re asking our newly appointed Genin to take up this task. Watch a Kumogakure adult’s baby while that adult or couple go out enjoying their time once in a blue moon. Have fun changing diapers.

Hirihi strolled on down the street of the residential district of Kumogakure. She was accustomed to working for the residents. She catered mostly to those that were in the ninja profession, but she had taken her fair share of missions to take care of the citizens. With that in mind, she had decided that her skills would be best used in taking care of a single mother's child. The mother worked two jobs to get up the money to maintain their residence, but it was getting exceedingly difficult to take care of the child on those nights when she was getting a day-off.

To help alleviate some of the stress away from her two full-time jobs, the woman had asked the Kage to commission babysitters among the new Genin. The pink haired shinobi walked down a street and kept her eye on the time. It was getting especially close to when she was needing to be there. Locating the small two bedroom home, Hirihi walked up to the door and lightly knocked against it. Within seconds of her knocking, a black haired woman opened the door. She had slightly tanned skin, brown eyes, and was dressed for what appeared to be a party.

"You are Hirihi?" The woman asked, Hirihi only giving her a nod. She would lightly tap the ninja headband that was around her neck, giving the woman the reassurance that she was a ninja that was not to be feared. When the woman breathed a sigh of relief, Hirihi would step past her as she would begin to take inventory of the home. Lightly furnished, wooden floors, and a lot of room to move around. "I'm glad you could make it. My friend is throwing me a baby shower, and I had to be there." She said, Hirihi holding her comments to herself. Two jobs and the woman was managing to find time to have another child? She was asking to die an early death from stress and fatigue.

"It's not a problem. So, where is Claire?" Hirihi asked, the mother nodding and leading her to the back where a sleeping child lay on her stomach. Claire was half-asleep, and Hirihi was thankful for this. She wanted to spend as little time with the child as she could manage. The easier the mission, the more reward she would feel at the payment. "She's darling. So, is she allergic to anything in particular?" Hirihi asked, the woman immediately beginning to go over everything that she could possibly remember. She had a lot of information to share, and she had little time to do it in.

Hirihi was thankful once the woman had finished everything that she had felt was important to bring up. Somehow, though, she didn't feel the importance of something as stupid as a child's birthday and birth stone. She especially didn't see the importance of knowing that the child had taken 20 hours to birth. Unnecessary information, but she didn't want to interrupt the woman. The last thing she needed was a complaint from the Kage on her treatment towards the civilians of the village. Seeing the woman off at the door, Hirihi would close the door as quietly as she could manage. Taking a seat on the cushioned mat in the living room area, she sat and closed her eyes.

As she sat like this, she paid attention to the noises of the house, the sounds outside, and tried to discern the important information from what she assumed would not be necessary. It wasn't a hard task to do. The child was still breast feeding, so she had some bottles in the refrigerator. She had just gotten over a cold, so it was likely she was be a bit irritable. The basics that any babysitter should know about a child. Her thoughts were interrupted as poor Claire would begin to stir and cry in the bedroom. Standing up, Hirihi walked down the hallway and into the bedroom where Claire lay fussing.

Leaning over the crib, Hirihi was able to get a much closer glance at the child. Claire was a beautiful child, and she had the same black hair as her mother. Her eyes must have came from her father, though, as she had deep blue eyes that were hard to look away from. Picking up the little girl, she held her against her shoulder and lightly rocked her as Hirihi walked out of the small bedroom. "Fussy little thing." She said, grinning as she walked her into the kitchen. Grabbing a bottle from the refrigerator, she set it on the counter and repositioned the fussing Claire in her arms so that it would be easier to feed her. "Shhh, don't worry. I'll get it in a second." Hirihi said, Claire quieting a bit as she would be spoken directly to.

Taking the bottle and positioning it near her mouth, Claire would reach out and grab hold of it, beginning to drink the milk and quiet down. Using her free hand to lightly hold the bottle as support, she would take a seat and keep the baby cradled in her arms. In this kind of a position, most girls would assume that this was something that they wanted. Hirihi found that this was NOT the lifestyle that she would choose for herself. It was probably why she didn't find any interest in a lot of the men she had worked along side on missions. Her father didn't help her anxiety much, though, always reminding her that there were always complications in a marriage, as well as in child birth. It was how she had lost her mother, after all.

Following shortly after the bottle being empty, Claire would begin to fuss even more. This particular fussing was from obvious discomfort as Hirihi could smell the obvious discomfort to the child. Putrid little things. Sighing, Hirihi realized that the woman hadn't told her where any of the supplies for this kind of instance was at. Groaning, she held the smelly Claire as she walked to the back bedroom and looked through the baby's room for wipes and fresh diapers. After looking for a few minutes, she would succeed. She would also find a rather handy changing table. Laying Claire on the table, careful not to leave her there unattended, she moved fast to get her into a clean diaper.

In all of her time working in the hospital, she had spent little time with babies. She knew how to take care of them, yes, but she was never asked to be a nurse for them. Her specialty was with healing hurt medics. It was what she had aspired to be. With that in mind, Hirihi was still a bit inexperienced when it came to changing a diaper. She'd learned a little from her teacher at the hospital, but it wasn't something that she had paid a lot of attention to. Struggling a bit, she managed to get the dirty diaper off and quickly tossed into the nearby trash can. Wiping the mess away from her bottom, Hirihi tossed the wipes she used aside and began fitting those squirming legs into the diaper. After being changed, Claire was an angel to take care of. No more fussing and crying. She just crawled around the living room area and seemed like such a happy child.

The rest of the evening would pass without a lot of problems. Claire would end up passed out in Hirihi's arms as she had exhausted herself crawling around on the living room floor. Laying her back into her crib, checking to make sure she still had a clean diaper, Hirihi walked into the living room to find that her mother had come back. Had it already been four hours? It was hard to believe that the woman was back already. "I trust she wasn't too much trouble?" She asked, Hirihi shrugging her shoulders. "Nothing to report." She said, keeping the same business professional attitude. "Well, thank you." She said, giving her a polite smile as Hirihi walked towards the door. "Good luck with your second child." Hirihi said, not staying to talk to the woman as she fled the scene.

Lesson learned? Children are evil...
