▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
One of the last ones that she had to do at the current time-
And it was one where she needed to catch a dog. She had previously interacted with her friends dogs and so on so she wasn’t exactly unaccustomed to the canines but these dogs apparently had come straight from the vet and chances were, she had been told, they were ridden with fleas and rabies. She had heard before of groups of people who helped restore dogs back to their usual health after the war, as many were left with homes after their owners had to go off to fight or if they had been actually killed in the violence. Nonetheless, and no matter the background of the dogs in question, she had to sort at least one of them out and bring it back to the vet carefully- But with a village so expansive, where exactly could she start searching?
Sighing under her breath at the idea of walking around for ages trying to find one, her hand, which had past been clutching the mission slip, would place the piece of paper back in the handy pocket that she had on her skirt, as her red eyes would look about, trying to catch any sight of any dogs that she could potentially find lurking around the place. They were fast animals, and thankfully, she was quite fast too, but they had sharp teeth and the potential to infect her with a disease if she wasn’t careful- And the possibility of catching fleas. Such possibilities weren’t exactly to her favour but she was sure that she’d be fine and wouldn’t catch anything too bad that couldn’t get healed or sorted out in the hospital. But- How was she going to find this dog?
She had a picture of the mutt that she was supposed to find- It was a mixed breed, but looked more like a basset hound than anything with a long droopy face, and equally droopy ears which made the breed so definitive. Due to these charactaristics, she figured that it might be a bit easier to find it, but in a village full of people who had dogs, chances were there might be more than one basset hound searching the streets at the moment. But nevermind- She’d go do something fun later on that would balance out the work that she had done today- It wasn’t that she was lazy, she just loved relaxing. You would expect a girl who enjoyed such pastimes to have a larger frame but, she was quite small as far as that was concerned- But it didn’t prevent her from catching dogs!
So, walking along the streets of Kumogakure with the image of the dog in her left hand she would look around, watching as people went on with their day to day lives. The one good thing about this mission was that she got quite a nice sum of ryo at the end which would no doubt help her buy tools for the up and coming Chuunin exams that she hoped to attend- Of course, by then she’d need to practice her techniques quite a bit and learn more, or she would ultimately fail in the fighting round that she had heard of- And of course, dying in the Chuunin exams hadn’t been something that she was hoping would happen. She would like to live on to become a Chuunin, and perhaps thereafter become a jounin if her skill and Kage allowed it.
