name; barking mad!
rank; c
description; It seems some wild dogs broke out of the village vet and are terrorizing the village. The pack of four dogs were in the vets being treated for rabies, but have escaped and are on the loose. If anyone is bitten by the dogs then they could contract the disease, so it is of the most importance that the dogs are brought back into the custody of the vet clinic. Your mission is to capture the dogs (one dog per mission) and return them to the vet, but make sure you are not bitten, or any villagers.
reward; 40 experience, 500 ryo
minimum shinobi; one
mission status; three openings, credit vegapunk
The two shinobi walked down the boardwalk of one of Kumogakure's lesser known districts, a district on the brink of poverty and crime. The ramshackle, one story dwellings sprawled across this drab looking neighborhood were only separated by stretches of untamed grassy land and broken down buildings. Atlas didn't like it, walking past the poor with nothing to give and staring upon the destitution, but this was the last area where one of the four dogs had been seen. And a sighting given by the many witnesses they'd interviewed could not go unnoticed. Especially since the canine in question was carrying a deadly, and life threatening, disease. One that could be transferred through a simple bite. This was a dangerous mission indeed, but it had to be done.
It was early in the morning and Atlas yawned, always keeping a vigilant eye out for any sign of the dog's presence. "So, Yuki-chan. Where do you think we should start looking for this little dog of ours, hm?" He'd stuff his hands into his pockets and flex his neck. "Hmm... If I were a dog, where would i be...?" He'd muse out loud, looking up at the gray laden sky. All they really needed was to pick up the trail again- a footprint, visual evidence of its presence, a testimony, or another sighting- and he was sure the mission would continue on smoothly. But now, it felt like one of those times where luck came into play.
He also pondered the manner in which this dog was to be captured. He couldn't harm the poor beast, even if it attacked him ruthlessly, but he needed to find some way to sedate it, perhaps, or knock it out completely. Enough to last him an entire trip to the other side of town and towards the vet's establishment. He had yet to figure out some sort of jutsu that could render an opponent, in this case a rabies infested dog, unconscious. So he figured he'd probably have to use his fist, or borrow a net from one of the villagers, to knock it out. Preferably the latter option, however. He wanted to make this as easy as he could for little Yuki, seeing as she might be a little nervous upon undertaking the task- and with good reason.
