The mission was simple. Satomi had to go and feed the hungry in the local Kumogakure soup kitchen. Some would not regard this as much of a mission, or even a mission at all. The actual task itself was not ninja orientated in the slightest, a mere civilian of the street could do this task just as well as Satomi could. Community service or not the idea behind it was still important. The wars had affected everyone, some more so than others. Even though the village was in a stage of prosperity there were still certain individuals who are still without the bare necessities. There will always be people who are worse off, but after the war this number had increased, hence the need for lowly ranked ninja to help out. This was something Satomi didn't mind doing at all, he take this mission like any other.
As he walked down the street he turned the corner with the mission scroll in his hand. He pulled out his bag and with his head down he rummaged through it to find a fitting place to place the scroll for safe keeping. As he looked up he was only a few yards from the soup kitchen where his assistance was required. His mouth dropped slightly as he gazed at the line of people which stretched out the door down the side of the building. It looked as though it would be a long day as the eyes of the people in the queue quickly darted to his direction as he came closer. He wondered if they thought he was going to line up, it all seemed like a stressful process as two men began to push and shove each other.
Satomi quickly ran up to them "Hey, hey! what is the problem here? there is plenty food for everyone just be patient and calm!" he shouted. Both the men looked at him with a rough face but then suddenly calmed down. They looked at him as just another little punk kid, if it weren't for the ninja headband no grace or respect would have been given. Suddenly, a man came out the door to greet Satomi. He was a staff member in the kitchen. He man was red-dace and sweat slowly dripped down from the sides of his wide cap. He protested how busy they were and rushed Satomi inside to help.
