The first thing that Sakaki did after the acceptance of her second mission was locate an area she was allowed to paint, and then find someone who had some paint and brushes. She rode her way over to the closest location marked on the scroll, and then hunted about for somebody working. It was just her luck, too, because not a few minutes into her search, she found what appeared to be another Genin already working on a wall.
“Nn,” she uttered, announcing her presence. The blonde-haired kid took notice, and turned away from his work to find the small girl. She gave a warm smile as she held out her mission, hoping he’d get the picture. It would seem that he didn’t, as he gave her a quizzical look, but then she would point at the paint bucket, and then herself.
“Oh, you’re here to help with the painting,” he would ask. Sakaki responded with a simple nod, which earned her a raised eyebrow. Regardless, the boy would pull over one of the unopened cans of paint, quickly relinquishing it to the smaller shinobi. Sakaki hadn’t realized how heavy it was going to be, and nearly dropped it as she held it up. The boy noticed the fact, and decided to switch her the bucket of paint he’d been using, which already had a nice portion of paint missing.
“There ya go, this one shouldn’t be that bad for you.” Sakaki beamed up at him happily as he supplied her with a brush as well. She gave a small bow as thanks, and then zoomed off with her treasures, deciding to hit the next spot marked on her scroll, rather than take up the boy’s workspace. It wasn’t too difficult for her to navigate with this paint bucket, which she could carry easily enough.
