It was a beautiful day indeed as the suns flames elucidated everything within its scope. Its golden hues fell upon Kumogakure , providing a sheet of warm temperatures which had not been to hot, nor too cold. Within the midst of its beauty there walked a lone singular entity, one who'd incessantly hid himself under the guise of a simple shinobi, Kumo Jushou. He was one of many Kumogakure shinobi who had been trying to make a name for himself, but for what, for whom? Well, in Kumo's case, he wanted to be known for the sense of art in which he dedicated his entire life to and what better way to start than by spreading his knowledge of art amongst the youth, kumogakure's future.
Within minutes of barefooted travel Kumo finally arrived at the academy's training courtyard, greeted by what seemed to be a well organized class room, mostly populated by males. His eyes scanned across each face including the instructor who kindly welcomed him and led Kumo in front of the class. "Today students we have a special guest today. This is Kumo Jushou, a well trained shinobi who is an specialist in the genjutsu arts." Several faces sunk into the pit of shock as they couldn't believe that someone could be a 'specialist' in genjutsu, given the difficulty and level of concentration it comes with. A slight smirk peaked itself at the corner of Kumo's mouth, however, it was hidden from plain view due to the bandages that hid all forms of flesh below his eyes. "Well, without further ado, Kumo, you may take over" The primary instructor spoke, permitting Kumo's temporary take over.
Kumo gave a simple nod before turning to meet gazes with each and every graduate. "Well I'm positive most of you know the basic forms of jutsu so I'll spare you a boring speech and get to the exciting stuff. The class giggled at Kumo's comment, why wouldn't they, he was an artist in humor as well, he had to be. To Kumo he had to be an artist in every area be it humor, calligraphy, jutsu, speaking, and even walking, he applied art to it all.
"The eye is the organ of vision, and thus, the main instrument behind its function. Thus, through the eyes comes the sense of sight. When an illusion effectively alters that which you see and interpret with your eyes, it has sight altering capabilities. Ranging from odd visuals to horrifying visions, sight illusions aim to trick the opponent through their arguably most reliable sense, the one most humans use as their final form of validation regarding reality. In short, with this Illusionary Sense, you become your victim's eyes - make them see what you want them to see."
The kids drew themselves to the edges of their seats, interested in every word that seemed to spew from his lungs, ah! The beauty of art! "So here I'll show you a simple, but effective genjutsu. Remember you have to control your chakra perfectly and channel it into what you want to alter as an illusion." He clapped his palms together slowly at a speed where it wasn't too slow or fast. His fingers began to twist and turn, matching each other with perfect seals as his chakra flared throughout his body as 2 mist servant illusions of Kumo began to take form. The graduates looked on in amazement, well not all of them. Kumo allowed them enough time to contemplate upon the jutsu and what it looks like before bring forth the graduates one by one to perform the Mist servant technique. The graduates performed well as most of them were able to make at least one perfect mist servant.
"You have to understand that these aren't actual clones, just illusions, so when you first use them you have to make sure you capitalize on the opening. But Never, and i mean never use it openly and recklessly. You layer it." A girl that sat in the far back row rose her hand before she spoke, "What do you mean by layer it"
And Kumo simply responded...
"When I say 'layer' something it means to mislead, distracted, or occupy you opponents before deploying a genjutsu such as this one. It leaves them wide open for attacks should they be gullible enough to fall for it" As Kumo's words came to a creamy end, the aesthetic sensation of a hand gently cupping his shoulder alerted his sense, he looked back; it was a sign from the instructor stating that his time had been up. He looked to the class once more before taking his leave. "Well I hope all you Shinobi and Kunoichi have learned something today" And just like that he removed himself from the area. Mission Accomplished.
