While it is a non-lethal exercise, one shouldn't take this lightly as the police are serious about their training, and can injure the shinobi if they don't watch out! Objective: Take part in the scenario training exercises and give the officers a run for their money! PAY: 1,000 Ryo and 200 EXP. A darker shade of blue; It was late evening in Kusagakure. There weren’t many trees in this area, perhaps because this was cleared in previous years to be a walking path. Perhaps eight years old, this path was home of many travelers who were migrating from town to town and even on their way to Kusagakure in search of trade. While there were not many trees, this area was plentiful with hills. It was actually beautiful to walk through this portion of the country, especially this late in the evening. The light blue of early evening was no longer, and now the darker blue of night was creeping in. Tonight was told to be a full moon, and with the clear sky that would aid him in his search. These rumors of monsters were all nonsense. Who would actually believe such a tale, especially from drunks or injured travelers in shock? Not Akki, no, instead he was out here travelling a path rumored to be home of several of the so called attacks. Normally he would not even give a second thought to such things; however, if these creatures did exist then he did not want the Kusakage having to worry about such miniscule issues. This was something he would either disprove, or deal with himself. But really, who could possibly believe there would be grotesque creatures roaming around and injuring people during the night as the rumors would have you believe? Glancing down, he would notice the trash on the pathway. Once he returned to Kusagakure, he would request to go on cleaning duty. It was a shame that people would litter and attempt to blemish such a beautiful country as they do. If only they had more respect for the world around them, perhaps they would be treated better by the world around them. Sadly this was not always the case. Akki wondered if people were the same in other countries. The young man then stopped walking and simply stared at the ground. He realized this was the first time he had ever thought about another country. He would shake such thoughts out of his mind and continue his walking. He need not worry about other countries and their people. All he would require in this life as far as he was concerned was Kusagakure, and Ms. Blanch. As for now, he needed to figure out a way to find these monsters. He did not want to spend all night chasing ghosts, but then, if they existed he wanted to find them and get this over with as quickly as possible. But then, he had another reason for being here. It suddenly occurred to Akki that his mission would be located near here as well. He was supposed to aid the police in their new shinobi drills to help prepare them for future confrontations with shinobi. While it may not equip them to take on shinobi daily, or even to handle any shinboi that shows up in Kusagakure, it could very well save lives if they see how shinobi work first hand in a confrontation. After speaking with the chief of police they agreed on an ambush out here on this very path. This way, the officials could see how a shinobi would act when unprepared for their assault. Of course Akki would know the assault was coming, but then any shinobi would expect a confrontation at some point or another if they were on the wrong side of the law so it mattered not. What mattered is that he knew not when, where, nor how they would strike. This placed him in the same position that any other shinobi would be caught in. This would actually kill two birds with one stone so-to-speak. If there were no monsters here, the police would see that for themselves and be able to put people’s minds at ease. If there were some sort of creatures attacking travelers however, the police would also see the being and be able to report to the people about it and inform them on safety tips for traveling. “But then…” Thinking out loud to himself, Akki realized if there was an attack it would be both beneficial and dangerous to the police. While they would get excellent hands on experience if they were able to assist, if the opponent was strong he would have to try and make sure they were kept safe as well. This could be very troublesome indeed. Letting out a sigh he would hope such things would not come to fruition, if they did however, he knew he was prepared to do whatever it would take to bring down the creature and protect the police. He would grip his rapiers and march forward, focused and prepared. These were his duties as a shinobi, no, this was his way of the ninja as a Kusagakure nin, and he was willing to put his life on the line to save others and serve his village… All items and weapons as listed in bio are equipped and prepared.
