DESCRIPTION: It’s very much assumed that people do all kinds of things in their lives, and for many that thing is drugs and other illegal substances. Scandals about teenagers showing such worrisome behaviour has spiked somewhat in the village over the past few years, and because of that several sets of parents in the village are concerned about their children- They’ve changed their image, had new haircuts, begun hanging around with shady people and completely turned in to different people, and to keep tabs on them they’ve asked for people to keep a close eye on their sons and daughters and report back to them exactly what they’ve been doing and with whom. Of course- This change may be because of stress at home, or simply a new outlook on life, but some parents are sure that drugs are behind all of it..
OBJECTIVE: Spy on their children and report back to the parents what dubious behaviour they showed.. if any.
PAY: 1,000 Ryo and 200 EXP.

While watching other people have never been a major hobby per say, it was still something Kaku had done every so often, namely because of his rather large lack of confidence when it came to other people.
When you lacked the required forward thinking and acting attitude to actually attain attention in the public eye and hence strength some select few bonds, you tended to observe other people. Maybe because you were jealous of their own aptitude with others, maybe because seeing how other people interacted around each other interested you.
While not the most personalised activity around, one's reasons for doing it were there own. And unfortunately for Kaku, his own had been the more jealous then curious sort. Still, it should serve him quite nicely when it came to this particular brand on mission, whereupon he had been assigned to record the activities of a couples offspring.
A brother and sister apparently. To make things even more irritating was that there was a sever likelihood of the two being in different social circles, as was oft the habit with estranged siblings, attempting to distance each other by changing their very personalities.
Shrugging to himself, Kaku meandered down the road he was currently set on, a pair of orbs that belonged to his own person scanned the 'professional' analysis of their behaviour and potential location.
According to this, the sister didn't come home 'til very early in the morning, apparently acting increasingly ashamed of her situation according to the report, and she was avoiding her family as much as possible. In direct contrast to this was her brother, who seemed to be living life as normally as could be expected. He went to school, ducked out a couple of hours early and hung around with whatever crowd he had associated himself with before coming come in time for dinner and a row with his mother and father. Which did nothing to discourage the child from continuing his habits; the review of his profile mentioning that there was a sever chance that he was doing it out for attention instead of any other purpose.
There was no indication he was in any financial trouble, or taking an overdose of drugs. It seemed that the main issue was the potential for the usual list of pet peeves of the parents. From the Village's Review however, it said that the worst offensces that the gang was suspected of was public defamation. Aside from that, it was just another group of kids wandering around after dark.

So the sister was the one to look out for, apparently she was showing signs of having been taking drugs, there was suspected thievery from her family to pay off something or other. It appeared that the sister was the elder of the two, and that the actions regarding her brother were more of a overreaction due to his sister's habits.
Still, if he was to dissolve the affiliation, Kaku couldn't imagine it being a activity that would be allowed to be done peacefully in the slightest. In fact, a large amount of resistance to the concept was expected on his part, and he had no warrant to deal too much damage to the miscreants of the streets. Search and retrieval. It was recon with pick-up slapped onto the rear. Truthfully, he didn't have to do anything, but if Kaku could make the eventual solution easier rather then harder, and doing so wouldn't require him to go overly out of his way, that he saw no reason not to do so.
But away with such thoughts, he had reached the region where the Sister's gang was suspected to spend the majority of their available time.

A bridge. How..ironic? Appropriate? Whatever the word was, the fact that his quarry would be found beneath a bridge was slightly amusing as she was herself sitting on the crossing of life in a way. She had made a choice to go along with the daily activities of this group's scheduled. Or was it nightly? Nocturnal agenda? If the report was correct, apparently she was staying out late at night, coming home at a time when everyone else had learned to do the sensible thing and hit the sack.
So apparently the worthless chicka had a huge sleep debt chasing after her, with the fatigue sharks to boot. For Kaku, such an act was regarded as something of suicide, as he immensely enjoyed sleeping, being one of his more favourite acts. Shaking his head in puzzled bemusement, Kaku meandered around the bridge, his eyes taking note of a few key features that someone of his persuasion would be apt to do. Width of the bridge, general make, the usual really.

It was the sound of voices that tipped Kaku off to their arrival really. He was hunched next to a pole, his chakra seething around him like a living being, which was fairly close to the truth, as it was currently distorting his appearance to look like a hobo, camping like a proper hobo did on a bench, his eyes tucked away beneath a moth eaten woollen beanie, which sprouted tufts of blonde hair from it's various holes. His clothes were similarly worn and frayed at the edges, and from the casual nature of how the children acted, this was either a common sight or they were simply too drunk to care.
Judging by the swaying nature of how they were walking and the loud boisterous catcalls to the other people inhabiting the bridge (himself included) they did appear to all be thoroughly intoxicated, the smell certainly seemed to indicate something of that nature had been on their bodies.
Sighing to himself, Kaku allowed the group of teens to pass him by before rising up from his self imposed horizontal postion and trailed after then, his eyes narrowed in annoyance, as he stepped off the bridge he let the illusionary visage fall away and mingled in with a group of people who seemed to be going in roughly the same direction as his own crowd, judging by their condition and state of dress that was.

And so it was that Kaku found one the more explicit nightclubs within Kusa.

The music was loud and obnoxious, which was not to say that the volume itself was insignificant, quite the opposite in fact, it made his appendix want to fall off. Literally.
How people were dancing with the sheer quantity of sound washing over them without throwing up was beyond him.
Evidently what they boasted for sheer shock value was meant to hide the fact that they were all absolutely trash players who were barking up a tree with no real idea that cat had left already, which did tie into some of the themes they 'sang' about. Such as sadness, lost love, then there was suicide and some fairly profane poetical contemplation on how exactly we came into the world, and the manner in which he wanted others to come into the world. Which was as politely as the Farseer was going to put it for him.

I stood off to one corner, having effectively lost my mark in the swaying, grinding bodies and the storming optical effects from the many fires littered behind the walls. You could feel the heat if you pressed up against the stone masonry. But that was really neither here nor there unless you wanted to contemplate the possibility of burning down the institution, which HAD featured in his mindscape a few minutes ago.
Minus all the people. While there were quite a few ways in which Shinobi weren't as limited as normal people to accomplish their tasks, I imagined that mass murder in double or triple digits wouldn't go down well. Scratch that, running away from the village would be the proper response to doing something on that scale.

Yawning to myself, I took a seat near the door, pondering how best to get a better eye in on the goings ons within with crowd. Pondering the situation, I took a moment to take stock of the people who weren't dancing. Not anyone who would be in any way helpful to me.

Ah. There they were. Finally having broken off from the main group, they had started to trail off towards their original location, the damnable bridge that had sat at the start of the whole thing. However, apparently the phrase 'the night's still young' had been invented by this bunch of rowdy youths and they spent some time doing various recreational activties such as vomiting violently over the side, making out, telling wilder and wilder stories and overall being...young.
I stood a little ways off, subconciously having positioned myself within the shadow of a nearby building, but it didn't look like there was going to be much going on in the way of noticing a possibile pursuer, they looked far to drunk to be any th-
The blow almost caught me by surprise. Almost. But that wasn't enough for the lagger who had evidently decided to trail the group of youngsters, and given the age of the drunken man, there was a fair possibility that a evening chat hadn't been on his agenda.
Well, if that had been his original intention, the looming fist in his face was quickly erasing the older ones and dictating a whole new set of priorities that dealt with increased longevity of the current vessel of his DNA rather then generating new ones.
But maybe I was being harsh, there was a good chance that he had just been coming back from the same party and had been affected by the aura that seemed to make people inherently despise me.
The scar on my cheek was proof enough of my particular skill in getting under the skin of people who weren't really all that advisable to annoy if you were to make a list of them. Shrugging to myself, I felt no guilt whatsoever as my blow knocked the fellow backwards a step, his drunken roar however did attract some increased ire. And the attention of the other inhabitants of the bridge, who decided that a fight would be a really good idea, and promptly tried to cover the distance between my location and theirs, which wasn't really a good idea on either of our parts considering that -....

Why was I planning on fighting these children? Chances were that they would all be killed, either by each or me. Better to just retreat, as my presence seemed to be ramping the existing issues higher and higher.
Turning tail and fleeing hammered away at my dignity with every step I took, and the War-boss's incessant screaming in my ear didn't really help matters all that much either, but I had all the information I needed to formulate the required report, there was no real reason to stick around anymore.
