The introductions were regarded, and taken in. The young girl's was adequate, and in fact, the preferred response. Short, to the point. Then of course, there was the response from the other guy on the team. What was he, a child? Well... in fact, yes he was. They were both children, and yet the one that appeared to be the younger of the two seemed the more mature at first glance. This was his punishment for being forced to hang back from becoming a Chunin, much less a Jounin, as he should be at his age. And yet, wasn't being forced to wait for such tests punishment enough? It seemed the gods really had it out for him.
"Greetings. Kagami and Daichi. Got it." he muttered softly, quickly. It wasn't that he was anti-social, it was just his personality. Pointless delays, unimportant chatter, they were both hindrances to order. He was a man that needed order, craved order. Obsessive Compulsive, one might say, but he didn't necessarily agree to that. His eyes would then move back to regard the sensei of this group. The less dallying the better, to him. He just wanted to get on with this, and not spend any excess time fluttering around the point of his lateness, what he had 'missed out' on, and because of such, backtracking to points in the meeting that had been focused on before he got there. If they just moved on, he would be happy.
Daichi's mirth over his joke, was clearly not shared by Kenji, and this was reflected in Kenji's expression. This may make him appear to be crude and incapable of enjoying things often regarded as fun. He was perfectly capable of having fun, and enjoying himself. The problem was, of course, that they had differing ideas of fun. First and foremost, Kenji detested the loud and boisterous delivery of Daichi's idea of fun. That sort of antic could get one killed. Kagami's quieter delivery was more than acceptable, and while he would not display such visibly with something like, a smile, he still preferred her delivery, and would at least keep a glance on her for a moment longer than the gaze he gave Daichi.
His name had already been given, by Neru, and was at least recognized by Kagami, so Kenji saw no need to repeat his name. The greetings, in his mind, were taken care of, so now, he remained silent, and watchful of Neru, to see where this meeting would be headed next. He wouldn't even move, from his spot, he would just stand there, silently watching and waiting for the meeting to continue on.
