babies. They were something Muu both found fascinating, and hated for they always gave him funny looks and made odd smells. So needless to say he was reluctant to take this mission. Yet he knew it’d be good for him to learn more about his little squishy enemy. HE had finally recovered after a day and a half of strict rest and medical treatment form himself, and was finally back to his old crazy odd self.

However as he approached the house where the client lived, Muu began to feel like he were walking up to Miss Masumi’s house again. From a distance it had looked big, but as he approached, it’s size was just ridiculous. Who would ever need to live in a place such as this? He had been let in through the large metal gates after a quick security check and was now standing at the foot of the stairs leading o the front door.

Yup, this was going to be one of those interesting nights….

Mission Start

BABYSIT THE RICH BRATS
RANK: C
DESCRIPTION: Who said babysitting was easy? It's not that these kids are babies exactly, but their attitude might as well be matching with the name. Rich and spoilt brats, these three children betwen the ages of seven and thirteen known nothing to do with manners or rules. Being able to do everything they wanted and given everything at a young age has stereotypically turned them in to Kusagakure's worst children, and it's just your luck that their parents, a wealthy mine-owner and his socialite wife, have asked shinobi from the village to take care of their darlings each time they go out together to upper-class meals and events. Are you man enough to handle this?
OBJECTIVE: Babysit the three children until their parents come come. Prevent them from making a mess and generally being naughty!
PAY: 50 EXP and 1,000 Ryo.

After getting into the mansion, Muu was met with the rowdy noises of distant shouting, the sound of things falling and breaking and all other manor of crazy undesirable noises from somewhere not to deep into the house. The first thought, possibly the flight instinct was yelling at Muu to turn tail and run out of the oversized house. Yet his shinobi honor would not allow him to run, even if his opponent were… Babies.

The parents had arrived, dressed elegantly for a night on the town, and given him the “rundown” and told him the dos and do not’s of the house as well as the safety requirements he was being paid to provide. He was to ensure the safety of the children, then the safety of the house, and make sure they didn’t break anything and were in bed at a proper hour.

After that Muu got a pat on the head and could only watch blankly with his tired eyes as they vanished with haste out the door. Muu stood in the quiet of the house, alone and in unknown, enemy, territory. The silence felt like too much and he gulped down his regret of taking the mission as a throat clearing noise was made behind him.

Turing slowly he was met with the distaining expressions of one thirteen year old women who would be the spokes women of the trio, one younger boy, around 10 or so, and a smaller boy, a boogie in his noise and stains on his shirt looking 2 or 3. They all stood, appearing out of thin air and all with looks of hate as they stared at Muu unimpressed. This was going to be a long night as the stare down went on, as he had his stare down int eh overly large kitchen of the massive manor of babies.

After the stand off went on for another few moments, neither side making a move,. Muu decided to be the better man and spoke up.
’Well…. Hi there little Bees. I’m Muu, and I suppose i’ll be watching you tonight. What do… you normally do to kill the passing empty thing time?”

The jumbled, slightly messed up sentence was trademark of Muu, and his questioning tired expression tot eh children would follow waiting for their answer cause frankly, Muu didn’t know what o do with them. His first though was to tie them up and put them away in a closet somewhere and sit outside till the parents came home. That’d be safe for them, and more so for himself. But it would become known that the kids had another plan.

The oldest spoke with a clear tone, full of her higher class tone as she spoke down to the shinobi before her whom she knew was left to do their bidding.
”We don’t like you. So how about this, you come quietly and you won’t get hurt.”

The ultimatum confused Muu who simply looked at the trio with a blink look, blinking s he thought and tried to decipher the words and their meaning. As he started to speak, the kids moved with speed he hadn’t expected. The little one jumped for his face, the middle child dashed to tackle him at the mid section and the oldest came following, a rolling pin in hand above her head.

What the hell had he gotten himself into?

The next few moments you wouldn’t believe unless you were there. Muu was able to cast the middle child aside but the baby landed square on his face, latching on like a spider monkey. Muu struggled to pull him off as the little rug rat gnawed and more so drooled on his head. All the wile Muu never stood a chance against the oldest. As she pulled back the youngest jumped back, releasing Muu just as the rolling pin swung and connected with the young shinobi’s face.

Reeling back from the hit holding his face Muu exclaimed in shock!
”What the Hell!! Why did you do that little bee?!?!”

As he looked back at the kids he saw them re-group, nod to one another and charge him again… And so it began. His lazy eyes opened wide and then his face set in determination. He would not be beaten by babies!! So the fierce struggle began, he batted children aside and a deadly struggle began with a kid flying away from the fray, stuck by Muu in some way and then seen racing back for more.

The conflict would not end there, but escalate as the Green haired boy began moving about the house with his shinobi skills, jumping form counter to counter, snatching up a plastic spatula and wooden spoon as the kids armed themselves as well. The oldest already wielded a rolling pin, the middle child grabbed a large whisk, and the youngest was left jumping up to the counter and began throwing cookies!

The little monster would waste cookies!! Muu ducked the attacks, using his two acquired kitchen utensils to defend himself and deflect the projectiles. Is this how you were suppose to baby sit now a days?

It’s difficult to accurately explain the happenings in the next few moments. One might compare it to a food fight in a massive school cafeteria, but that wouldn’t do it complete justice. Fending off the children, even for a shinobi, was a bit challenging. Using non-lethal blows and deflecting projectiles while holding the two older children off was a tough but Muu managed. He had found their mothers knitting and used it to tie down the oldest girl, leaving her hanging form the second story banister. She could still be heard ranting and shouting in rage at being caught and left suspended in the air.

The moment had caused the middle-aged boy to start giggling, giving Muu the opening he needed to solve the second biggest problem. In the boys moment of laughter at his sisters expense, Muu pounced. Driving the wooden spoon into the back of the boys neck, snapping it and swiping his feet with his spatula, the boy was down and out cold.

Finally he was left with his smallest challenger. This would prove to be the greatest fight for the baby would not go down easy. After hours of intense struggle, projectiles of all food varieties, Muu finally conquered the child. A fresh bowl of pudding still dripping from his hair, Muu held, triumphantly I might add, the baby up in the air.

He hadn’t landed some game ending blow nor had he tricked him in any way. The baby had simply ran out of energy and passed out. In the end Muu won and went to show the hanging captive sister the spoils, her two brothers, both bested and asleep at the terrible might of the great shinobi Muu Yanagi! Bet she wouldn’t be so cocky now.

upon seeing her siblings defeated, her angry defiant expression softened. Muu grew sad and his own joyful smile soured for a moment. Oh no… was she going to cry? What would he do if she did?! Fear and panic entered his mind. He didn’t know how to handle crying at all this was a disaster after all! Then something bizarre happened.. She started laughing

And she kept laughing till she was crying rom her own strange, slightly and possibly demented, joy. Muu finally grew frustrated and in his confused frustration jabbed her with his spatula and demanded to know the cause of her giggles! She simpley looked at him, smiling dn tears of happiness in her eyes.

”Well Played Ninja! I’ll help you clean up now that you’ve won.”

He didn’t quite understand but he cautiously cut her down and to his surprise, she did. She helped and practically by herself cleaned up the entire house by herself and in no time at all. She even helped lay her siblings to bed before going to sleep for the evening herself. What on earth?!

The parents finally arrived and were thrilled to see the boy still alive and, fro the most part, unharmed! They explained that their children could be… a bit of a handful to say the least. They hired a shinobi not really fro the sake of the kids, but the sake of the baby sitter! They needed someone who could take care of themselves and make it through the night alive. This had all been a bonus in fact, no one had ever had them in bed with a clean house before!

So Muu left that house, a victor in more ways then one, but as confused as hell.
