[Muu Yanagi]

Muu arrived at the house where he was suppose to meet the family he was set to work for. Standing before the incredibly large wooden and steel gate, Muu looked up at it with his hands behind his head, a blank look, lazy and sleepy looking eyes gazing at it as if it could have been an illusion in a dream. But then they moved, opening slowly as a large man, roughly the size of a bear or maybe bigger, in a black suit came walking out slowly. He had a stern, determined look on his a face, looking above the little boy that would be Muu, standing at his measly height facing down against this nearly 8 foot tall monster of a man that approached him now.

Muu refocused on him, blinking, a confused expression as he watched the giant approach. He moved with nothing but the sound of his foot steps filling the air, until stopping about 8 feet from the little green haired boy. He then waited in silence and spoke in a deep voice.
”You, Muu, Yanagi. You are instructed to allow Miss Masumi to have all the fun in the world, and above all keep her form all harm. Should you fail your life will be forfeit. For that is how important she is…. Be back before 1 am.”

Muu stood in silence for a moment or two... he heard the man but he thought he was watching over a little girl…. Then as Muu began to open his mouth a small figure erupted from around the mountain of a man. In a bright yellow sun dress and white hat, a blue bag slug over her shoulder, a little girl whizzed from around the body guard and was nearly nose to nose with Muu.

Her energy was high, incredibly so and she was talking a mile a minute. Muu could barely keep up and trying to make sense of her words was utterly useless. So he just blinked more, looking at her in shock and after a few moments, he looked around her,she went on as if she didn’t even notice, and he saw the body guard was gone, and the gates were nearly shut. She was his problem now it seemed… he had to survive until 1 am…. Lord help him.

DESCRIPTION: Having lived through both shinobi wars and seen several people get kidnapped and attacked on the streets, the parents of Masumi Suji have decided to take extra measures in order to make sure that their daughter stays safe when she’s away from their protective eyes. Wanting her to have the same teenage life as any other girl on average, they’ve decided to implement security measures. Being 17 years old and a keen party-goer, her parents have requested shinobi to escort her to and from parties in order to make sure that nothing bad happens to their little princess. Duties include making sure that she doesn’t put herself in potentially dangerous situations, and making sure that she returns home at the end of the night safe and sound.
OBJECTIVE: Look after and protect the young heiress as she goes out to party!
PAY: 50 EXP and 1,000 Ryo.

With the sun beginning to make it’s way down, Muu was just starting to make his way up the path to this young miss’s friends house. ‘House’ might not have been the proper term to use after an quick after thought. The place was a freaking castle, and so large he was amazed he’d never noticed such a place before. As they neared the front door, made of heavy, thick wood and bronze, it opened and another small girl, an almost exact mirror image of Miss Masumi.

Save fore the bright blue hair of Miss Masumi, her friend, Sashimi, was a fiery red head, and definitely not a stick figure. This curvy, young women was a knock out with a bubbly personality full of enthusiasm and excitement matching Miss Masumi.

They joined in a friendly embrace common of girls their age and began jabbering about the coming festivities and guests and decorations, along with everything thing else, literally every detail about the party. Muu just trailed behind them, paying no attention to them at all, but instead thinking and staring at everything incredibly decorative thing alone the walls and set out . Geez these people had an enormous amount of money to blow.

They literally had a fountain of water, that had the color of liquid gold, falling like a waterfall along one wall, multiple giant ice sculptures, that didn’t seem to melt, and a number of other decorations all set for the party this evening… Muu found himself on a banister of the second floor, over looking a massive lower room full of party decorations and a ballroom style floor. This was where the event was to be held, here and the pool/ garden outside the large clear glass doors. So here, on the banister he’d stay… hiding form the lights and loud noise where he could watch people and talk to himself in peace.

His little watchers perch was left alone for him as party people filled the massive house. Honestly, nearly everyone in Kusagakure and at least one of the neighboring Major Villages must be in attendance tonight! Muu just sat there, the railing of the banister like prison bars as he slumped forward, knee on his leg and chin in his palm, his lazy eyes appearing to threaten to close as he watched the commotion below.

His face pained by colorful light and darkness in odd intervals, Muu could barely talk to himself over the baring music… This was possibly the worse task he’d ever been set on. He would never admit it out loud, but on several occasions he even lost his charge in the crowd. With so many people so lavishly dressed, he was surprised he had found her yet again. And Needless to say with the number of random males she danced with, her parents would surely put a full guard on her at all times to keep her form her promiscuous ways!

But she could rest easy, for Muu would never mention it to them. Not that he had any moral code or anything as silly as that. No, he just feared being the one sentenced tot eh hell that would be that permentant guard. He couldn’t imagine doing this all the time! He’d surely kill himself for he was already quiet mad.

Just then, when he thought it would be a good idea to do a perimeter sweep if only to get outta this massive house and get some fresh air outta this noise, screaming form outside caught his attention. He looked out the glass doors and large windows but the glare from the bright lights made it impossible to see out. Reaffixing his sight down on the crowd he re-spotted his charge and panicked a little when he saw her fighting her way through people to the outside doors!

”That little brat….”
He mumbled as he used the banister to get to his feet and step up and jump off, over the crowd as if he could fly. Using the hanging decorations to cross the room unnoticed to the windows, but his charge was outside before he was there… Dammit.

Miss Masumi had run out to find the source of the screaming. As it turns out, the source in question are party goers running for the house, away from a man walking after them, a massive melting mound of ice, the remnants of an ice sculpture, behind him and an evil grin on his face.
”Im here to start the Real party! Who’s ready to be the entertainment?! Haha”

He kept coming forward, Muu watching from the window high above, standing on a hanging fake cloud above the frightened and confused party people below. But before anything, it was again, Miss Masumi who spoke up, fearlessly thinking she could deter or perhaps even take on this man alone. As her friends ran in fear that their for all their money they were in potentially real danger here, She stood fast.

Muu got a bit more respect for her.
”Who the hell are you! Ya, know what.. it doesn’t matter, get outta here right now! Your not welcome!”

She had guts, and the music inside kept blaring, but Muu could see the man start to laugh, his mouth opening, but then he saw him form hand signs and lurch forward. He had seconds, so he jumped, his strength having been gathered above as he took sight of the man, this would be a close call for sure.

The air rushed by him, and time seemed to freeze for the instant. He floated in the dark night air, glass pieces floating around him like glinting snow flakes reflecting eh light form the party inside. His hand came together as gravity took hold of reality again, his clothing flapping as he began to fall and his chakra kneaded within him. He inhaled deeply form the crisp night and launched his chakra in a ball of air just as the party pooper fired his own blast.

Muu had recognized the move, as many if not all true shinobi would, as a fire ball technique. It was a low level, probably D rank cause as it raced for the young women Muu was tasked with protecting the vacuum sphere hit it form above, the two chakra blasts igniting there and even cracking the very earth below them. Luckily it had been enough to halt the attack, as Muu continued to fall and land in the cracked earth between his charge and the new comer who seemed to have nothing but bad things in store for this celebration.

Muu landed win a crotch, then rose facing his charge, locking eyes with here and calmly speaking.
”Stay back please. You’ll only get in the way after all. This is more our kind of playtime anyway. “

With that, disregarding her stunned face, and attempt to dispute him, he turned to pay her no head, turning his attention to his own playmate, who’s face was equally surprised, and his entire body showed it from his stunned posture. This man had come here, caused many guests to scream and run. Had destroyed party property. Even attack his personal charge. Yeah, he figured he qualified as being Muu’s playmate by now.

So staring at him with his near lifeless eyes, as if the lids could close at any moment, he spoke calmly with a small strange unbefitting, nearly sadistic grin.
”So… shall we play?”

Not a moment for his words to take their full effect had passed before he was racing fro the man, arms falling behind him as his speed increased, strength gathering as he neared his target. This would indeed make the party more fun. Well.. at the very least more exciting.

The man seemed so stunned he didn’t know how to process this little kid, seemingly dressed in his ridiculous fashion and what was more was that he was or should be clearly a shinobi! Having blocked his attack so effortlessly and now.. not even giving a moment here he was… rushing head long into him! Quickly the man weaved some signs and sent 3 fire balls at him, hoping to deter the boy at the very least, or at best hit him dead on.

One blast of fire nearly did that, Muu weaving to the side, then jumping to the other side to doge another, his eyes never opening much and looking as if they could close soon. He then jumped and as the third and final hit seemed as if it’d find it’s mark Muu performed a second jump in mid air! Turning it into a flip he rolled forward and brought down his fist, packed with his souin strength the stunned man could do nothing at this point to react.

A thundering crash sounded as the hit connected with the mans face, sending him to the ground stirring up a cloud of dust. The music was cut, everyone waited on the edge of their seat to see what would happen or what would come of the attack, the display of the shinobi’s movements already captivating the rich party going crowd. Sounds of a struggle could be heard, desperate grunts and snarls of frustration, and then from the smoke a form emerged.

Flying that is. The limp body of the intruder came flying so far he went through one of the glass doors and went sliding to a halt among the broken glass, the party goers moving to give him room. He was beaten, had a black eye and most of his face was already swelling, discolored and a bit distorted. Muu came strolling out with a gloomy look on his face, looking back with his half closed eyes.
”My playmate sucked.”

The display, or the “fight” had drawn a large reaction from the crowd, once they realized it was over. Cheers and laughter and to be frank the crowd went nuts. It was like being at a national sporting event but right there on the field. Some even thought it to be some contracted entertainment for the party and loved every minute of it. Others claimed to have never been worried about it in the first place, knowing that it was going to happen and only acted to be frightened. The liars.

Anyway, the man was arrested and Muu got to take Miss Masumi home on time and his duty was done! That was the most exciting part for the little green haired psycho. He was so thrilled to be done “baby sitting” that it cheered him right up after his sad little play date had been such a bust. The entire way home he just complained to his charge about how pitiful he was to punch and franky it was one of the more boring fights he’d ever had.

She seemed a bit concerned that he kept refereeing to the actual event, the fight, ad the “Play date” and constantly talked about how he “broke” him but she waved it off mostly cause he Had saved her back there, even though he never bothered to mention that part. All in all a boring mission with a lot of hype and then a let down in Muu’s book. But one step closer to the next thing none the less!
