Care For Some Tea? [mission]

The Famous Tea House! Once a pleasant little hideaway for the elderly to enjoy some quiet time with one another in it’s temperate and soothing environment has now changed. What was once a soothing atmosphere is now tense and the customers come in at their own risk.

The mission details had told Muu that someone was spiking the tea, causing many of the elderly customers to break out into fits of hysteria, speak in some form of tongues, and even hallucinate acting crazy and going on about things that made no sense. Basically, they sounded like Muu’s kind of people. As he walked into the tiny shop He was immediately hit with the smell of good tea, and the aroma of old people hiding under lavender bushes.

Getting up to the counter where the manager was waiting for him, he observed a kid sitting by some old people, obviously bored and killing time by drawing in a notebook, a glum look on his face and bag sitting next to him, and not far away a group of old women laughing and talking about old people things. Muu looked away and refocused on the manager who seemed to be in a small huff over the recent mountains of paper work he’d been doing.

Honestly the man looked pooped and drained from the recent hysteria outbreaks and upon spotting Muu relief flooded his face.
”Oh thank the lord you’ve arrived! You have no idea how bad it’s been. Please try to take care of this quickly, we never know when another outbreak will begin!”

Muu blinked… At anytime then? These break outs are random?

Just then, an old women came roaring past them, racing for the front door. The problem was she was half naked and striping as she went, a look of utter joy and confusion on her face as she hollered something about the balloons never meeting the Lizard king… then all hell broke loose in the tea shop.

TROUBLE AT THE TEA HOUSE!

DESCRIPTION: The tea-house in Kusagakure has been a notable spot for the elder generation to unwind and savour some delicious tea and nibbles. However, despite the soothing music, polite assistants and the beautiful surroundings, as of late a prankster has been tainting the tea and has placed some kind of strange drug in to it. While not being fatal, it causes everyone who consumes the tea to act erratic and hallucinate for a few minutes before going back to normal. With the good name of the tea house at risk, the mischief maker must be caught, as he keeps coming back to do his signature prank, at the digress of the staff!
OBJECTIVE: Track down the person responsible for the tainted tea!
PAY: 25 EXP and 500 Ryo.

Within minutes the inhabitants of the tea house had broken into a mass hysteria, many rambling to themselves in odd voices unbefitting the elderly. Others were wildly partaking in strange activities such as handstands and even dancing on tables or talking to inanimate objects. While still other customers not under the influence of the tea spiking drug were in a panic trying to stay away from the crazed fellow patrons.

Muu only watched the scene unfold for a few moments, blinking in his own odd expression not really noticing anything wrong with them. They were acting as if they had all gotten a bit of the “Muu Flu” or something for this is how he was prone to act on a regular basis.

The young shinobi turned his head back to look at the manager to notice, instead of the dread and tired that had been there before, he look… oddly pleased as he looked around at the shop. Interesting. He then addressed the man in a clam curious fashion, drawing his attention back to surprise as he looked at the green haired boy.
”I don’t see anything wrong with them…”

Muu honestly didn’t, cause he saw them having fun like he often did. If anything he was a bit jealous of them getting to enjoy themselves and him being “on duty”. The manager then looked as if he’d been punched by a little kid, as disappointment, disbelief, and a tinge of anger entered his face.
”What do you mean they seem fine? They are clearly crazy!”

Muu then blinked at him, took in his face a moment and then rose up and leaned forward, his own expression turning angry.
”Who’re you calling crazy Sweaty Face?!”

As if he had taken offense to the insult himself and was about ready to let the guy have it. He forced him to back up in surprise and run into the counter, and something peculiar fell from his pocket. A little bag of some powdery white substance… The manager quickly looked at it in horror and then back to the shinobi.

What the hell is that? Muu would consider looking at it with curious question in his face.

Muu looked back up at the man, who was growing more panicked and frightened by the second. Why was that? Then sweat visibly broke out on his face and Muu just stared, occasionally blinking slowly as he looked on at him with his lazy face and tired eyes.

”Listen… I can explain. I just needed these old bags to loosen up and live a little! Do you know how boring it is, or how degrading to serve people who are about to die and you HAVE to treat them so damn well and they still complain about every little thing… they deserved it!”

Muu blinked again in surprise as the man rambled on and spit out his defense. Still the boy looked lost and as if he were putting two and two together very slowly as the man nearly hyperventilated. In Muu’s pause the man seized the moment and dashed for the door. Then, as if a light flicked on, Muu’s face registered understanding and a grin spread fast like wild fire.

”Oh! So you’re the one responsible. Hey don’t you run away Sweaty Face!”

Seeing the man nearly at the door, Muu grabbed what was in arms reach, a beverage serving try made of wood off the counter and threw it after the man like a discus. It spun rapidly and made a show as it flew and finally struck the man in the back of the head, sending him falling in a heap and stopping motionless just out of the door.

Muu retrieved the bag of whatever substance he supposed was the mystery drug and went to retrieve the man. He used his chakra absorption technique to make sure he was completely docile and took him away. Although eh was sad to be leaving people who acted like him, they’d return to their old boring selves in a matter of time anyway he supposed.
