They appeared in a sudden flash of light, the darkened, abandoned room once shed in the void of forgot now finding a purpose once more. Two men, proud warriors of the Uzumaki clan, would be the first to pioneer the abandoned locale, though they would not be alone. Staying true to their form, both men nodded to each other silently, letting their bodies adopt movement and purpose that would soon be revealed.

"Ichi, this is an exciting time." Was the unarmed man truly excited? It was hard to tell given his stoic nature, but his words carried an surreal intent few knew about. Regardless; the man with the pot, Ichi, moved towards the center of the room. He began a string of seals while the other let his eyes wander across the room. It was around this time that each torch, once hidden under the darkness, suddenly came to life. Fire? Hmm...

Ichi's hands slapped together just as the last torch came to. "Okay...bring her out." In a few moments, The One With the Legendary Blade would come forth, her essence sliding out from the pot like a spirit before coming together as one. Her body would have no strength or energy, but as she returned to consciousness, she'd find the image of two orange haired men, robed, looking down on her.

They said nothing.

Their essences would move through the air at frightening speeds, to
the point they morphed into inhuman shapes. They were no longer
in control; they would soon face only darkness.

I awoke- If that was the correct term. As my corpse surely fell out of whatever limbo it had previously been trapped in, all I could recall was black as my eyes slowly pried open, sensitive to the torch light that lit the room so softly. All I could remember was watching that fucking yonbi fall down on its knees amongst several figures on the battlefield a grand distance away from where I was- And then, disorientation and pain. A pulsating headache dug at my head but that was the least of my concerns at the moment, as upon looking up with whatever strength was left in my, I’d notice two males, both bearing hair of orange.

Perhaps if I wasn’t currently feeling static then I’d have come up to my knees and fuckin’ cut the both of them but at the current time, I had to remind myself that these weren’t ordinary shinobi- Whatever power they had been blessed with showed through in the battle that I’d just witnessed, the image of the golden chains still strong in my mind. Eyes closing once more, it would take a few moments for me to get used to where we were currently situated- I couldn’t be sure of exactly what was going on or where we were, but I tightened the grasp on my ability to control myself- This wasn’t the time to be kicking off, the strange, almost sinister aura that surrounded whatever vessel I’d been captured within showed that clearly. Samehada still wrapped around my back faithfully it now seemed slightly heavier than it had previously been with my current state, but I daren’t remove it. I'd previously felt weightless in the ephemeral cell we'd been trapped in but now?- Everything hurt. ”…….” As my blue eyes then looked at the two of them once more, opening beautifully despite my weary state I’d keep my position splayed on the floor somewhat, although, indefinitely with the side of my head pressed against the cold, stone-clad floor. With whatever small ounce of strength left within me I’d force myself to move slightly more upright as my left arm supported this movement, just so that I could have a better look at the two of them. Their heads slowly turning the right way around as my vision perfected itself through moving about, I’d exhale a heavy breath, almost as if it carried the entire stress of the situation that I had previously encountered as my form had travelled what felt like miles before the blank darkness fell on us all- And what had they to do with it? I expected to find out.

Few precious moments passed by in silence- But it felt like a lifetime.

”So; are ..either of…

..you going to explain to me …

..what the fuck ..just happened?”

Despite the fact that my words were uneven in tone and also shaky, I had no qualms in expressing my discontent with what had happened to me, even if it took time for me to even prepare the strength needed to say what I'd said- Of course I was more than fucking happy to be brought out of whatever dark prison we’d all been placed in but I wasn’t going to walk away from this skipping along with fucking daisies growing from where I’d trodden on. I wanted answers- I wanted to know what that pot was; Who they were- But with health like mine at the moment, there was little that I could say without sounding like an asphyxiated horse- I’d exhale once more, as I soon came to my senses and calmed, my blue eyes still searching their forms for any answers that I could get. What would be revealed next? It was their queue to speak in response to what I had said- But whether I got the answers I needed or not was another question. Why have they brought us here? Who are they?

I wanted to find out, too.

"In due time," the shorter, more stout figure pined, grinning jovially as his apparent brother paced around the lady, his gunsteel eyes digesting the woman—his emotionless facade feasting upon every minute detail they came upon.

"How strong is your sense of leadership?" This voice came from the taller, more thin brother. He paused behind the woman, motioning to his brother who nodded and moved the pot off to the side of the room, where the swelling darkness consumed it.

Behind her, the spikey-haired brother crossed his arms, waiting several seconds before resuming his encirclement of the Kunoichi. In time, he could come to stand before her again, and he would level his eery, uncaring eyes on the woman, and await hew answer.

"In due time"

It was frustrating. Not only that I had been kidnapped by these two idiots, that at the moment my limbs felt sore and heavy, but I’d also been disallowed the information that I was expected to have been given. After all; It was them who brought me in to this whole mess and I expected that they’d at least tell me an inkling of what was going on. Closing my eyes, it wasn’t out of defeat at all, but moreso out of sheer irritability regarding the response which I had been given. If I’d been granted my true strength then I’d have gladly kicked the shorter one in the fucking nuts and then dropkick the other one’s head- But I was unable to do so, and that pissed me off. Shaking my head of blonde hair gently to remove strands from my face, the light blonde shade would be illuminated somewhat by the flickering light, giving it a slightly reddish tone alongside the majority of things in the room, turning white to a light red.

"How strong is your sense of leadership?"

The other one would utter these words; And left me not confused- But interested.

It wasn't as if I was trying to think of an answer- I was sure of myself and I didn’t doubt my ability to do anything, let alone lead. Having had once been in a team in my youth I had the experience of being led by others, but with only myself left there was little that I could follow. I had made a name for myself and I looked up to nothing but whatever precious end that we all were forced to succumb to sooner or later. Clouds parted softly at the mentioning of my name and angels so softly whispered my name in my own ears and bequeathed me with visions that no other person had seen before. I was one born to lead- I knew more than anyone about what needed to be done and what would be done if correct actions weren’t taken- And I was so close to divinity- Humanity stood in my path and I found myself torn down and chained to this fucking earth with the rest of them, as if I was no different- They could only dream of being as gifted as I was. Was he questioning me? I’d smirk- Did I really need to explain?

In time, he could come to stand before her again, and he would level his eery, uncaring eyes on the woman, and await hew answer.

”There is little.. that stands in my way..

..And little who rise above me.”

I spoke these with some kind of laugh in my voice although I was in correct position to ask myself exactly why it was happening- It was strangely funny how they asked me this; I was a born leader. I was driven by my own goals and I sought nothing more than to complete them; To restore my village; To become one of the worlds finest kunoichi. And whether or not people chose to follow me or not was of their choice, but whoever did were wise indeed. My piety was drawn to those who I felt deserved it and those who went against me could only but be in for the worst as I found no solace in sucking up to others unless it was for my own gain in the long run. I would lead people to glory and to the final cause which we as frail, meaningless humans could only aspire to join. I was so close- my fingers could only so briefly touch what celestial power lingered behind shut doors. And I was prepared to clean my corpse of any impurities that they deemed unacceptable. I was uncontaminated. I was perfect.

Fully aware that vanity was a sin, I bathed in it nonetheless. With long golden tresses, sparkling baby blue eyes and a figure that would make women years younger than me jealous, I bore perfect qualities. And not only this; But also a sharp mind and a fucking huge sword positioned on my back to boot. Although I regretted to say that at some points I would become dazed, I was nonetheless better than any fucking shinobi who came my way. Leadership skills weren’t a qualm to me; From my days back in my team, years ago I strove to take responsibility and leadership but now those days were gone and I was faced with a much harsher reality- A much harsher reality that I controlled. Gazing at his own grey eyes, the smirk on my face still implemented- I didn’t look smug, but instead, proud. I knew my abilities well and what I was capable of. What little question he’d given me was rendered to dust as I was fully aware of the fact that I was a naturally born leader- I gazed at him, almost challenging his authority as my smirk soon transitioned to nothing.

”..I am the epitome ..of divinity.”

I'd exhale softly after these words.

I wasn't to be challenged on what I say. And I made that fucking clear.

"Divinity!" the shorter, more robust brother exclaimed, his bushy eyebrows rising in jest. He clapped his hands before his stomach—three times in total—before falling silent, ultimately forfeiting the right to speak to his taller brother; though, even in his silence, the chubby stranger's mocking grin was evident.

"You are confident," the taller stranger leaned in towards Blanche, almost as if examining her, "but are you capable?" He shifted from her right to her left, his strange eyes glaring directly into the Kunoichi's. He seemed oblivious to her brooding frustration—or at least, largely apathetic—and though the lady had hoped to make her statement absolute, the weary facade of skepticism had engrossed the stranger's countenance.

"Such a foul-mouthed creation," the spikey-haired fellow mused, his eyes shifting to glare at the woman's weapon for a brief moment. "How did you get it?" His second inquiry, like his first, was coupled with his gaze shifting back to Blanche's eyes.

Another pang of ache went through my head from the transport that I hadn’t permitted myself to be the victim of. Perhaps stumbling upon the site of the Yonbi wasn’t one of my best ideas but I couldn’t have stayed away for long after all. I’d been with Samehada for a few years now and alongside the brittle and dangerous edge it had, I held the same qualities- Power was what guided me and simply to see the beast itself in its prime was satisfying enough. Harnessing it was an interesting thought and I couldn’t dismiss the fact that having such power would surely render me unstoppable- But it wasn’t what I wanted at the moment. Not now, anyhow. I had enough things to take care of and having a bijuu on my list of priorities would simply become a burden for the time being. Samehada had gifted me enough abilities to last me for the rest of my lifetime- And I wasn’t ready to risk losing her in a brawl against a bijuu yet. The day would soon come where I could take down any beast that came my way with a single strike, and then the shinobi world itself would quake as my name would be uttered by those who reside in it.

”..Do you really doubt me?”

A smirk was the only natural response to this as my eyebrows raised in almost an inquisitive way, although it seemed more as if he’d just told a joke rather than questioned my capability at leadership. I did my best to prevent myself from emitting some variation of a laugh, and luckily these efforts pulled through as all that could be seen on my face was a smirk and nothing more. I said my words with sincerity- I didn’t doubt my ability to lead for even a fraction of a second- To do so would be.. so disgustingly wrong. However- It seemed that in front of this man, I’d need to speak my words clearer than that for him to understand what I had to say. He obviously had no experience with speaking to girls- I could tell both by the way that he spoke to such a lady as myself, and the way that he was acting like a snot-nosed bitch at the moment. Him and his podgy brother. But that didn’t matter.

With his face so much in the way at the moment, yet being challenged at the moment, it wasn’t in my nature to back down. Eye contact was my thing. With blue eyes as icy as mine they either comforted when I was in a more forgiving mood, or pierced in to the very eyes of others with an icy grip. His grey hues were strange, I had to admit. I’d seen every eye colour beneath the sun including a blue doused with grey but never one in the tone that he held, although then again, I wasn’t even sure of which lineage he came from to begin with. Carrot-coloured hair and grey eyes wasn’t something which I’d come to naturally pick out to realize that they were from a certain clan or family- Hyuuga were the easiest to identify- These two? Unknown, even to me- And that took a lot.

”..You will never find a man nor a woman as proficient as I am. Mark my words.”

"How did you get it?"

However, my own attention would be dragged down by his own wavering mind as he’d soon come to point out the gargantuan sword that was positioned on my back. By now I’d gained somewhat amount of my strength back, and I shifted my limbs slightly. With such a strong connection to the blade preventing it from stabbing to my back when I was close to it was a given task for the sword itself to learn to do- As I’m sure that if the command hadn’t been instilled within it, my back would have been cut in to ribbons of flesh by now. I formed a tight bond with the blade itself, and although it wasn’t common that I used it, it was an importance for me to keep it safe. ”How about this; How do you think I got it?” I’d ask him with my eyes still gazing in to his as I spoke my words almost sarcastically- Surely, he had at least an inkling of how I'd attained it, Of course- it was a story that a small part of me wasn't proud to recite. I hadn't bought nor bartered for it. Blood stained my hands but in the end I came out with a sword that would place me at one of the top spaces on the food chain- My efforts were not in vain. However with the topic of these two, with my beautiful appearance, innate strength and quick wits, even if I was lacking one I could easily get my way. My mind was sharp even at the worst of times, which became increasingly often these days- I wasn’t going to be pushed around by a fucking ginger tosser. While some may have crumbled beneath his brother’s taunts or his own attempted intimidation, I was unmovable. I’d met several people like him before ..But had be met someone like me?

"Oh...aren't you snide," The assumed leader of the pair stated, a whimsical grin seizing his facade for the briefest of moments before a grim distaste overcame him. His eyes opened and bore their weight upon the Kunoichi. They stared deep into her own, looking through the physical existence before him and deep into the recesses of her soul. It was there that it was planted, her duality—her obedience was forged within her, to be summoned at the stranger's beck. She'd feel odd as it was birthed, as if a great weight had been planted within her.

"Come now, Kunoichi," he said, beginning to move towards the depths of the darkness, where the faintest slivers of light suggested a doorway. "Your people await you."

"Your village awaits you."

And should Blanche step through the door as it was opened, she would lay her eyes on the bustling village of Kusagakure; it was filled with life, and looked no more dead than lady herself.

I’d been keen enough to notice the fleeting grin which could be seen on his face, and even as his own soon dissipated, the smirk which laced my soft pink lips stayed intact and unmoving by the drastic change in mood which coursed through the entire room. My eyes had long become acquainted by the faint candlelight and my eyes had adjusted to allow myself to see almost perfectly in the room from the awkward angle that I was currently sat at. Despite the fact that my limbs still ached I was now much more mobile than I’d previously been; And had it not been for the fact that these two fascinated me from the inexplicable mannerisms they gave and whatever had happened which had brought me here in the first place, I’d have left right at this moment with my nails grateful to be digging in to the flesh of those who went against me. I’d been ruthlessly taken; So it would only be fair for my own right, to be ruthless against them and show them what was coming to them if they crossed me.

And yet I waited.

However with enough to work on my mouth would open ever so slightly as I grinned onwards, my infamous backchat ready to be deployed when- ”…..” it was.. strange. Although I’d past been keeping steady eye contact with his grey orbs, I hadn’t faltered with my own blue- Until now. Whatever strength had been gifted to me through time and patience was now slightly lowered by a strange sensation unlike any other- I felt- Heavy for perhaps a moment or so, my eyes drifted off in to the walls that surrounded the three of us as the feeling weaved through my very being, before I finally composed myself by the sound of his words once more, pooling from his mouth. Unlike what he’d said last what was spoken now seemed so.. strange and yet I couldn’t have brought myself away from the situation quicker. I rose; slowly of course due to my impaired movement but I made for good time. ”..My village…? I’d almost choke these words out as the effects of whatever had come over me a moment or so ago continued to envelop me- I’d have been a fool to pass it off as another drawback of whatever sealing I’d been part of; But then again I was too wrapped up in everything he had to say at the moment- I could loosely understand what he meant- My village was destroyed.

However strange I felt at the moment, I couldn’t let it overcome the even stronger sense of curiosity that seethed out of my very pores as his position shifted and moved across the room to what would appear to be a dim light near the back. I’d follow his steps and trace his movements so carefully with my gentle blue eyes, and before I knew it, I was being moved by my own two feet towards the faint doorway that was being illuminated by whatever light that stayed behind it. I had an inkling of what he meant and what could be behind the door but I failed to believe it- My mind raced forwards almost frantically as I simply couldn’t bear to have that little thought made real. As I drew closer and the distance became shorter, I soon came to be aware that I was holding my breath as I inched forwards until my hands could very much touch the wooden pane of the door itself, as I then placed my hand on the cold metal latch, unlocking it. Sunlight drenched my eyes and it burned so painfully, my vision blurring considerably before soon adjusting, as I looked about, exhaling as I did so although with slight difficulty. I'd step in to the light as the rays poured over every inch of my body that revealed itself to this place, the sweet warmth softy caressing my skin and highlighting my long blonde hair, as I could only look onwards at the buildings which surrounded me as I wildly tried to process what was happening.

I had to be dead.
There was no other way that this could possibly be real.

And with that it had begun. A new era, a new beginning. A new land to call our home; a new territory we'd make our own. The seed has been planted; now grow, flourish, and blossom.
