Trouble at the 7/11 [Mission]

After having been informed on his assignment, Muu still couldn’t care in the least. All he got form the file was there was a man who owned a store and some thugs were bossing him around. He didn’t especially care for the shop owner, but he didn’t like bossy people, and he really, really wanted to break things (people) to shatter his boredom.

So he approached the store, roughly 2 hours away from closing time, and walked in. The bell announced his arrival, and the shop keeper came up to him, beaming with excitement.
”I’m so happy you’re here! Thank you so much for your time! I sure hope your ready to teach those punks a lesson!”

The man was positively hopping with anticipation of the jerks getting what they deserved should they threaten him again, but Muu was unimpressed. His lazy eyes and straight line mouth didn’t even register excitement in the least, his hands stuffed in his pockets he walked passed the man and took a seat on a pony. Yes a pony. Made for little kids probably the little ride costs a quarter yet Muu paid none. He just straddled in, sitting and waiting for the fun to really begin.

The shop owner, a very confused look on his face was about to ask something but decided that it’d be pointless and walked away glumly. Who had they sent to see to his shop?

Mission Start::

SHOP DEFENSE
RANK: C
DESCRIPTION: The owners of a corner store in Kusagakure have for the past week been the victims of anti-social behaviour in the workplace by some of the village’s citizens. Usually it occurs late at night before closing time, and they’ve been threatened with violence too many times to count on both hands. In order to try and ward them off, they’ve instructed for shinobi to come and act as security guards for the store and try to ward off any rowdy customers if they choose to be disruptive in the shop- Just be sure not to cause any large fights, as the owner doesn’t want his shop being trashed!
OBJECTIVE: Try to curb the anti-social thugs who are targeting a corner shop in Kusagakure!
PAY: 50 EXP and 1,000 Ryo.

For a full hour and a half Muu just sat there, hands on the handle bars jutting from the toy ponies head, slightly rocking back and forth. He didn’t say a word, nor did he look away from what must have been a very exciting spot on the wall in front of him.
The shop keeper had gone about the rest of his day, shooting questioning glances at the boy though out his work, wondering what on earth he was doing or what was wrong with him.

But Muu was deep in thought, or conversation really. You see he often wondered about and seemed to talk to himself, but within his mind he was always talking to people. Well himself but he saw different people and heard numerous voices always yammering away at him begging to be recognized. You see, Muu was quiet crazy, but he managed to cope with it and make it useful. Now it was simply apart of who he was as just another odd tendency.

He was having one of these inner conversations when a man walked into the store. He wasn’t alone either, him and 3 other rough looking men came in just as the shop owner was beginning to close things down for the evening. The “leader of the merry band of thugs was a bald man wearing a red scarf. He must have thought he was fashionable or cool looking… he failed in both regards.

He walked right up to the clerk and, grabbing a coke rom the little ice box by the check out, popped it open and started drinking it without paying. The Old shop owner looked upset and started scolding the man, looking sideways at Muu for assistance. If only Muu were paying the slightest bit of attention.

The other 3 men started walking round the front of the shop, taking things off the shelves, tossing them around. The old shop keeper was beginning to sweat, as the leader of the pack of thugs talked to him in a smug voice, still drinking the unpaid for can of refreshing drink.
”I really think, for the safety of your shop and your own health, you should just hand over some money. For security purposes so we can make sure you stay safe. You know what I mean?”

To emphasize his point, he crushed the can, some liquid spilling from his hand and the shop owner was visibly scared out of his mind. The other men started to laugh and look at one another with excitement, knowing their scare tactics had just gotten them paid. The old man started shuffling around in his money drawer when something curious happened.

Standing next to the “leader” of the group, was Muu, his fingers making an odd circle over both his eyes and he was inches away form the leaders face to his left. The old man noticed him, and stopped, the frightened look becoming perplexed and this drew the leaders attention. He jumped back, falling into a rack of impulse buy items, mostly snacks and candies as his fright from having the strange boy inches form him.

How had he gotten so close to him so quickly and so soundlessly?! Muu just looked at him through his fingers, his lazy eyes and bored facial expression taking him in before he spoke in a tired, almost indifferent voice, loud enough for everyone nearby to hear.
”I decided I don’t like you, or your friends. Can I hurt them now?”

The last part was a question, but not to the leader, it was for the old man. And after a few moments of stunned silence, he dropped his hands and looked at the old man, beginning to gather his strength and chakra. He was waiting for something to happen, but mostly for the shop owners approval. It was his store and his customers after all.

Everyone remained silent as this strange green haired boy blinked, waiting for a response to his question. Before any more of the strange, awkward silence could continue one of the thugs raced for the boy, fist back as he lunged forward, throwing his body into a blow. Muu turned his indifferent expression on him, and blinked as he advanced. He was snarling out his words as he attempted to put the little brat down.
’You little Braaaaa……”

A choking sound followed, as Muu sidestepped the punch and punched back, faster then anyone there expected him to. The choking sound was caused by Muu, thrusting his fist into the mans throat, blocking his airway, and with his strength behind it, he was able to transfer the man’s momentum and send him back the way he had come, off his feet.

The man landed a few feet back, eyes rolled back in his head and tongue hanging limply form his mouth. His uncounisous form a clear sign these men had no idea who they were messing with. A shocked moment of silence as Muu, gathering his strength once more, rose back to his full, minor height, and looked indifferently at the other two and then down to the leader, who was still in a state of shock.

A smile spread slowly and devilishly across Muu’s face as he started down at the leader.

”Im going to enjoy this.”

The grin on the boys face as odd with his lazy indifferent eyes and evil looking smile, and the man’s friends were quick to action after seeing this unmoving sight. One ran forward, whipping out a pipe he had concealed in his clothing, about the length of ones forearm. The other, well he started to run to, but towards the door. He wasn’t going to have any part in this now that a crazy green haired freak was having fun.

The next thing anyone knew, a man was sprinting form the store, a terrified expression on his face, and moments later, before he could make it very far, another man came flying out behind him. The second man landed on the first, sending them both rolling to the ground in a mess of limbs and dust. One left unconscious from some attack, while the other first began scrambling to his feet, a pipe flew from the inside the store, connecting with the man’s temple and out he went like a light.

Muu looked after them, his expression bored once more. Man he hoped this would turn out to be more fun then tossing round some dirty lumps of sad sad men. He turned back to where he had left the supposed leader of this merry gang or light weights. He had scrambled up from where he’d fallen before, against a rack of snack items by the counter.

Turning in time to see the man scramble over the counter and take the old shop keeper from behind, he flicked out a pretty long knife and held it to the throat of the man who at first was struggling, but as the cold steel touched his skin he became as still as stone. Muu watched them for a moment, the man panicked and resulting to a hostage to avoid direct conflict with the boy. Muu’s eyebrow went up in curiosity. What to do what to do?

The old man stuttered out..
”Do… do… do… DO SOMETHING!”

Muu acted as if he’d been hurt, mocking an assault wound, hand over heart as the man yelled at his captive to ‘Shut the Hell up” and told Muu not to move or the old man dies. He started to back up and Muu hollered back.

”Hey! You said not to move or the old man dies and there you are moving! Not fair!”

The man stopped and looked at him in surprise, sweat clear on his face and not knowing what to make of this crazy ass kid. In the brief moment of confusion, the old man stepped down hard with his heel, driving it into the toes of his captor, and diving forward to avoid the knife. This was the golden chance.

His strength charged, Muu jumped from the ground, and as the man realized the pain was just the beginning of his problems, Muu was in his face. A devastating punch connected with the man and sent him off his feet and threw the large glass window in the front of the store. Looking after him, lying motionless in the street in a mess of broken glass, the shop keeper slowly crept next to him so he could see the damage more clearly.

The old man looked to Muu, who stood motionless, looking after the man. The Green haired boy simply looked back to the old man, and shrugged.
”Well they were no fun. You should get this window fixed.”

The boy stepped through it, stuffing his hands into his pockets and crunching eh glass under his feet as he walked away, before looking back at the stunned old shop keeper.
” Or don’t. it makes a very interesting and fun door.”

The man’s eyes opened wider as the boy simply just walked off, barely conversing with him or taking eh thugs into custody. Granted his task was simply to make sure they stopped bothering the shop owner.. and after the beating they had received, they’d probably never travel near the store again. Muu thought it was as simple as that, cat’s in the cat. Mission accomplished.
