PHYSICALITY[/u]
- Height: 5’11”

- Apparel: Kouhei dresses relatively conservatively. Not one for being flashy or renowned for being stylish Kouhei more often than not wears clothes that would be deemed as plain by those in the know to grade such things. Rather than showing off his body or wearing something intricate Kouhei opts to wear a simple black shirt with a low turtle neck. The turtle neck is a dull black closer to gray with lines running parallel to each other vertically down his shirt where the stitching has been done. The shirt is made from light enough material that it doesn’t force him to sweat even on the hottest days, but still manages to provide some sort of protection against the chill in the colder season. The shirt provides little in the way of protection, but then again it is not necessarily its function. As an additional support against the elements Kouhei is also inclined to wear a haori over his turtle neck. The haori is shorter than some only reaching just short of his knees. The garment has been done in a larger than normal collar and can frame his face all the way up to his nose if standing upright. The haori cloth is a light brown in color with a mustard border along the haori.
To complete the ensemble Kouhei wears comfortable black pants. The pants are made from a fairly flexible fabric that easily stretches under strain without tearing or ripping. This allows Kouhei to move with some flexibility without fear of the pants tearing at the worst opportunity. His right leg is adorned with white bandages that have been tied around the leg just above the kneecap. The bandages have not been done for aesthetic purposes, but rather for the function of relieving his leg of any discomfort if and when he wears a pouch for his kunai and shuriken along that leg. Without the bandages the small strapped bag will cut into his flesh causing discomfort. To protect his feet Kouhei wears the traditional protective sandals worn by most shinobi today. The sandals are a light brown matching his haori and move up a little past his ankles so that between his pants and the sandals no skin peeks out. Kouhei wears no real accessories, but he does wear fingerless gloves on both his hands. The gloves are black and their material and color both match his turtleneck. Despite the difficulty they provide for his art, forcing him to remove the gloves every time, Kouhei has chosen to wear them in order to hide his bloodline against those who might think that harming him for its secrets would be profitable. To finish it off Kouhei wears his headband, a representation of his village, around his forehead as symbol of his pride. Not caring about being colorful Kouhei has chosen to wear colors that match his village and allow him to more easily hide in the surroundings of his homeland. - Body Appearance: Kouhei from afar can give off the impression of feminine. From afar most people only see the long blonde hair and the long eyelashes. In truth these two aspects of his appearance are quiet feminine. His hair is longer than your average male’s trailing down his back and usually done in a ponytail with some sort of accessory used to keep it all neat and together before being casually flung over a shoulder. The hair isn’t a golden blonde, but it is the sort of natural blonde that someone can still find beautiful and often times found in that sort of girl next door sort of look. His eyelashes are long and thick framing his eyes and accentuating the clear blue color of the iris. The eyelashes are long enough to keep focus on the eyes without seeming so overly done that someone might expect makeup to be involved.
As one gets a closer look at Kouhei they would quickly realize they were dead wrong about him. Not only is Kouhei clearly masculine by his other features, but he can seem downright scary. His eyes although a beautiful clear blue seem permanently transfixed in a state that give off the impression that he is annoyed, wicked, or feeling some other sort of emotion that would make others want to distance themselves from him. It isn’t by design that he looks this way, but rather a simple matter of poor luck at birth giving him eyes and eyebrows that seemed determined to be in a natural state of unpleasantness. His mouth is a whole other matter of discomfort for those who engage with him. Despite repeated trips to the dentist Kouhei has been cursed with teeth that seem razor sharp. Kouhei’s mouth looks as if his parents were part shark. Fangs line his mouth in a wide grin whenever he smiles and when he keeps his mouth closed in order to hide them his mouth rests in a sort of frown despite whatever true emotion Kouhei might be feeling in that moment. Up close and personal there is no doubt that Kouhei’s facial features give off the impression that he is some sort of ruffian or troublemaker.
Kouhei’s body is that of your typical sixteen year old male. As a shinobi Kouhei has led a physically fit life. The Genin has spent most of his life training his mind and body for the hardships of being a shinobi. However, Kouhei has not devoted his life to the pursuit of taijutsu like so many other shinobi before him. Having no taste for taijutsu, nor the desire to damage his precious abilities in close combat, Kouhei has opted to learning the more spiritual and mental abilities of a shinobi. Therefore, although Kouhei certainly has a physically fit body designed for stamina it is not nearly as impressive as someone who has trained constantly to perfect their martial prowess. Corded muscle line his body accentuating arms and legs, but his chest remains plain with no abs of steel or pectoral muscles of splendor to speak of. Perhaps the most unique feature of his body is his hand. As someone bearing the Kibaku-Nendo Kouhei was born with a rather curious birth defect, a mouth in the palm of his hand. The mouth functions much like a normal one only it does not speak. Yet the mouth is capable of opening and closing, has a tongue, it has teeth, and can operate quiet normally. It is this hand that marks Kouhei as who he is and is used in almost all of his Jutsu. - Blemishes & Scars: Kouhei has no blemishes or scars. A combination of luck and the fact that he is still early on in his career as a shinobi has allowed him to get through life relatively unscathed. Whether this lucky streak will continue is yet to be seen.
COGNITION[/u]
- Personality
Lonely: Unfortunately for Kouhei he is a fairly lonely guy. Life has not been too kind to the Genin. Kibaku-Nendo have a very dangerous art and growing up people were worried that his art would hurt others around him. Therefore, he was often ostracized by the other children. Kouhei is not overly depressed by his isolated lifestyle, but it does leave him craving companionship. With little friends to call his own it is easy for him to cling to others who are willing to spend time with him. His loneliness has also resulted in his peculiar relationship with his art. Others with his ability only see their techniques as a form of creating art. Kouhei out of a desire to connect with something has come to view his art as a way to create friends. Every creation that he makes is named and when not used in battle he will often talk to them as if they were sentient beings who could understand and respond to his feelings. The relationship is a little on the unhealthy side, but Kouhei carries it on nonetheless. If given the opportunity Kouhei will leap at any chance to make friends and will often times try too hard resulting in them being scared off. Kouhei views becoming a shinobi as both a way to expand his art as well as make friends with the other shinobi of the village.
Creative: As an owner of his bloodline it is no surprise that Kouhei is creative. The shinobi has had a lot of time to work on his creations designing new forms for his clay to take and clever ways of using them. To most of his bloodline their creativity serves as a way to make art, but for Kouhei it is also a way to make friends and allies. Therefore, when utilizing his powers his mind isn’t just restricted by the simple school of thought used by others of his blood. His creativity goes beyond just clay work as well. Although he wouldn’t paint a picture or write a song his mind can take creativity in new directions in the right situation. Indeed because his art is a form of combat more often than not Kouhei will view a fight as its own form of art. Rather than seeing tactics and strategy Kouhei will view a battle and its forms as a show of elegance and striking beauty. The end result to the way his mind works might be similar in comparison to a strategist, but the steps taken to get to that point will differ greatly. However, this does not make him any sort of genius in combat merely capable of thinking outside the box now and then when given the right opportunity. A common saying of Kouhei’s is that sometimes in combat one must color outside the lines.
Loyal: Due to the nature of Kouhei’s loneliness the Genin is capable of profound loyalty. It is not overly difficult to earn Kouhei’s loyalty. One only needs to become close to him and call their self his friend. Performing that requirement is all one needs to do before Kouhei will do whatever he can to aid them. In Kouhei’s mind being someone’s friend is a pact that cannot be easily taken on or forsaken. The idea is a little naïve for a shinobi of one of the great villages, but is simply a byproduct of his upbringing. In a lot of ways it makes Kouhei easily manipulated and not the best trait for a shinobi. However, the poor guy just cannot help himself. It is difficult for Kouhei to see the lines of right and wrong when it is for someone who is his friend. This characteristic will no doubt cause future problems for the Genin as Kouhei finds friends on different sides and is forced to choose between one loyalty or the other. Until that time though Kouhei will do his best for his friends and no doubt find himself in trouble as a result. Only time will tell. - Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Allegiance: His Friends
- Quirks & Tendencies: Kouhei does have one distinct quirk. Being quiet lonely Kouhei has taken to treating his art as if they were truly living creatures and thus it is not strange for him to create a clay creation just so he can have someone to talk to and interact with. It is a trait that he does not try to hide and it isn’t strange for him to be having full-fledged conversations with his creations in broad daylight for anyone to see.
