Primary| Taijutsu-

As its name implies, a Primary type essentially the user's specialty. This shall be their best skill, and no other art will surpass it. Intrinsically you are better at this art than others that don't specialize in it, and as such, you are able to learn strongest techniques of this nature. All Primary types can learn jutsu of that nature up to 'S' rank.

Secondary| Ninjutsu-

Next in the step of type progression is Secondary. Although not quite your forte, you are nonetheless somewhat proficient at this art, still able to hold your own if forced to rely only on it. This means you can still learn the strongest jutsu, and excellent a bit above average at this. All Secondary types can learn jutsu of that nature up to 'B' rank.

Tertiary| Genjutsu-

For every strength, there must be a weakness. tertiary types refer to just that, whatever form of art you are least proficient at. Don't fret, you're still able to use some jutsu of that nature, but don't expect anything big! All tertiary types can learn jutsu of that nature up to 'D' rank.

Hotarubi wears a red jumpsuit, with various colored v-neck under tees, the jacket part has a white stripe and is left unzipped. Her pants are form fitting and stop a little below her knees, cuffed up. Her chokuto is strapped around her shoulder for easy use.
Body Appearance
Hotarubi is a very slim girl, but underneath her skin is toned muscle. Her build is petite and very skinny. She has blonde hair, usually worn in pig tails and she has freckles on her face. Hotarubi isn't a very tall girl, but she has long legs for her height. Her Hi-ate is worn tied around her right arm.

Personality

This girl here, she'd bite your head off in a moments notice at the words "short". Tiny and cute, but a feisty firecracker when pissed off this lolita got a hot head, and a sharp tongue. Beware her bite its venomous. Of course the most obvious is her rebellious attitude, shes easily pissed and even harder to cool off.

A little on the wild side Hotarubi is by far nothing short of an adventurous girl, she can get down and dirty and isn't afraid to play with the boys. The last thing she wants is to be classified as a "girly girl" Her tomboyish nature is mostly derived from her erratic behavior. Her expressions usual switch from appearing annoyed, to tired, to smirking. Its rare to find her smiling.

This is not to say she is never happy, it just happens that Hotarubi is a moody woman. Despite her looks she is quite old, and gets even more pissed when thought to be a child or younger than what she actually is. Violent, headstrong, overly blunt, and with the mouth of a sailor, Hotarubi is more than rough behind the edges. Shes a genuine diamond in the dirt.

Hotarubi can be a loud mouth at times, but she's actually obedient when around people use to her abrasive nature, most would think she was hiding something behind her persona, but in truth its just what it appears, no magic tricks or refracting lights. At heart despite all of her faults, the one thing Hotarubi will always do is protect. Its her most honest aspect of herself, yet her worst.

Because of her want to protect everyone, she easily attaches to others, and although most are girls who assume the big sister role, Hotarubi is the one who wishes to protect. One might say her desire is a direct cause of her own diminutive stature. She herself does not want to be a burden, yet at the same time she wishes for others to depend upon her.

special Oruhane is able to be folded open, due to the hinges crafted into it at its creation. This unique feature only takes a small flick of the risk to perform with a minuscule amount of chakra to pop the hinges unloose. Not only is Oruhane able to function as a blade, but also as a shield.
description At first glance Oruhane looks like your ordinary fat sword, folded many times over and over so that it has it thick, fat appearance. With one end sharp to a tea, and the other dulled for heavy, blunt impact. Once the special feature is unloosed the blade will appear as wide as the human body, resembling a meat cleaver. Although Oruhane is shorter than your typical claymore or heavy sword, but its weight is still the same as one.

Also, by swinging it akin to a baseball bat, it can reflect projectile jutsu of equal rank caliber because of the force behind its swing.

They have an open circle in the center, used for grabbing with a finger, to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through. Fuuton (Lit; wind release)-

Fuuton, or 'Wind Element', is an affinity based on wind power created by oneself, and the ability to control gales and currents to their liking, taking the form of wind based attacks. These can be huge gusts or sustained wind storms. Fuuton jutsu also enable large area attacks, hidden strikes, slicing attacks, abd even techniques made to throw opponents off balance. This release is moderately useful at both defensive and offensive purposes, making it an easy yet reliable release to acquire. Finally, Fuuton is typically a specialised offensive element, making it good for close to mid-range attacks.

Special: At the basic level, this technique allows the user to jump 5 meters. Each time retrained, however, another 5 meters are added on, until they have reached a maximum of 50 meters.
Description: Fuuton has a variety of uses, primarily offensive in nature, but this technique is one of the exceptions. The user performs three handseals and focuses their chakra into their legs. When they leap from their position, the wind itself will help them lengthen the height of their jump. By using more or less chakra the exact height can be controlled, but it does require a good judge of distance and fair chakra control to perform correctly.

Kamaitachi (Cutting Whirlwind)

Description: This jutsu was brought to fame by a legendary Suna shinobi from long ago, and was named after a mythical creature able to command the winds on a whim. After channeling wind chakra at either their weapon or limb, the user swings it around and brings forth a most intense tornado, coming out from the weapon/arm. Once it strikes the user, the tornado tips upward and takes the user up, keeping them imprisoned by the strong currents, and delivering multiple waves of cutting/slicing damage onto their bodies, as well as dropping them hard onto the ground afterward.

Description: A staple Fuuton technique, Daitoppa allows the user to blow a single strong current from their mouth, expelled in a cone like fashion forward which carries enough power to knock anything in its way down. This technique is very simple to execute – the user makes the right seals, simply takes a deep breath, and let’s go!

Fūton: Shinkūgyoku (Vacuum Sphere)

Special: The user can expel one (1) more bullet each time retrained. 10 max.
Description: Immediately following the three required hand seals, users of this jutsu will inhale deeply; taking in a great amount of air. Mixing the air with their own chakra, they will than expel up to five (5) small spherical bullets of wind. Each shot will be expelled simultaneously, leaving but a second to adjust for aiming purposes. The shots will travel at twice the speed, but do the same amount of damage as thrown projectiles. Piercing through clothing, to cut the flesh beneath.

Shinkūha (Vacuum Wave)

Special: Wind blade can travel 10 meters, plus 10 more each time relearned. Also when re-trained the user can fire up to one more blade of wind allowing yet another target.
Description: After performing the requires seals the user takes a deep breath and spins while exhaling, compressing the released air into a solitary blade of wind that covers a substantial area; roughly 10 meters around the user, due to their circular motion. Each blade of wind is exhaled a fraction of a second after the other while turning The resulting sharpened blast is large enough to slice through multiple targets located a significant distance from the user, causing grievous injuries amongst those hit, which may even prove fatal. Fires a total of three blades of wind able to strike a total of three opponents.

Fūton: Shinkū Taigyoku (Vacuum Great Sphere)

Special: When re-trained 10 meters is added onto Shinkū Taigyoku's total range and the size of wind blast increases by 5 meters.
Description: Being the mastered version of it's predecessor, this technique takes up the entirety of the inhaled breath. Much like with the Shinkūgyoku, they will allow the air to mix with their chakra; compressing the mixture into a large (5 meter) ball of wind to be expelled with great force. At speeds twice that of thrown projectiles, this jutsu soars towards its target in attempt to crush anything within it's path. The force of this wrecking ball can match the concussive force of five exploding notes, barreling through jutsu of equal prowess.

The winds are razor sharp, cover a wide area, and can cut through trees like butter.

Kousuku no Shunpo (Lit; Speed of Light Foot Techniques)

Foot techniques, the Taijutsu Master's response to Shunshin and other high-speed movements inspired by chakra from the ninja world, exist as a staple to any aspiring taijutsu master. Though the movement itself appears as some sort of chakra inspired feat, it is simply the Taijutsu Type displaying their prowess in natural, powerful movement. Requiring much training, foot techniques are not by any means the easiest; however, with sufficient training, the user may move about like the most experienced of Foot Technique users!

Special: Shunpo is much like Shunshin, a forward-moving high-speed technique that transports the user across a short space in the blink of an eye. When used, the user will rush almost instantly to wherever they are facing. The user can Shunpo once per thread, plus once more each time retrained. One cannot attack or perform techniques during Shunpo.
Description: Shunpo, a Taijutsu master's response to the Body Flicker Technique, relies solely on the user's ability to harness their inner ki and gain enough stamina to withstand the sudden strain imposed on one's legs. However, once properly trained, the Taijutsu Type will find their legs moving at speeds unknown to common man, to the point most would make the foolish mistake of assuming one is using Shunshin. However, unlike that chakra inspired run, Shunpo is pure stamina and movement skill, allowing for tighter, quicker, and more reactionary movements essential for someone that relies on movement. Although Shunpo itself moves in a single line, its many variations is what makes it so lethal.

Description: Although Shunpo is normally executed in a linear fashion, with enough training, the Taijutsu Master can learn to read an opponent's movement and Shunpo in a curved way towards their target's last known location. With the angled attack, it increases the user's ability to strike after the Shunpo.

Special: Allows another kick to be done while in the air, after successfully landing one kick.
Description: A simple Taijutsu manuever where the user takes to the air and delivers three sturdy straightforward kick while turning, with each new kick the user spins, to more effectively attack with the other leg. Once connected, the user can choose to deliver yet another kick. As long as the user has successfully hit something physical, they can remain within the air performing as many kicks as this jutsu allows. This does normal damage, but repeated hits upon the same section or vicinity can cause fractures or even breaks.

Kaiten Kakatou Otoshi (Spinning Heel Drop)

Special: If kick connects with head, the victim will most likely be stunned for half turn. Normally the user spins once before descending, but each time retrained, an additional spin is added, which adds more power and thus more stunning capabilities - equal to 1/2 a turn of stun added each time.
Description: A very basic but effective taijutsu attack, the Kaiten involves the user's leg in a reverse downward kick. After launching themselves into the air and begin to somersault, the user gains momentum within the chosen striking limb and come spinning down, laying their heels into the target's shoulders and head.

Shougekishou (Demolishing Rising Palm Thrust)

Range: 0 - 5 meters
Special: Knock-back range equals 5 meters, plus 5 more each time retrained.
Description: By unconsciously feeding their chakra into their palms, the user will quickly rush forward, driving the charged appendage forward and into their opponent. The result is devastating, with all the accumulated power of the palm being unloaded onto the user's victim. Finally, with all the chakra released, the opponent's body is knocked back several feet, left to rag-doll and wither.

Academy Ninjutsu

Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique)
Rank: E
Type: Supplementary / Ninjutsu
Range: 0 - 5 meters
Chakra: Very Low
Special: Switch is near-instantaneous. Kawarimi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained. However, the technique itself can only be used once per turn, regardless of retraining. Requires the user to switch with objects equal or smaller in size; cannot switch with other living people or animals.
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
