Instead, the Rengoku engages under the ideal of complete monopoly over the private warfare arena. With a number of profitable subsidiaries, the organization was founded to be a stand-alone organization, still privately owned and privately funded. Without investors, the board is remarkably controlled by the CEO, who also happens to be the organization's president. This leaves the organization impregnable from any outside investors, or would be buyers. With that being said, The Rengoku Organizations various subsidiaries are based around the continent, although many are simply dummy corporations in an attempt to hide many of the real, underhanded dealings that the organization partakes in. As a conglomerate, The Rengoku Organization does many things, however what it is most known for is its involvement in military training, event production and private contracting. While no where near as prominent as any samurai or ninja force, soldiers who have contracted with The Rengoku Organization have gone through intense training programs to make them at least on par with most military organizations throughout the continent. While there has been a steady decline in contract number and signings due to Rengoku's rapid decrease in quarterly profits, there are still some loyal contracts left, who are used accordingly. Aside from the green-collar work that the Rengoku engages in, there are also the subsidiaries that engage in blue and white collar work as well: In total, there are five subsidiary corporations: Rengoku International - The Rengoku Organizations original subsidiary, it is the only group to not immediately be considered a hoax from skeptical media outlets. Originally made to serve as a privately owned medical research facility in favor of Kaminari no Kuni, it would quickly span outward, setting up offices in various parts of the continent, and expanding its product to serve whomever might be willing to purchase the product. While not a premier or household brand in the medical sciences world, it is nonetheless familiar to those in the medical field, especially in Kaminari no Kuni, having become a 'hometown brand' to many. It would only be later that it would catch flak as a dummy corporation, being merely a front to hide Rengoku's plot to brainwash troubled youth. While nothing has been proven, Rengoku's lack of prowess in the medical sciences field has made the accusations nearly irrelevant, unworthy of investigation. Rengoku Business Order - The most recent subsidiary of The Rengoku Organization, the RBO is already a growing giant in the financial services field. Considered a micro-finance firm, the RBO has helped many small-time businesses flourish with their investments, giving them, and The Rengoku Organization access to many interesting and often times experimental product. While no where near as investigated as The Rengoku Organizations other subsidiaries, it has left many curious both of their intentions and their limit. With few micro-finance firms, it is clear that they are seeking an international monopoly in the field. Rengoku Banking - A run of the mill banking firm. Being the most affected subsidiary from media attacks, it is unsure if Rengoku Banking will last much longer. Making very little profit for the conglomerate, it is on its last legs. However, there have been rumors of a power play in the financial world, giving Rengoku product fandom something to look forward to in the banking world. It is assumed however, that if Rengoku Banking were to flourish on the same level that the RBO has, the financial world would be completely dominated by the Rengoku Organization... which is a daunting idea indeed. Rengoku Sciences and Technologies - The sister company of Rengoku International, RST is the applied engineering spin-off of the medical sciences company. Most known for their demolition designs, Rengoku has ample wholesale accounts, though has been known to have few retail locations in which people can purchase things such as trackers and binoculars. Much like its sister, RST is not a premier brand, and have been known to show many flaws as compared to their competitors, this has lead to many considering the company to be another dummy group, simply fed money in an attempt to hide the construction of something much more sinister. This has yet to be proven, however. The Rengoku Group - An essential group formed directly after Rengoku International. Serving as the Rengoku Organiztion's non-profit sector, it has been known to aid the rights of green-collar workers. Supporting many samurai and mercenaries in both protection of rights and offering slight financial assistance (shelters, food deliveries etc.), it has yet to branch into the shinobi market, partially because of a lack of interaction between the Organization and the hidden villages. It has been rumored however that dealings have been made with smaller villages, in an attempt to break that barrier. Paying nearly every worker as little as they can afford, it has lead to a steady deterioration in quality of their product. The main reason behind this is due to the waning health of the Organization's CEO and President: Honda Warui. Reaching nearly 112, the once powerful man has become desperate in an attempt to find an attempt to prolong his life. Having heard of the 'magic' of the shinobi world, he has invested most of his money, and the company's money into infiltrating the hidden villages in an attempt to find the key to his survival. With select agents having become official ninja of certain hidden villages, he has turned them into sleeper cells, under the guise of complete loyalty to their village. In some cases, specifically within Kumogakure, there is one agent which has infiltrated the village to the point of brainwashing children with no previous affiliation to The Rengoku Organization. I essentially want to make the Rengoku an available option for all characters, in order to serve as an interesting addition to the plot of NRP, and as a way to make money. This will however make all willing employees of the organization double agents [if part of a village], and all non-willing employees of the organization brainwashed sleeper cells. THE PRESIDENT AND CEO OF THE RENGOKU ORGANIZATION

Honda Warui once stood as a great man in the face of his competitors. With a bellowing stature, and a voice that commanded attention, he was the perfect business man of his time, and would no doubt still be a formidable force if not for his severely declining health. Where he once stood as a ruthless, driven man, he has begun to see the world in a much softer light. No longer does he strive to conquer the world, and no longer does he wish for the masses to recognize the effort that he has placed into the lap of his company, but instead, he longs for the most important thing that any man could want: life. Having been diagnosed with a life-debilitating disease, he has begun to count his remaining days. Spending his vast fortune on frivolous expenditures, he knows no bounds, and appreciates life for what it is. However, shortly after finding out about his disease, he heard a rumor of something that just might be able to keep him alive long enough to finish everything he had planned for his life. Coming from the vast mystery that is the ninja world, Warui is now enticed to the point of obsession about finding a secret 'ninjutsu' that has the capability of keeping him alive. With a small portion of money, and a small band of loyal followers, he has set out to find this technique and use it to his advantage.

THE VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE RENGOKU ORGANIZATION

Ibiki is the eldest of the Honda children, followed by his sister, Sukimo, and his brother Tadakatsu. Being the eldest, Ibiki has always felt a necessary compliance to his father, that he shows through hard work, and an intense dedication to the company. Without Ibiki's help, the company would not have risen to the status in which it had once been. Taking much pride in his accomplishments, Ibiki treats the company as though it is already his after his father's unexpected illness. Handling most affairs, he thinks of himself as already being under his ownership. Ibiki is a very intelligent, very driven man that will do literally anything for the company, which makes him often very serious and stern. His subordinates all fear him, with the exception of Mr. Kazuki who treats him more like a nephew than his boss. However, because of his drive, Ibiki has lost most of his friends, and confides in no one other than his sister, who he has been very close with since his adolescence.

THE CFO OF THE RENGOKU ORGANIZATION

Mr. Kazuki is easily considered the 'face' of the organization. Personally screening and meeting every employee and executive before entering the main branch of the company, every single employee will know him to be a sincere, and kind gentleman. Being quite young himself compared to the rest of the board, he is very business-savvy and has a great eye for investing. Where as the Hondas have been the enforcers of the company, often frightening their employees, Mr. Kazuki is the opposite. Ironically, it is his kindness which has solidified the bond between himself and Warui. Having grown very close to the president, he treats Warui like a father, and in turn is treated like a son by the old man. While Mr. Kazuki is very kind, he still holds the business above most of his life which has led to him only recently being married, and still without children. For the most of his time with the company however, the Honda children have been like his children, being the godfather of both Sukimo and Tadakatsu.

The Rengoku Organization has been following up on the number of applications it will be accepting. With the waning of its profitability, the company is resorting to desperate measures in an attempt to avoid bankruptcy as well as raising the chances of becoming an actual profitable endeavor. With most of the executives around simply due to their loyalty to Honda Warui, they are deploying a new set of contracts in an attempt to entice would be employees. From there, further tasks, positions and perks will be unlocked.

This mission will require that we aid any of our contracts in any way that they see fit, whether it be trouble with a manager, help around the house or helping them with a difficult task, we will be sure to follow through with them.

Description: While our contracts are our primary method of making money, we also have to protect the assets that are going to stick around. Whether it be helping a sheep rancher sheer his sheep, or putting up posters for a new restaurant, whatever you need to do to help them make money, do it!

We have an untold amount of competition on the market, all of which creating a remarkable amount of product, with new ideas and new marketing schemes. It's great to have a little competitive edge... but it's far more profitable to not. We want a complete monopoly over every field that we have decided to invest in. It is your job to take us one step closer to that by eliminating the competition that dares to challenge us. This isn't as simple as eliminating a factor, or a company's higher ups; we want complete demolition of this company and all of its assets. If its assets are salvageable, then make sure that they benefit the company... if they aren't? Burn them.

That means that we will provide their soldiers with weapons, armor, transport, medical tools, medicine and training. If we can secure a contract with a Daimyo, we will open ourselves up for an untold amount of money, marketing and general influence. This is a very important mission, so it may take some time and some schmoozing, but we're sure you can get the job done.

Description: Ninja villages are in a way a very powerful competitor for the organization. While we do not necessarily consider ourselves in the same arena, we are nonetheless both in the employ of the free market. Where any one can purchase a ninja for a job, just the same, anyone can purchase The Rengoku Organization contracts for a job. However, these villages are sanctioned under the rule of the Daimyo that they serve under. If we can somehow find a way to wedge ourselves into the eye of the ninja village leaders, then maybe we can not only make ourselves symbiotic to the village's profit, but also introduce a new training regiment to our troops and theirs. This will be a very precise and complicated mission, so you will have plenty of room to choose what sort of contract that would be best for both parties. Don't fail us... we rarely get a chance such as this.

Description: Rengoku International has a growing reputation. While it has never been a 'go-to' for just about anything in the medical field, it has always been a reliable, and inexpensive brand name. For that reason, we will try a different marketing route. Your job is simple: find a hospital that will buy our products exclusively. While they may not be willing to use our product for EVERYTHING, if we can get them to only purchase Rengoku tweezers, or Rengoku bedframes, that should do the trick. Public hospitals will be a bit easier given the number of contracts that they purchase, and the reduction that they get in their wholesale purchase. If you can get us a private hospital contract, we will see that you are paid more for your hard work. [C for Public, B for Private]

Description: Every once in a while, we'll get some characters that really shouldn't be doing anything with the RBO's money. However, they ahve slipped through our systems and have taken our money under the false pretenses that they will be profitable. When that situation comes, the solution is simple. Get out there, and get our money back. It's probably easiest to take a small group and scare them until they return the money, but in some cases, if you bribe them a little bit, you might be able to get them to shut down without any fuss.
