Their symbol, was that of a Dragon taking flight. The Kuroi Family was well known for their spies and their mastery of ninjutsu, primarily in the forms of elemental release. Kuroi Kosuke was well known as one of the most skilled, with his Katon Ninjutsu.[/style] [style=color: #000000; font-size: 24px; font-family: book antiqua; margin: -25px; text-indent: 30px; letter-spacing: -2px;]The Shiroi Family[/style] [style=background-color: #efefef; font-size:10px; line-height: 12px; color: #333333; text-align: justify; padding: 10px; font-family: book antiqua;]The Shiroi Family was the other of the two major crime families in Mizu no Kuni. Their symbol was that of a serpent coiling around its prey. The Shiroi were well known for their expert Taijutsu, chakra control, and Genjutsu which was employed to track, trick, and capture their enemies with skill. They had many rising stars, chief of which was a brother/sister team; Shiroi Katsuo and Katsumi. Katsuo was known for his skill in Taijutsu, and his employment of chakra control, without elemental release, to enhance the destructive power of his body. Katsumi was known as a woman of exceptional beauty, and amazing chakra control with Genjutsu, to make her beauty hypnotic on the battlefield.[/style] [style=color: #000000; font-size: 24px; font-family: book antiqua; margin: -25px; text-indent: 30px; letter-spacing: -2px;]Daisuke, his sister, and his past[/style] [style=background-color: #efefef; font-size:10px; line-height: 12px; color: #333333; text-align: justify; padding: 10px; font-family: book antiqua;]Among the other battles between criminal families, the Kuroi and Shiroi battled primarily for control of the criminal world. Such battles carried on for years and years, causing the deaths of many innocent and non-innocent people in the small villages of Mizu no Kuni. Eventually, an attempt a peace would be made. The two families arranged a marriage, to bind the two families together, to rule the criminal world in conjunction with each other, instead of fighting to the last, to decide who would lead. Shiroi Katsumi would be wed to Kuroi Kosuke, and with such a marriage hopefully peace would be attained. The first child of their pairing was a boy, named Kuroi Mosuke. Mosuke modled himself to be exactly like his father, and in more than just appearance, seemed to achieve such in time. Kuroi Hidesuke was the second child, another boy. He too, sought to please his father most of all. While he lacked the physical similarities, he did earn his brother’s, and his father’s, approval. The third child was a son yet again, Kuroi Kensuke. Finally, a girl was born, Kuroi Kiyomi. Kiyomi was beautiful even at a young age, and was clearly expected to rival her mother’s beauty, when she grew older. Mosuke was 3 when Hidesuke was born; Mosuke was 4, and Hidesuke 1, when Kensuke was born; and lastly, Mosuke was 6, Hidesuke was 3, and Kensuke was 2, when Kiyomi was born. For a total of twelve years, there was peace amongst the criminal families. One last child was born, when Mosuke was 12, Hidesuke was 9, Kensuke was 8, and Kiyomi was 6. Daisuke was born, Katsumi died in childbirth, and the peace crumbled. At some point, Kosuke actually fell in love with Katsumi, or perhaps she was merely tricking him. Either way, Kosuke blamed Daisuke for her death, and called him killer from that point on. Like their father, Mosuke, Hidesuke, and Kensuke hated Daisuke. Kiyomi did her best to make up for their mother, and take care of Daisuke. This merely earned her animosity from the rest of the family. Kiyomi could not learn her ninjutsu well, and the realms of taijutsu and genjutsu, that their mother’s side of the family excelled in, were equally not learned well. This was the prime dissatisfaction their father found. Father and Sons all hated Kiyomi and Daisuke, and punished them. At first, Daisuke would rebuke such. Once he learned how to speak, he would voice his anger to his father and brothers. This only earned him more punishment. Eventually, Daisuke would hide his anger, keep his retorts back, and lessen the pain he would have to endure. Yet this did not seem to help his sister. She saw no lessened pain, and was treated just as poorly through it all. When Daisuke was 8, he lost control of his restraints over his anger. His fury broke loose, and he killed his father and brothers. A voice echoed in his mind when his anger took over, and he let go to the owner of that voice, letting them do what had to be done. The Shiroi and Kuroi families were at war again, seemingly over the rights to raise the children. With the mother dead, and eventually the father dead, both families came after Daisuke and Kiyomi. Of course, the Kuroi were more careful and restrained. Daisuke had killed the father and three older brothers on his own after all. This did not stop the Shiroi family though. While they offered to keep the two safe from the Kuroi, there was doubt that the Shiroi could be trusted. Kiyomi was young when Katsumi had died, and Daisuke clearly never knew her. So they knew nothing of the Shiroi, avoided them as best they could, but eventually wound up in a fight. Daisuke lost control of his anger again, once more conceded to that voice he heard in his head, and let him do what had to be done. Daisuke killed Katsumi’s brother, Katsuo, but as he had the first time, when he awoke, he had no memory of what had happened to his sister. She was missing, and he feared she had died in the midst of it all. Despite such fear, he convinced himself to do all he could to find her, and the first thing he would need to do, was learn how to better handle himself in a fight, and not rely on the mysterious voice he heard. Before the fight against Katsuo, Daisuke took on the name Jett Yogiri, to avoid recognition of his criminal heritage. Kiyomi took on the name Reika Yogiri. Daisuke eventually enlisted at the academy in Kirigakure no Sato, and in less than a year, he would advance through graduation, and become a Genin.
