Not exactly an average frame, though definitely far from anything extravagant. He does, however, modestly take some pride in what genetics have given him. He stands at a height of six feet flat and weighs around one hundred and thirty five pounds. His hair, stringy and unkempt, falls elegantly from his crown. His eyes, both cold and calculating as well as warm and inviting, are as green as emerald gems. His physique is lean and agile, due mainly to his lifestyle and genes. His pale skin would appear to be flawless if not for a scar just above his left eyebrow, a remnant of a childhood memory.

Simplicity is something that has always intrigued the man, especially when it comes to attire. He feels that true beauty lies in simplicity, which is an ideal that shapes the way he appears. His clothes, like his body, are sleek and precise. A white, militaristic uniform is was he generally wears these days. His Hitai-ate is generally never seen on his forehead unless he's on a mission. It's usual spot is either around his neck or around his waist.

PERSONALITY:

Cunning is one of the first things to come to mind when describing Akatome. He's always been quite a crafty one, even is his youth. Throughout his life, Akatome has learned that if anyone ever lets anything slip that could be used against them, regardless of who they are, he would have to take a mental note of it. It is impossible to foretell when or if such information may be needed, but it's always better to be prepared.

Loyal to those who he deems worthy of his loyalty. Though secretive and probably difficult for others to put their trust in, Akatome does well to keep his word on things. If he's a part of something bigger than himself, something that rings true in his heart, he will stand by it and fight to protect it. The same goes with people and he won't leave someone for death, if they mean something to him, of course.

Aloof, apparently, but perhaps not truly. Yes, Akatome does have something of a knack for whistling tunes and talking to the sky like a child. The man seems to be aimless more often then not, which makes a number of his comrades question him and his merit as a shinobi. Yet, true to his aloofness, he rarely pays them any mind. Ripples in a pond are of far more importance.

Fuuton, or 'Wind Element', is an affinity based on wind power created by oneself, and the ability to control gales and currents to their liking, taking the form of wind based attacks. These can be huge gusts or sustained wind storms. Fuuton jutsu also enable large area attacks, hidden strikes, slicing attacks, abd even techniques made to throw opponents off balance. This release is moderately useful at both defensive and offensive purposes, making it an easy yet reliable release to acquire. Finally, Fuuton is typically a specialised offensive element, making it good for close to mid-range attacks.

It can be thrown, and upon contact with a solid object will detonate in a concussive explosion one meter in diameter.

Note: If the user chooses instead to give up Mid x2 worth of chakra, they can create two bombs - one in each hand. The explosion is the most powerful at the site of detonation. This technique was created by Addy.

Kaze Dangan is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element. The user performs a set of handseals, ending with Tiger, and holds it. A construct of condensed wind, bullet-shaped and -sized, forms at the tip of the fingers. By aiming at the opponent as if using a gun, they can fire this streamlined pellet at high speeds.

Note: The bullet travels in a linear path after being fired. Proper aiming is required, so opponents farther away are less likely to be hit. This technique was created by Addy.

Note: The user must know Kamaitachi in order to use this jutsu. While the winds have been shown capable of cutting clean through trees, they can be stopped by more resilient materials, such as iron and bone.


Kami Oroshi (Godly Winds From the Mountain)

Although basic, this jutsu is the commencement of the Kaguya’s bone manipulation to a hardness that will serve them for their own greater good. Once sensing they are losing by balance by extreme measures, such as strong wind currents or even blasts of energy, they will allow their bones to pierce their feet and into the ground, branching off underground in a form of hyper-growth based on the rooting of strong tree. From this point they shall remain until they choose to move on.


Hone Tsume (Violent Claw)

Using the power their blood has granted them, the Kaguya can cause their knuckles to push forward, outward from the hand and sharpening, working as a kind of claw-like weapon. This can also be done from the fingertips, allowing the bones within the finger to extend outward as opposed to the knuckle. These are excellent for quick, slashing attacks.

Note: The bone claws may grow up to a maximum of twelve inches.

The primary attribute of the Kaguya clan’s bones is that they are seemingly indestructible. They have been shown to be able to withstand severe amounts of pressure (sand burial and giant sand burial), as well as immunity to splitting beneath lacerations of any traditional caliber. This is the true gift of the Kaguya clan, allowing them to use themselves as both a shield and a weapon. For a taijutsu-specialized clan, there is no greater achievement.

Note: This technique was created solely for the sake of limitations. While the Kaguya clan do possess stronger than natural bones, it is this technique that must be employed to allow them to withstand truly unnatural levels of force (such as sand burial). This technique can be employed at any time, presuming the user has the chakra to facilitate it. However, it should be noted that truly devastating abilities (things like Kirin) will still cause unparalleled damage to the user.


Teshi Sendan (Ten Finger Drilling Bullets)

One of the only long-ranged techniques in the Kaguya’s arsenal, this allows them to “reach” their opponent even if not with their own hand. Through intense control of their body’s muscle and skeletal system, the muscles in the Kaguya’s fingertips begin to contract, pushing the bone in the fingertip out through the surface of the skin. At the users will, the bones will fire off as drilling bullets. These bones are powerful tools, capable of drilling through most standard defenses.

Note: The chakra cost applies to firing all ten bullets (one for each finger). However, even if a user decides to shoot only one bullet from a single finger, the cost does not lessen.


Tsubaki no Mai (Dance of the Camellia)

Tsubaki no Mai is the second of five dance forms. Using the Kaguya’s corpsebone ability to manipulate their bone structure, the user will remove a long bone in the form of a sword from their shoulder. Because of the bloodline, the density of the bone can be increased many times so that it is as hard as steel. The user then stabs chaotically and continuously which causes the opponent’s eyes to lag behind; the speed resembles afterimages, the hand with the sword is again and again visibly projected.

And yet the movement is irregular which makes it difficult to predict (for a normal eye, and beginning and secondary Sharingan). With each thrust the sword’s track is very capable of changing; the attack comes from unexpected angles, causing a person’s delicate defense reaction to come off guard.

Note: The sword in question cannot exceed a claymore in size. Furthermore, it should be noted that despite being as hard and durable as steel, this bone is virtually weightless.


Yanagi no Mai (Dance of the Willow)

The first of the five Kaguya dances. Using the abilities of their bloodline, the user will grow and multiple long, sharp bones from various parts of their body (one through each palm; one out of each elbow; one out of each knee, arching up; one from the back at the shoulder blades). These staves extend up to moderate lengths (one foot) and are razor sharp. Using fluid and precise movements, they will then proceed to impale their opponents much like an unpredictable, shaking willow tree.


Karamatsu no Mai (Dance of the Larch)

Karamatsu no Mai is the third of five dance forms. After activating their special chakra that allows them free-flowing bone manipulation, the Kaguya will begin to extend multiple bones from their body, protruding almost instantly from their flesh and out their rib cage, radius and ulna. Because they are hard as steel, these bones can act as a strong defensive mechanism against incoming strikes. Due to this they will also serve as an offensive attack to allow the Kaguya to move with little effort to impale their opponents.

Note: This technique essentially allows the user to cover a very large portion of their body in foot long pikes of hard-as-steel bone. This not only allows the user to effectively defend themselves more easily, but attack as well (see image).


Tessenka no Ma (Dance of the Clematis)

The fourth dance of the Kaguya style, Tessenka no Ma is separated into two separate parts: the Vine and the Flower. Both are used in conjunction with each other for optimal effectiveness against an opponent, because as how one is virtually useless without the other. The vine portion of the technique involves the Kaguya user removing their spinal cord, a process which drastically increases its length as they do so (up to five meters long) in an effort to use as an incredibly potent whip. The second half, known as the flower, involves condensing a very large portion of bone with a very high amount of chakra, and then enveloping one of the user’s arm in this sheath-of-a-pike-like weapon. Due to its size, and the sheer amount of power put into creating it, the “flower” is harder than any steel and can easily pierce even the most impressive barriers.

Note: In order for the user to effectively use this technique, they will need to offer an increment of 2x High to in order to produce both the “vine” and “flower” aspect of the jutsu. By offering just a single High, they user will be able to choose which portion of the technique they wish to manifest; they can, at any time this technique is active, bring forth the other half (though it will still cost them the chakra requirement).

The moment that a user refuses to fuel the drain of this technique, the bone used to facilitate it will instantly shatter into harmless fragments.


Sawaribi no Mai (Dance of the Seedling Fern)

Sawarabi no Mai is the fifth and final dance of the Kaguya style. After activating their highest level of special chakra, the Kaguya quickly grows a multitude of tall spikes from their body to create a large forest of bones; this bone genesis takes place incredibly quick, and since it shares the unique bloodline trait that renders the Kaguya user’s bones as hard as steel, they will move effortlessly to strike anything in their path and render it a slashed up mush. While in this form, the Kaguya can merge into the bone trees to attack their target from whichever spike they want to, moving at frightening speeds from within their fortress of ivory.

Note: Unlike the series, this bone forest will be dramatically reduced in size. Rather than an entire expansion of rolling hills, this bone forest will expand up to a maximum of twenty-five meters in all directions (this means in height, as well). The ability to merge with this forest will only be viable for five posts following the forests creation. Furthermore, this ability takes a full post of preparation (in which no other jutsu may be cast).

HACHIMONTONKOU 700 EXP

The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By opening these gates, the user can surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own bodies.

Kaimon (Gate of Opening)

The first stage of the Eight Gates, the Gate of Opening is located in the brain, and upon activation, releases the brain's restraints, allowing full power usage of the body's muscles. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use extremely strong techniques, such as the Iron Fist's Frontal Lotus.

Due to the intense flow of chakra released by opening this gate, the user is capable of immediately disrupting any and all genjutsu of d-rank and lower. This gate grants the user increased feats of strength, roughly x2 that of your average shinobi. Because of this increase in strength, a marginal increase in speed is also obtained (due to the muscles being able to generate more power). Upon deactivating this gate, the user will suffer a "fatigue" duration equivalent to the total time the gate's effects were active.

Note: Accessing this and the subsequent techniques require than the user have mastered a single fighting style (all three mastery points spent within it).


Kyuumon (Gate of Rest)

Located within the spinal cord, the third gate, the Gate of Life, begins to prepare the body for extreme movement and muscle destruction. Enemies without refined dojutsu (any non-Uchiha or Hyuuga) have a very difficult time keeping up with the user's movements, as this gate gives off the appearance of simply vanishing and reappearing on a whim. However, the user's body is left intact for the most part, as this new level brings the user mostly benefits. A notable feature of this gate is that the user's skin suddenly begins to turn red.

Due to the intense flow of chakra released by opening this gate, the user is capable of immediately disrupting any and all genjutsu of c-rank and lower. This gate grants the user increased feats of strength and speed, roughly x4 that of your average shinobi. Upon deactivating this gate, the user will suffer a "fatigue" duration equivalent to the total time the gate's effects were active. During this fatigued period, the player will only be able to use taijutsu-based techniques of a-rank and below.

Located within the spinal cord, the fourth gate, the Gate of Wound, further's the body's destructive potential, evident by a more intense shade of red taking the user over, as well as a powerful aura that flows all around them. With this gate in effect, enemies without a refined dojutsu (any non-Uchiha or Hyuuga) have an extremely difficult time comprehending the user's movements; they're barely able to make out a blur. Furthermore, even those possessing the fabled Sharingan and Byakugan now have a high difficulty keeping track of actions executed at such a high speed. At this point, the user's muscles slowly begin to tear from use.

Due to the intense flow of chakra released by opening this gate, the user is capable of immediately disrupting any and all genjutsu of b-rank and lower. This gate grants the user increased feats of strength and speed, roughly x5 that of your average shinobi. Upon deactivating this gate, the user will suffer a "fatigue" duration equivalent to the total time the gate's effects were active. During this fatigued period, the player will only be able to use taijutsu-based techniques of b-rank and below.

Located within the abdomen, the fifth gate, the Gate of Closing, further's the body's destructive potential, evident by a more intense shade of red taking the user over, as well as a powerful aura that flows all around them. Typical shinobi simply cannot comprehend the user's movements past this point, and are often struck before they even realize what has happened. Those possessing the aforementioned dojutsu (Sharingan and Byakugan) can rarely catch a glimpse of the user's movements, though nothing more of a muddled blur and hardly coming in use for anything battle related. This gate causes severe trauma to the user's body, as both their muscle tissue and skeletal structure are heavily damaged from the strain this gate causes.

Due to the intense flow of chakra released by opening this gate, the user is capable of immediately disrupting any and all genjutsu of b-rank and lower. This gate grants the user increased feats of strength and speed, roughly x6 that of your average shinobi. Upon deactivating this gate, the user will suffer a "fatigue" duration equivalent to the total time the gate's effects were active. During this fatigued period, the player will be unable to use any form of taijutsu. Once the fatigued period is finished, they will only be able to use c-ranked taijutsu and below for the remainder of the thread.

Located within the 'stomach', the sixth gate, the Gate of Joy, further's the body's destructive potential, evident by a more intense shade of red taking the user over, as well as a powerful aura that flows all around them, causing any loose and malleable substances such as water to swirl and vortex around the user. At this point, visualizing the user (even with the aid of a dojutsu) is all but impossible while at full speeds. The user, quite literally, seems to simply vanish and appear where they wish. The free flowing chakra and life energy is almost a pleasurable feeling, the being of joyfulness. Unfortunately, the pain and damage caused to the user's body by this gate is quite extensive, nearly double that of the fifth gate.

Used mainly by extremely powerful or physically dominating opponents, it aims to smash the opponent and even cause extreme extranal damage, such as broken bones. Less graceful and more physical, strength is key behind these techniques, as well as an overall sense of balance. In short, a Goken master is not to be taken lightly.

Asakujaku (Morning Peacock)

The Morning Peacock is a certain-kill taijutsu born from the philosophy of Goken. The principle of this taijutsu is to rapidly increase the body's abilities by opening up to and including the sixth of the Eight Gates, and then to strike the enemy down with countless punches. The technique is started by kicking the enemy into the air, which for most would be an instant kill. The user then jumps into the air in a distinctive stance and begins punching the enemy repeatedly. The speed of the punches is so fast that they are set ablaze by sheer speed and friction. This creates a peacock-like fan of flaming chakra around the opponent. Once the attack is finished, the enemy will be sent crashing back to the ground, covered with the attack's aura.

Note: Usage of this technique requires that the user be under the influence of the Sixth Gate. Furthermore, this technique is capable of attacking up to five targets simultaneously with equal lethality. Like most techniques dealing with multiple hits, presuming the first connects, the subsequent plethora of others will, as well.

ACADEMY xxxx EXP

Before becoming full fledged Genin, each aspiring shinobi must first pass the shinobi academy. Aside from the obvious lessons one would learn from a Ninja Academy, all students receive essential knowledge, such as reading, writing, mathematics, science, geography, etc. Even kunouichi are given valuable lessons, taught things about other cultures and how knowledge of things like flower arranging will help them to blend in during an infiltration mission. Special lectures read by highly experienced shinobi are sometimes held.

UNIVERSAL NINJUTSU 100 EXP

Ninjutsu refers to any technique that utilises chakra and allows the user to perform actions that a normal person otherwise would be incapable of doing. Unlike genjutsu, which causes the opponent to experience illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are actual and physical in most cases. Ninjutsu relies on chakra and, most of the time, hand seals to be effective.

Fuubaku Houjin is a Ninjutsu technique used by shinobi in conjunction with common explosive devices such as exploding notes. With this, the user can choose when their explosives detonate, opposed to being at the mercy of a countdown.
Note: This ability allows the user detonate his or her explosive notes, opposed to allowing them to be "timed" explosives. Without this technique, the user cannot automatically detonate their tags.

Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)

A powerful jutsu intended to call forth aid when in dire need, Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon a a variety of entities and items meant to assist them in a dire situation. From people to animals, to inanimate objects such as weapons and items, these creations come forth out of thin air near-instantly after the seals are done and into the battlefield. Keep in mind each summoning in question requires a previous contract to be filled out. Finally, signing this contract also allows said summoning to be able to reverse summon the human ninja to their own location.

Note: All summons have their own chakra cost, which the user will need to meet in order to bring them forth. In terms of inanimate objects, the user can summon up to ten secondary weapons for a Low amount of chakra (per summoning); on the other hand, they may summon up to five primary weapons for a Mid amount of chakra (per summoning).

UNIVERSAL TAIJUTSU xxxx EXP

Taijutsu is a basic form of techniques that typically does not require chakra, though chakra may be used to enhance its techniques. Taijutsu generally require no hand seals to perform, occasionally making use of certain stances or poses, and are much quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is simply put: hand-to-hand combat.
