Special: The range at which the shadow can operate is dependent on the user's 'Kage Mane'. The separated shadow has a chakra reserve equal to x2 high. The separated shadow is only capable of using Nara jutsu that the user knows. The shadow also replicates any weapons the user has on their person at the time, though they cannot use any ranged weapons unless the user knows Kage Mane Shuriken no Jutsu. The distance between the clone and creator is subtracted from the range of any Nara jutsu the clone uses. The user is incapable of using Nara jutsu as long as his shadow is separated. The shadow can exist until the user calls it back or if it suffers an extreme amount of damage (severed head, cleaved in half, etc.)
Description: By severing the direct link between himself and his shadow, the user is capable of imbuing enough chakra into his shadow for it to move as its own being. The shadow is fully cognitive but can still receive orders from the user on a mental link. The shadow is a spitting image of the user, the only difference is that its entirely black, like that of an attached shadow.

Special: The range at which the shadow can operate is dependent on the user's 'Kage Mane'. The shadow can only be captured after the target has been caught in the user's Kage Mane no Jutsu. The user cannot move as long as the captured shadow exists. The captured shadow has a chakra reserve equal to that of the target at the time of capture. The captured shadow is capable of using Nara jutsu and Taijutsu the target knows barring any specialized techniques (Gates, Clan/Bloodline Taijutsu). The shadow also replicates any weapons the target has on their person at the time, though they cannot use any ranged weapons unless the user knows Kage Mane Shuriken no Jutsu. The distance between the shadow and user is subtracted from the range of any Nara jutsu the shadow uses. The user is incapable of using Nara jutsu as long as the target's shadow is captured. Any damage dealt to the shadow is transferred to the target once their shadow is returned depending on the rank of the technique used. The shadow exists for two turns at B rank, three turns at A rank, and four turns at S rank or until it suffers an extreme amount of damage (severed head, cleaved in half, etc.).

Description: Building of off the Kage Rikaku no Jutsu, the user is capable of taking shadow manifestation a step further. After capturing the target's shadow, the user is capable of severing the connection between the target and their shadow, manifesting it into a clone of sorts under the user's control. The shadow is a spitting image of the target, the only difference is that its entirely black, like that of an attached shadow.

No. Unless you place that much chakra into something, it simply isn't going to have that much. The way it's worded, you'd be essentially doubling your chakra for paying a Mid cost. If you meant something else, which I hope, clarify.

So. . . are these shadows stuck to the ground? or do they pick themselves up and act like a clone?

Also the damage transfer on the second technique is 100% not doable.

There's not much benefit from taking their shadow otherwise, and the only way they could die from it is the abrasive shock of the pain (which is only plausible at S-Rank) since the physical damage done to the clone doesn't transfer, meaning their head doesn't magically fall off if his shadow's was severed. Not to mention they actually have to be captured first.

Honestly this just looks like Kage Bunshin. . . . but with less cost and the same utility.

as for the second one , if the damage transfer is the reason you want it, then I'll have to deny it, since it isnt plausible at all.

It can only use Nara jutsu and whatever non-specialized Taijutsu the target MAY have, thats not even close to Kage Bunshin in utility. Not to mention the clone is only capable of existing with the range of the user's Kage Mane, and the distance it is away from the user just eats into the range of his Kage Mane if he wants to use another shadow tech.

And why isn't the damage plausible, like I still don't know why, the damage isn't even the pulling point of the technique but without it it does lose a lot of its point since nine times out of ten the target doesn't even actually need their shadow for anything so simply taking it does little, ESPECIALLY if they have no Taijutsu for the shadow to copy. Its a lot of prep work to even steal it in the first place so like....yea......

After some c-box debate I wanted to clear up some misconceptions about the second technique.

• The user and target lose their shadow, meaning that the target becomes immune to all Nara jutsu except Shadow tendrils, and the user is not capable of using any FROM HIMSELF, only the captured shadow.
  
  
• The target can break out of the Kage Mane before their shadow even gets stolen.
  
  
• The damage transfer is incapable of killing the target from one use AT ANY LEVEL. Meaning until the user increases his chakra reserve, he can only use the S-Rank once, which doesn't kill from one time use.
  
  
• The shadow actually has to be hurt for any damage to be transferred, and the user killing the shadow himself is more detrimental since the chakra to damage ratio isn't equal because it can't actually kill or leave any physical damage on the target's body.
  
  
• Added in that the user cannot move during the technique so that the user's Kage Mane is the ULTIMATE range of the shadow and any jutsu the shadow may use.
  
  
• The distance the shadow is from the user is subtracted from any Nara jutsu the shadow uses, meaning if the shadow is 10 meters from the user and the user's max Kage Mane range is 15, the shadow's jutsu only extends 5 meters.
  
  
• Even if the user has the second tier Nara mastery the shadow's range does not refresh should it come in contact with another shadow.
  
  
• The captured shadow is not attached to the target once successfully stolen, it is a free roaming entity.
  
  
• Obviously can't be used without a light source, as with all Nara jutsu.
  
  
• The first and second jutsu obviously can't be used together.

I like the inherent concept of a nara brand 'shadow' clone...but not when it has the same basic function/utility as an elemental clone. I honestly think these need to be reworked; the first technique, aside from the chakra cost which would definitely need to be higher, would need some sort of maintenance maintenance cost; it can't just 'exist' as long as you want it to. The second technique is just jam packed with things that don't seem to make alot of sense; I understand the thought process behind 'the persons shadow has moved with them and performed every normal taijutsu technique they have'...at least, I understand it as an imaginative way of looking at things. But the problem comes from the fact that someone elses shadow...is just what happens when their body blocks light. It doesn't learn or retain information. It would make slightly more sense if it simply could perform any non-specialized technique that the original bearer performed after you used this, as it's still their shadow. There's also the damage transfer issue (which is still an issue) that Hotaru pointed out.
