Hotarubi is a daring, reckless, and chivalrous girl. Flexible, she is very adaptable to new situations often handling them with no signs of problems. A very closed girl, Hotarubi is empathetic towards others, though sometimes she can seem very indifferent at times due to her lone-wolf ways. While at times she seems like a loner, she enjoys the company of other people. Hotarubi can be really humorous often making jokes with or about others. Conformity? Screw that. Hotarubi is anti-authoritarian, anti anything dealing with hierarchy. She despises those in powers who try to leash the free world. She's the rebellious, optimistic type who takes the pragmatic approach to life often going with the flow- with whatever works, which can sometimes lead to problems or tight situations. One wouldn't know by simply assessing her on appearance, but Hotarubi can be very fickle at times, causing problems for those around her. Stubborn, her obstinate ways can make her a real pain to persuade, she can be really possessive and selfish, though she looks like the type to not care, shes actually very moody. Thats just the kind of girl she is. Hotarubi can be very tomboyish for a girl, though this doesn't shadow her womanly side at at all and for some it may even accent it due to her tsundere like qualities.

Tier One - Explosive Ordnances: Through learning to refine and compact their explosive chakra even further, the user now possesses the ability to generate even more powerful explosions for the same amount of chakra. Because of this, the range of all Kubaku-Nendo explosions have been increased by a total of two meters.

Tier Two - 'Bomb' Voyage: Arguably the most long-ranged fighters in all the world, members of the Kibaku-Nendo pride themselves on how far their creations can travel from their person. Seeking to push their limits to all new heights, user’s with this mastery will have an additional twenty meters added to their maximum Kouguchi Bakuha range.

Tier Three - Sometimes, it’s Quantity over Quality: Kibaku-Nendo are renowned for their magnificent “art,” which is said to be the heart of all of their techniques. However, there are some young “artists” who feel that the amount of work they do, while somewhat less refined than their predecessors, will come out on top in the end. With this mastery, Kibaku-Nendo users can now:

C1: Generate up to three creations with one standard blob of clay (per hand). However, due to the hastiness in creating so many bombs at once, the explosive power in each bomb is automatically reduced to no more than one meter (regardless of the tier one mastery).

C3: Generate up to two specialty creations per two globs of clay. However, due to the strain of creating such large creatures at once, their explosive power is automatically reduced to no more than three meters (regardless of the tier one mastery).

This mastery can be chosen to be put into effect, or not, the moment that the user begins crafting their technique. It is in no way automatic, and should the user not mention it in their post, they will, by default, be considered to be using the “non-mastery” form of the aforementioned techniques.

Special: The foundation of all a Kibaku-Nendo’s techniques, this determines the power placed behind the clan member's clay explosions when a hand-mouth is molding clay, as well as the maximum range that the bombs can travel away from the user before detonating. Explosive power does not correlate directly to the distance traveled (i.e a five meter explosive bomb doesn’t have to travel fifty meters; it can travel anywhere from zero to fifty meters while retaining the maximum explosive power). It should be noted that creations which step outside of the user’s range instantly become “duds,” as in they lose their explosive properties (even if re-entering the user’s range). All techniques, unless specified otherwise, require one "glob" of clay in order to be created.

Description: Said to be the clan member's most gross yet most fundamental power, the ability to control one's hand-mouths is the key towards victory or defeat on the battlefield. With the hand-mouth open and ready for clay, the user learns to feed it and near-instantly send their Bakuton chakra into their creation, carried by how well they can control Blast chakra. However, after a second or so, the hand-mouth spits out the user's full representation of explosive power within their clay creation, allowing the Kibaku-Nendo to proceed further with other clan techniques. As for detonation? Through the simple formation of 'Katsu' - the single seal that symbolizes standard explosive note blasts everywhere.

Kibaku Iritsuku (Clay Infusion Point)

Special: The actual grunt work of the Kibaku-Nendo’s abilities, this technique involves the user’s ability to actually mold the clay into the desire creatures. With the exception of the Get Away Bird technique, all other “creations” cannot be used in the same post that this technique is employed.
Description: Though it is crucial the clan member awakens their hand-mouth in order to even have a shot at mastering the Kibaku-Nendo clan techniques, with time and practice, they can get faster and faster at making their explosions, regardless of the clay's size, shape, or rank of explosion. In the end, once the mouth grows comfortable chewing on a certain piece of ranked clay, it will surely create the next one in less time!

When first learned, this technique can only create one creature per blob of clay (per hand). However, each new rank adds one additional creature, up to a maximum of five per blob of clay (per hand).
Description: Simple but deadly, this effective combat technique allows the clan member to use their clay to fashion creatures and animals capable of bearing their unique Bakuton chakra. After withdrawing a bit of clay from their pouch, the clan member will use either hand-mouth in the palms of their hands in order to consume the it, in the process infusing it with Blast chakra. The result are these small animated clay-dolls that often resemble animals and insects of nature. Best of all? Depending upon which variation is created, they will retain the abilities of the creatures they where modelled after - i.e. those resembling birds can still fly, those resembling fish can still swim, those resembling insects can still crawl on surfaces, etc.

Kibaku Nendo • C2 Doragon "Shī Tsū" (Exploding Clay • C2 Dragon)

Special: Creates a large dragon capable of flight and attacking purposes. In order to control the dragon, the user must establish direct contact between themselves and any part of the dragon's body, so that the chakra can properly commingle. Dragon may fly anywhere regardless of contact, but can only attack with it established. Size of Dorago, range of missiles, and explosive power of missiles and landmines is determined by the user's highest 'Kouguchi Bakuha' rank; creation time is determined by the user's highest 'Kibaku Iritsuku' rank. Missiles have an explosive range of 10 meters, while mines cover an area of 5 meters with each blast. Clay missiles travel at moderate speeds. Only one dragon may exist at a time. Rank determines the amount of mines and missiles that can be used before the dragon is consumed and must be remade. Requires 10 standard clay blobs.

Description: One of the Kibaku-Nendo's specialties, this grand technique requires the use of both of hand-mouths in order to create a large dragon capable of flight, to the point the user can safely ride on its back. During this ride, the user can control the dragon, directing it where to go, and even to attack - the dragon can spit out smaller clay figures that attack the opponent like guided missiles, as well as other offensive tactics. These independent missile-like creatures take the form of a greatly reduced version of the larger dragon that created them, yet despite the decrease in size they are still relatively larger than a normal person. Each is capable of tracking their intended target and producing a significant explosion proportional to size upon contact but as they emerge, they consume a substantial amount of clay from the original dragon, initially extracting it from the creature's tail. This ultimately limits the number that each C2 "Dragon Missile" is capable of creating, before clay must be sacrificed from more vital areas, such as the body or wings. The dragon can also produce clay mines at the expense of clay, that take the form of small spherical creatures, which can be subsequently manipulated to force opponents to fight in a limited space. In the end however, all of this is only possible if the Kibaku-Nendo works hard and trains harder!

Kibaku-Nendo • C1 "Shī Wan" Tora Nigeru (Exploding Clay • C1 Getaway Bird)

Special: The “getaway bird” has a two meter wingspan. This creation is only capable of sustaining the weight of one or two average sized people. Despite being used more for transportation, the Getaway Bird is capable of detonating like a typical bomb; explosion power depends on the user’s highest Kouguchi Bakuha rank. This technique can only move as far away from user as highest ranked 'Kouguchi Bakuha' known (which means should the user be on it, the bird can travel indefinitely). Requires two standard clay blobs. Unlike standard creations, this bird can move exceptionally fast and possesses a very high-end mobility and thusly can perform very impressive evasive maneuvers while in flight.
Description: Molding clay into a tiny bird about the size of a C1 bomb, the user can then perform a special handseal to make the the bird expand into a size in which it can hold one or two people and sustain flight. Just like C1, the user can control where the bird moves, but what differs this bird from what's created in C2, is the size and the inability to do anything other than support the user for flight and explode.

Nendo Keishiki (Clay Formation)

Special: While time for a rock to turn into clay is forcibly shortened, process still takes a full two turns at 'C' Rank, and one turn at 'B' rank. The user must keep at least one hand on the rock at all times. At c-rank the user is capable of turning the rock (it must fit into the palm of your hand) into one glob of clay; a b-rank the user can generate two blobs of clay per rock.
Description: Clay is naturally made through long periods of time, which involve weathering away at rocks. For people who use clay for battle or crafting this can be a hassle to wait for. With this jutsu, the user can take any decent sized rock nearby about the size of their palm(or if they have a method of pulling a chunk of earth from the ground), they can use their chakra to speed up this process. Their chakra working miracles as the rock will wither away before their eyes, turning into clay. Once the process is done, it will possess the properties of any piece of clay naturally made. This can be conventional for Kibaku-Nendo members in need of clay.

Kibaku Nendo • C3 "Shi Shuri" (Exploding Clay • C3 [Specialty #18 Jutsu!])

Special: The more refined version of the lesser C1 jutsu, the C3 specialty allows the user to create a single unique creature. These creatures can either fly, walk, or swim (one or the other; cannot combine) regardless of how awkward they may or may not look. These creatures retrain a fairly high level of mobility and maneuverability, and thusly move considerably faster than their C1 counterparts. Only one C3 creation can be conjured at a time. These creations require two blobs of clay to create.
Description: The Kibaku-Nendo's most powerful large scale bomb, it is a terribly powerful use of Blast chakra that can decimate large areas almost instantly. After preparing the explosive clay for this attack into a more portable, handheld form, the miniature clay creation bares an appearance exactly the same as the larger version. Once activated, the bomb instantaneously increases its proportions before being subsequently dropped, where it extends both its "arms" outwards until they are completely horizontal. Upon contact or command, the explosion begins.

Kibaku Nendo Bunshin (Exploding Clay Clone)

Multiple clones can explode either simultaneous or in order; how it goes is up to the user - just keep in mind each explosion consumes chakra individually. Requires five standard clay blobs.
Description: As its name implies, the Exploding Clay Clone is just that - a clone comprised of the clan member's famed clay, which, when infused within their hand-mouths with the power of Blast chakra, can be detonated. Additionally, should one's opponent become intertwined with the clone, they will be held in place and unable to maneuver due to the thick density of the clay. Because of this, this clone can take attacks and capture the enemy by taking them into its own body. The clone shows its natural shape the instant a body goes through. While the clay changes in hardness, the enemy is skilfully immobilized. How are they detonated? Through the classic 'Katsu!' that triggers all Kibaku-Nendo explosions.

Kibaku Nendo • C4 "Karura" (Exploding Clay • C4 Garuda)

Special: Creates a clay clone of the user that quickly grows in size and explodes, revealing the bombs. Unlike standard creations, this unique bomb takes four full posts to create. The C4 explosion cover a 50 meter base radius. Internal disintegration is near-instant once the user triggers the internal bombs. Requires 20 clay bombs.
Description: One of the most dangerous Kibaku-Nendo techniques, the clan member creates a giant doll that is shaped like themselves from their clay. When it ruptures, a cloud of microscopic bombs are released. Impossible to be seen by a normal person, the bombs will enter the bloodstream of anyone who inhales them, as they are smaller and finer than dust itself. Once there, the countless micro-bombs explode at user's command, causing the victims' bodies to disintegrate at the cellular level, literally turning them into dust.
In creating this jutsu, the user eats the clay with their own mouth as opposed to the ones on their hands. It is important to note that the cloud of microscopic bombs contains chakra, so if the target possesses some means to see or sense chakra, then they stand a better chance of moving to avoid the attack.

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)

Special: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction.

However, when a clone is defeated or chooses to disappear, whatever remaining chakra within their bodies, as well as their knowledge, returns to the user. The only exception is 'Bunshin Bakuha', which sacrifices the chakra return for a grand explosion. This technique can only be learned by Jounin ranked shinobi; no exceptions!
Description: Kage Bunshin is an advanced, forbidden Ninjutsu technique, which grants the user the ability to create a tangible clone. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. However, Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance, to the point the clone can utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, and spawns with any equipment the user has one them at the time of the summoning. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

Description: The user creates a thousand shadow clones from one shuriken, striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. Description: A follow up technique to the regular Kage Bunshin, Bunshin Bakuha is an advanced ninjutsu technique utilized by highly skilled and ranked shinobi in order for them to detonate a regular Shadow Clone at impressive levels. Once a normal Kage Bunshin is created, the user can detonate the clone at any time to form a very large explosion. The entire amount of chakra left within the clone forms the energy behind the blast, and although it lacks fiery properties, the sudden blast and subsequent implosion/explosion phase is enough to blast through rock easily, leaving serious dents in steel/metal creations

Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique)

Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log) the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance that, although easily seen through by those with doujutsu, can fool the normal eye easily. Why? Simply because although without substance, the copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent, though no real damage can be done by it. Finally, as soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Description: Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.
