APPEARANCE —
The first idea that people get from looking at Zaiaku is that they believe he is a girl. This is in fact incorrect, and will often generate a heated rampage by the very offended Zaiaku. He carries various feminine characteristics; smooth skin, long hair, soft lips, a slender body frame and of course the makeup. The reasoning behind this is that in his family lineage there was once a member of the Yukina Clan that had married into his family. Her DNA brought the unique bloodline trait where the males of the family grew without the development of masculine features and thus were believed to be women. It is just believed that Zaiaku ended up with the wrong-end of the genes and received this feminine trait, something that he is never too pleased about.APPAREL —
He has soft porcelain skin and although spends a lot of time out in the sun in the fields of Iwagakure, his skin never seems to tint to a browner shade. He does tend to get burnt quite easily; often using his black hair to cover his face, ears and neck region from the harsh rays of the sun, and often wearing long clothing to add even more protection. He has no major scarring on the surface of his skin, other than a few grazes from when he was younger caused by kunai accidents and the occasional tripping over. However, another very unique trait that Zaiaku holds is that he has a hand-mouth in the palm of his left hand. This, used in combination with various bloodline limit techniques and his 'explosive' personality, can bring out the inner flare within him. As he is right-handed, he will often keep his left hand in his pocket or wear a glove over it to hide the fact that there is a mouth in his palm - which isn't really something to be considered 'normal'.
He has an average body size for his age, standing at 175 centimetres and weighing in around 60 kilograms. Although he possess these feminine traits, it hasn't seemed to affect his height so much as statistically males grow taller than females on average. However, he does have a very fast metabolism that can cause his food digestion rate to accelerate very quickly and thus make him quite slim. He is known to exercise quite a bit, trying to keep his body in a fit shape in order to perform well in his various tasks as a shinobi. He believes that already his feminine features cause him to be looked down upon by other shinobi, thus aiming to keep his fitness levels and body shape in top condition to be prepared for any strenuous activities that he may be involved in.
As described before, his facial features resemble closely to that of a female. His eyes are quite narrow and are outlined with blue mascara to accentuate their definition. Makeup is a preference of Zaiaku as he does not believe it is restricted only to females to wear. His usage of it is for the purpose of defining the glare in his eyes and he uses it as a sort of 'battle art'. It is a very unique blue, drawing the attention immediately of anyone who looks at him directly. Around his eyes is the only area where he wears makeup. His hair is very long flowing and is the shade of blonde. He brushes it down one side of his face and clears it away from his other eye. He prefers it to be out of his face, a look that he has picked up across the years and has grown to maintain it every time he gets his hair cut. It extends down to the very back of his neck.
Zaiaku is the type of person that doesn't attempt to make any fashion statements with the type of clothing he wears. He tries to keep it fairly plain and simple, only wearing what he needs to wear and nothing more. Although gifted with feminine bodily characteristics, he despises the idea of shopping for clothes and finds it a complete waste of time and ryō. Zaiaku tries to wear clothing that suits his personality. He is rather quiet and calm sometimes, yet explosive and aggressive when pissed off. Thus at times he will wear dark blacks and greys to resemble his serious side in combination with vibrant reds, oranges and yellows to accentuate his rampant inner nature.
On his torso he wears a long-sleeved black cotton shirt that is quite loose around his neck. The sleeves extend on both sides down to either hand and hang loosely onto his palms, oven covering half of his thumbs when he keeps his arms hung by his side. The loose collar around the neck provides view of his upper pectorals where they meet up in the centre of his chest, revealing his collar bones however cutting off to prevent view of his lower chest. The front of the shirt remains clear with no symbols or markings on it, where as on the outer arm he has the kanji for 'bomb' in a maroon colour. On his back he has the symbol of his clan in the same coloured writing as on the arms of the shirt. The shirt extends past his waist and finishes just covering the groin area.
Around his waist he wears a cream belt which holds his pants up as well as a single small bag attached to the left hip which holds the moulding clay required for his jutsu. The belt is often unseen however due to his shirt hanging quite loosely over the waist area. His pants slightly resembles the same colour of the belt, however are more coffee coloured and thus a slightly darker shade. They are quite tight on his legs, accentuating the muscle tone of his legs and extend to the 3/4 way down his lower leg. The pants are completely clear of any images/logos in contrast to his shirt. As the pants end 3/4 of the way down, dark black leggings extend down the rest of the way until they wrap around his ankles and under the curves on the bottom of both feet. On his feet he wears the standard shinobi sandals however in a maroon colour (the same colour as the symbols on his shirt.
Around his forehead is the shinobi forehead protector headband with the symbol of the Hidden Stone engraved upon the metal. It sits directly over his forehead and is wrapped around his head by a black headband. The headband is often concealed though, covered by his long hair and even blending in with the colour of his hair. The metallic protector is in top condition with no distinctive markings on the metal - yet. He does wear the village symbol with pride and holds the headband in high regard, considering it a very important piece of his apparel. If he was ever to lose it, he would become extremely infuriated and very large explosions would follow after.

PERSONALITY —
THE FLOATER — Although aligned to the Hidden Stone and it's people, Zaiaku is a true floater. His allegiance could change in an instant when threatened with his life or if he begins to admire someone else and their qualities over his current superiors. This is a deep down quality that expresses Zaiaku's true nature, however is never shown on the surface. He will often come across as very patriotic toward his current village and strike down, physically or verbally, anyone who offends his village or the people within it. Some could say that the characteristic of being a 'floater' resembles that of a coward, where as Zaiaku views it as being smart. After all, what good is honour to the dead? Zaiaku is the type of person that places himself first over others, even though shinobi should be selfless and strive toward the greater good of their village and it's people. This trait foreshadows the fact that Zaiaku could one day betray the ones he is supposed to save, simply to guarantee the safety of his own life first.
THE CALM — Often, Zaiaku is a very calm teenager that tries not to get worked up over many things. He will try to lead a carefree life and simply go about his own way by himself. He is fairly stable when he is around friendly people who don't try to piss him off. He can be a very easygoing and nice guy, cracking jokes here and there and not afraid to have a laugh. He is also not very motivated when it comes to performing tasks or having some sort of assignment to do, often being very laid back about it and delaying performing it until he actually has to. The main things he likes to do in order to keep him in this state is to just simply sit outside in an empty field, under the shade of a tree of course to protect him from the sun, and mould his clay into small shapes and figures. He finds it very relaxing and admires good art, especially when he's personally created it. Another thing he enjoys doing is resting. Nothing will make him happier than a day that consists of lying in bed and only having to get up for food and to go to the toilet. However, there is always a more darker side.
THE EXPLOSIVE — When Zaiaku is pissed off, he gets very pissed off. It often results in the destruction of various things including bits of earth, trees, abandoned huts, you name it. Anything that is around him at the time will be likely blown up as a result of Zaiaku's rage taking over. This is why the combination of his fury with his explosive clay is a very deadly mix. It is actually quite the contrast. One moment he would be quietly sitting there with no care in the world, and the next he would suddenly erupt like a volcano. Things that will often set him off include the fact that people refer to him as a female. When he notes the fact that a male has either complimented him on his beauty or wolf-whistled in his direction, he explodes. This is possibly as a result of being bullied at a younger age for not only having a mouth in his palm, but also looking like a girl. Another main thing that sets him off is that if someone offends one of the sculptures of clay that he makes. If they show their disprove for them, Zaiaku will take full offense and enter rage-mode on the person and the things around him. Some suggest to Zaiaku that he should attend an anger management class, but that just resulted in Zaiaku flipping off at them. As long as he is left alone and not offended, he will be fine.
