"Ah, is that so? It's good to hear that they're slowly recovering. The country is absolutely lovely." told the male with a slower voice than usual.
"It is! You should have been there during the winter around Christmas or New Years Eve" replied the female with an eager look at her face.

She had celebrated New Years Eve there quite often and it was a sight to behold. The entire village had small lights hanging all over the houses plus a large tree in the city square. It looked like something taken out of a fairytale or a postcard.
"It'll be taken care of..." replied Atlas to answer the question about the house. She just nodded before she stood up to stretch out a little bit.

"Snow pea...where have you always wanted to travel?" inquired the young man as he glanced at her. "Hm?" replied Yukiko while she blinked in slight disbelief. Had he just asked her where she had always wanted to travel?
"That's not easy to answer really. Give me a minute to think please" said the young woman with a thoughtful expression in her eyes.

She had explored major parts of Kaminari no Kuni as well as Yuki no Kuni due to her heritage. Not to mention that her shinobi career had lead her to Tetsu no Kuni plus Mizu no Kuni too. But were there any places the Chuunin wanted to visit more than anywhere else?
Her ebony brows knitted as she tried to answer that question as best as possible. Her mind started to replay her geography lessons that the female had attended at the knowledge center.

Each and every country flashed in front of her mental eye one by one. Were there any of these that made her a bit more curious or perhaps even more eager than usual? Her mind then felt on the oasises the teacher had shown from Kaze no Kuni plus the jungles in Kusa no Kuni.
"I would like to visit Kaze no Kuni since they've got hot weather plus some hefty beaches. Kusa no Kuni is not that bad either since they've got a huge variety of plants...it looks quite exotic" informed the brunette.

As my blue-eyed companion mused on her answer, I would put the finishing touches on letter number four. I wrote this one with reluctance... with doubt. I was, after all, sending it to Grandma Mai and Junpo. And how the former had betrayed me was nigh unforgivable. Horrendous, even. So much so, that many of the words contained within the fourth missive held a sense of ambiguity. I didn't know where I stood with that 'family' I'd lived with for a year and a half. In a few sentences, I feigned a slight sense of forgiveness. In others, I clearly condemned Mai's actions. I could only hope that the content of this missive wasn't construed as the senseless, confused babbling of a dementia victim because of it.

Just as I completed the letter, my attention would return to Yukiko upon hearing her speak once more. She spoke of the golden sands in Kaze no Kuni, their shimmering beaches hugging the coastlines of that faraway land. She also spoke of the exotic jungles within Kusa no Kuni, a territory which I had personally frequented a number of times. I smiled, filing the fourth letter away, as I sat up a bit straighter on my bed. Then I leaned forward, extending a single hand, and gesturing for Yukiko to take hold of it with her own. Once she took it, I'd grasp it firmly. "What would you say if I could take you to any one of those places right now?" I grinned, speaking in a hushed tone.

"In the blink of an eye." I added, knowing that surely she had an idea of what I was talking about. After all, she'd seen it with her own eyes. The fabled Hiraishin, used to evade the deadly lightning arrow she had attempted to strike me with at the penthouse. It was more than likely that she did not know specifically what technique it was, nor how it worked. And it was that mystique, that mystery, that I was almost certain captivated Yukiko. She'd always withheld a sense of awe for ninjutsu. It was one of the primary reasons she'd become a kunoichi. Something she had never really grown out of.

Considering the secret that had been revealed only recently, I was aware that her trust for me faltered. It had pierced my heart like a hot knife, when I'd notice that gleam in her eyes moments before. But if she trusted me now, showed me that I still remained in good standing with her, it would make up for all of it. "Just close your eyes, Snow. Close your eyes, and imagine it." My brow would raise in expectancy, my sincere smile brimming with cheer. Despite the aching of my muscles, the pulsating pain in my eye, I could still feel the warmth of my chakra at the heart of me. She had to only close her eyes, and trust me. Her forgiveness would give me the strength to pull it off.

"What would you say if I could take you to any one of those places right now? In the blink of an eye" told the male in a hushed voice. Her eyes widened...could he be talking about THAT ninjutsu? 'That must be how he had avoided my arrow back in the penthouse!' thought the female.
"Just close your eyes, Snow. Close your eyes and imagine it" told Atlas with a sincere smile.

"No. Wait a second" muttered Yukiko as she shook her head. "What do you think my PARENTS are gonna say if I disappear without telling them where I'm going first!? Plus that I don't have any equipment or extra clothes with me. Not to mention that you're NOT in the shape to go!" whispered the young woman.

"It's not that I don't want to travel but I want to be PREPARED. Plus that I don't want my parents to tell the Raikage tower that I disappeared without a trace when I visited you at the hospital. They're gonna put a bounty on my head and make me a nukenin!" exclaimed the Chuunin.
Her voice was low but there was no doubt that she was dead serious about this. Plus that she had a relatively wide-eyed expression that emphasized this.

I suppose it wouldn't be that easy.

Sadly, some things in life needed time to recover. And, much to my misfortune, that was time I didn't have. After listening to her reasons, I paused for a beat, captured in thought. Then I laughed, shaking my head lightly. I released her hand from my grasp. "You over think things too much, Snow." I commented, putting on a faint smile as I picked up the papers on my lap, and returned to writing letters. "You need to learn to loosen up a bit. The 'what ifs' really put a damper on our lives sometimes." Briefly, I glanced up at her with my one good eye. My gaze stern and serious. "Consider it a dying man's last advice."

As I continued writing my missives, I tried to conceal the disappointment brewing within. There was yet another regret I could take to the grave-- and that was not being able to mend what fragment of trust I had broken with Yukiko. Had she truly believed I was going to allow her to become a wanted criminal? Or that I was going to take her away without any precautionary measures in mind? There, and back again, in the blink of an eye. The golden sands of Kaze no Kuni one moment. The depressing, sanitized ambiance of this hospital room the next. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to go. But I did. More than anything, I wanted to run away from this... this deathbed of mine. But I couldn't leave Yukiko behind. Not again. So I painfully dealt with it.

Despite everything, she was worth it.

((OOC: Not trying to be a party breaker here, but Yukiko is a bit more rational. Traveling with a dying person and not having clean clothes is not exactly the most ideal travel situation The movie Yukiko is referring to is 'Pirates of the Carribean'))

"You over think things too much, Snow. You need to learn to loosen up a bit. The 'what ifs' really put a damper on our lives sometimes." stated the male as he continued writing letters.
"That's easy for you to say. You don't live with your parents" replied the female.

Atlas then glanced up at her. "Consider it a dying man's last advice." muttered the man. Yukiko winced when she was reminded of how close to death he was.
"Fine...but on two conditions. One: Your health must be more stable than what it is now so you don't drop dead while we're far away from civilization" told the Chuunin.

"Number two: I need to go home to pack as well as telling my parents. It will only take me an hour or something at the most" stated the female. She wanted to be a bit rational than the Jounin when it came to things like this.
"As for 'loosening up'...think a little about this. Who do you think will be charged for murder if you die in the deserts of Kaze no Kuni and I was the only one with you? Or what if you're unable to protect me against a horde of lions when we're in Kusa no Kuni because you're too ill?" inquired the brunette.

"Last but not least, I'm an adult woman now. I have a bit higher hygenic upkeep than what I had ten years ago. I'm sure you know if you think about your traveling days where you had not showered or shaved in a couple of days...you probably looked like that pirate in that movie that hit the cinema five years ago" mused the young woman.
It was easy for her to imagine the male looking a bit like a rogue during his traveling days during the shinobi war. The maps back in his apartment was a solid proof of this.

I raised a brow when she had referenced the pirate movie, mainly because my experiences differed substantially, but did not care to acknowledge it any further as I continued my writing. "Seems like you didn't take my advice to heart." I remarked nonchalantly, referring to the 'what ifs' she had laid on me just now. I considered her offer. I definitely still wanted to leave. But this... this had become something else. Something that made it seem this was being forced on her. Something I didn't want to be a part of. What was meant to not only be a gift, but an exercise testing the trust between us, had transformed into what I perceived she felt was a burden.

The spontaneity of life was sucked out of the equation, replaced by cold logic and doubt, when it didn't necessarily have to be. But what had transpired over the past few moments had indeed happened. I had trusted that she knew I held the common sense to know my own limitations. That I wouldn't just keel over and die the moment we warped. I had trusted that she knew that, as long as I remained breathing, I would let absolutely nothing happen to her. Nearly a decade of knowing one another closely supplemented that idea. But, apparently, I was wrong. In addition, she had assumed that we were going to be away for an overly extended period of time.

We would not have been away for a week, or a day, or even an hour. If she had confided in me, she would have known. But, unfortunately, it had not played out that way. And what was the point of explaining it? I knew where we stood. And her prerequisite about the improvement of my health was simply something I couldn't meet. I wasn't going to get better. My health was deteriorating by the hour. And if there was ever a time to go, it would be now. "Forget I mentioned it, Snow." I continued, finishing the last few sentences on my latest missive. "After all, what good is a trip abroad if you're going to be worried throughout the whole thing?"

I briefly glanced up at her, feigning a small but saddened smile, before returning to my written work. I hoped, after I was dead and gone, that she would see those wonderful places for herself one day. I hoped that she wouldn't remember me too harshly. Because I adored her, my little sister. More than she'd ever comprehend. And I wished I had the time to mend the fences we'd broken. Finally finished, I neatly stacked the letters into an organized pile, before holding them out for Yukiko to grab. "All done." I spoke plainly, nodding. "If you could take these to the federal post office on the other side of town, I would really appreciate it." Silently, I awaited her response.

"Seems like you didn't take my advice to heart." stated the male with a nonchalant voice. The female just let out a small sniff thinking 'here he goes again'. She was perhaps not that spontaneous but she had to be practical.
"Forget I mentioned it Snow. After all, what good is a trip abroad if you're going to be worried throughout the whole thing?" told Atlas.

He glanced up at her with a sad smile and Yukiko instantly felt a bit guilty. She had not meant to hurt his feelings or to act like some old stuck-up person. He then started to sort out the letters he had written into a neat pile that was ready to be sent away.
"All done. If you could take these to the federal post office on the other side of town, I would really appreciate it" said the man.

"I'll do it. But...I may take a little longer than usual" muttered the young woman with a small glint in her light blue eyes. A small smirk formed at her lips before she exited the room with the letters in her hand.
'Senpai won't have ANY idea of what hit him' thought the Chuunin as she walked out of the hospital. She WAS going with him, but she needed something to document their travels.

I couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow when she'd mentioned that she'd be back a bit later than I should expect. It wasn't what she had said, no. But the way she had said it. With a mysterious gleam in her eye, and quite the subtle smirk. Without a clue as to why she appeared so suspicious, I simply gave her a small wave before she departed from the hospital room. And, when that door closed behind her, it was just me and that incessant heart monitor once more. I sighed, then collapsed backwards on my bed, turning my tired green eye to the white-washed ceiling above. My mind had been so very preoccupied during the past couple of days... it was relaxing to just lay down, and breathe. It felt like so long since I'd done such a simple thing.

There was no doubt in my mind that I still had matters to attend to. And there was no doubt in my mind that I would not be capable of attending to them all. Yet, even when those few important things I knew I was forgetting came back to pester my state of mind, I tried to take this moment for myself. To clear my head, and get a handle on my own, albeit temporary, well-being. This moment did not belong to nightmares of Vera's demise. This moment did not belong to the wretched condition in my right eye, nor the relationships that crumbled all around my personal life. This moment belonged to me. Existing. Attempting to reach that peace, that nirvana, I had attempted to reach throughout the entirety of my life. I closed my eye, and breathed.

Tap, tap!

The acoustic sound of a sharp knock on my door abruptly snapped me out of my sedated trance. "Sir?" A man's voice called from the other side. "May I come in?"

It took me a moment to reply, but when I did, I'd slowly lift myself into an upright and seated position on the bed. "Yes, go on." I answered, grunting when a small spike of pain flared on the right side of my temple. The man, garbed in a long white doctor's coat, opened the door promptly, closing it silently behind him thereafter. He was a young man, no older than twenty-five, with short dark hair and solid green eyes. A man I could have imagined Samuru growing into. He grabbed a chair, placed it by my bed, and took a seat.

"My name is Doctor Hada." He spoke, extending a single hand in introduction. "I'm the chief surgeon overlooking your progress."

I shook his hand firmly. "Chief surgeon?" I reiterated.

"Yes." He nodded in reply, having obviously expected my reaction. "I've come to speak to you about your options, Raikage-sama. Primarily focused around the idea of surgery."

The expression on my face remained blank, until my eyes narrowed into a solemn glance downward. "It can't be done." I replied. "Believe me, I've researched it a long time ago--"

"And that's exactly why you may be wrong, sir." Doctor Hada casually interrupted. "We have reason to believe that there are a select few within the world that are capable of pulling off such a procedure. In fact, one of them lives here, in Kumogakure, sir. Her name is Doctor--"

"Hirihi Rinji. I know." I spoke, finishing the sentence for him. "She... won't be able to."

During my tenure as the Nidaime Raikage, I had once approached the idea of a surgery. The candidate? None other than the lovely Hirihi Rinji. Under the cover of one of the "Raikage's" personal Jounin agents, I personally oversaw her advancement into the medical profession that she adored, giving her some of the best teachers this world had to offer. I had fallen in love with her during that time, and she had indeed grown into an exceptional surgeon. But, in the end, the effort proved to be fruitless towards my own cause. She saved a lot of lives after what she'd been taught. But the one life she couldn't save was my own. "The infliction is symbiotic." I informed the good doctor. "Even if Hirihi, or any other exceptional surgeon, were available... they wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Not without killing me. The symbiote and I... we are one."

"I... I see..." Doctor Hada answered, clearly losing himself in his thoughts for a moment. "I understand this is a difficult time for you, Raikage-sama. But, with the death of our latest Raikage, the council is trying anything and everything to find a cure to your affliction. The country needs you, sir. And I am not at liberty to make these decisions for you... but, would you not agree that you should at least try? I am certain we can find a surgeon who has experience with these... symbiotes. You need only--"

"That's enough." I spoke harshly, my stern gaze focused on the man's suddenly downcast face. "I already told you. There's no chance of survival. Not with what I've got. So you can tell the board to find someone else! ... I only wish to go in peace." My voice trailed off during the last bit, my serious stare faltering as I looked out that window once more. Kumogakure no Sato... I'd given so much to it already. Spent so much of my life here, devoted so much of my time to its cause. I'd lost a family for it. I'd lost so many comrades. And here I was, on my deathbed, unable to gain any respite due to the fact that those old fools on the council looked so desperately for someone who could clean up their mess. It was insulting, and filled me with raw frustration. I'd given them my entire life. And still, they asked for more. The nerve of it all. Coupled with my other dilemnas, I didn't want to hear any of it.

The doctor nodded, speechless at first, until he rose up from his seat. "I understand, Raikage-sama." For a moment, he paused. But then he started to take his leave. He'd only gone a few steps before he stopped at the forefront of the door, his hand already on the knob's handle. "May I... speak to you candidly, sir?" He suddenly asked, turning over his shoulder to cast his gaze upon me.

I nodded in reply, a curiosity rekindled. "Go on."

He took a beat to gather his thoughts. And for a second there, I thought he'd frozen in place. But then he spoke, his tone of voice losing its professional mien, as it was replaced with a more casual tune. "I think it's wrong for the council to demand so much of you just to fit their own agenda. They paid me to lie to you, you know. To tell you that we had a definite solution to your problem, and risk having you killed during surgery. But I didn't. And you know why? ... Because I knew that it takes a good man to overcome the wickedness of others, and put aside their problems for the greater good of the people." He paused, placing his hands in the pockets of his doctor's coat. "I realize you're staring down death... and I can't imagine how foreboding that can be. But don't let that, or the council, change who you are, sir. Don't let them influence your decision. Instead, try to keep your loved ones in mind."

A rift of silence came between us, my mind captured in thought. The council had already taken so much. But had I taken into account what I'd received from living here? A sense of purpose, a fulfillment that protecting the good people of Kaminari no Kuni bestowed upon me. Could I allow for these very same people to suffer in the months to come? Without a leader? Without a cause? Had I really been so selfish to allow that to happen, while I simply laid back and died? There was a saying out there: you either get busy living, or get busy dying. And, thanks to the doctor, it was clear what option I wanted to take. "... Okay. I'll do it."

Replying with a deft nod, Doctor Hada exited the hospital room. Off to find a miracle-worker.

[Kaifuu]

Through size alone, this building was considered one of the

largest. Ever since the unknown serial killer appeared, our Raikage have been
dropping like flies. I was disgusted, to say the least. I practically betrayed
my former home for Kumogakure, and this is what I was presented with. Shaking
my head, I entered the medical center, analyzing its interior the moment I
breached its two-door opening. As to be expected, it was beautiful and accommodated
to the civilians. It was another checkmark in my book, but not something
memorable. Walking down its medium-sized corridor, I gave quick glances to each
side, observing sick patients staring out open windows into cloudy skies. It
had a melancholic feel to it, but it was something I could get used to. From
the looks of their expressions, they seemed pleased. Whoever took care of them must
have left roughly 30 minutes ago.

Approaching the front desk sitting at the center of an empty
circular room, I smiled to introduce myself. “Kaifuu,” my first name to
establish my loyalty. “Yotsuki,” my last name to boast. Everybody knew my clan
literally had its fingers tied around Kumogakure. We were the richest, and held
the most money. You could say our wealth proved our worth. Aside from the
bollocks, I was here to see one of my brethren. “I’ll be heading to Room 101,”
which was near the entrance, about three doors down on the left. Before she
could even speak, I headed off toward where I was needed. Knocking once at the
right wall of Room 101, I briefly entered, noticing the physician taking care
of him. Lowering my head to decipher
her nametag, I spoke to her. “You must be Mito Ihara. Nice to meet you,” I
bowed with much respect for the lady. For her to take her time and help my
brother, I admired her.

“Shhh…”

'He he. I'm sure senpai did not have a clue about this' thought the female as she entered the hospital once more. She had told her parents that she was going on a mission out of the village that would take about a week or so.
They were fine with her decision, so Yukiko had packed her backpacker for clothes plus supplies that could last up to a week. A part of her could not WAIT to visit the countries she had always wanted to see.

She was happy that she had the ability to jump from roof to roof because there was still some time left of the visiting hours. The young woman jogged towards the male's room with excitement rushing through her veins. Her hand knocked on the door while she tried to catch her breath.
"Senpai? Can I come in?" inquired the Chuunin with a semi-soft voice while placing her hand on the door handle.

The female entered ten seconds later despite the lack of an answer. A huge grin formed at her face as she closed the door behind her. "All right senpai...I'm ready to go now" whispered the brunette before looking at him.
"I just had to go back home to pack my bag. Have you received a report or something from a doctor?" asked the young woman with a somewhat more concerned look in her eyes.

"I mean...last thing I wanna do is to drag you out of here if you can collapse any second. I know you won't get better but it's better to go if your condition is stable. Plus that I don't want to be accused of murder either" chuckled the female.
She had brought her communication device with her as well in case they had to call for backup. But she was all up for what the male in the bed wanted to visit.

A part of her mind could already imagine the beaches in Kaze no Kuni where the weather was a lot warmer than what it was here. The waves crushing against the shore as well as the blue sea all felt so close to her. Not to mention the bustling jungles with all kinds of exotic plants in Kusa no Kuni.
Animals she had only seen in picture books or in her earth science book that she could now see in a natural environment. What would happen next from here?

It wouldn't be too long before there was another knock at the door.

I'd only managed to log in a few minutes of rest after the doctor had left, but I was glad to hear Yukiko on the other side of that door. Surely, she had already mailed my letters during the time she had been gone. But, to be honest, I wasn't expecting her to be back-- at least, not for today. Visiting hours at the hospital were rather cramped, to say the least. "Come on in." I answered, beckoning her to enter with a single wave, as I struggled to sit into an upright position once more. I could still feel the pain slowly easing its way throughout my body, but the medicinal drug I was hooked up to seemed to keep it at bay for the time being.

The first thing I noticed upon seeing her enter was the stuffed backpack that she carried behind her. I gave her a warm, but confused smile as she spoke. "I thought we'd put that behind us?" I remarked, with a quirked eyebrow. "... I'd rather have you visit these places alone, without worry, than go there with anxiety in your heart, Snow." I continued, replying softly. Sincerity brimmed from my one visible eye. I hoped she didn't take that the wrong way, but... the moment had passed. I wasn't up for it now, morally or physically. After having agreed to risk dying on the surgeon's table, I was simply too mentally exhausted to do anything.

Though I hadn't looked at myself in the mirror just yet, I imagined that I looked haggard and ill. I certainly felt that way. And, while I had brimmed with the enthusiasm to take her to these places before, I'd lost it after I realized just how much I'd damaged her trust in me. And just how hopeless my situation appeared to be. "I'm sorry that I couldn't take you sooner... before all this. I should have been there for you." Sporting a regretful expression on my face, I'd lay back down on my bed, my eye resuming its staring contest with the white ceiling above us.  There was nothing more for me to say on the subject, nothing I hadn't said before.

"I was approached by a surgeon, while you were gone." I added then, realizing she had indeed asked me whether I'd been visited. "They're looking for someone who might be able to help me. But, chances are, I'll--" I stopped there, my solemn gaze turning into one of remembrance. A couple of days ago, when I'd barely returned to Kumogakure no Sato, I recalled seeing Blanche in the village. I didn't, and still don't, know why she was here. I presumed she was some sort of Jounin envoy, here to pay her respects to Eiichiro on behalf of the mysterious Kusakage. But... could she possibly be the answer I was looking for? She had been a medical officer during the Pre-War era. And she had experience with symbiotes, having confronted them with me in Mizu no Miyako a long time ago. But was she any good for this particular surgery?

The question burned within my mind.

[Yuki-chan]

"I thought we'd put that behind us? ... I'd rather have you visit these places alone, without worry, than go there with anxiety in your heart, Snow." replied the man. Her face then turned into a frown.
'Was not he the one that suggested this in the first place?' thought the female as she raised an ebony eyebrow in wonder. "was approached by a surgeon, while you were gone. They're looking for someone who might be able to help me. But, chances are, I'll--" paused Atlas.

Crystal blue eyes widened in fear. NO...that couldn't be...! "What is it senpai!?" inquired Yukiko with a somewhat higher pitch in her voice than usual.
"Do I need to call a nurse or something!?" said the young woman with a slightly bewildered look in her eyes. The LAST thing she needed was a brain tumor that had exploded inside the man's mind.

She then remembered that the surgeon had told him that they were looking for someone. Perhaps the Chuunin could help him in his search if it was someone in this village or in Kaminari no Kuni. "You told me the surgeon were looking for someone; is there any chance that I may help?" suggested the female.
She bit her lower lip while trying to calm down her haywire nerves. These sort of situations were NOT one that she enjoyed to be in.

"What?" I retorted, after she'd asked whether she needed to call a nurse in to help. I appreciated the worry, but there was no cause for alarm yet, no emergency that any of the hospital staff needed to immediately attend to in this room. "No... I don't need a nurse." I continued, broken out of my momentary trance. "I was just thinking... maybe..." I drifted off into deep thought once more. When Yukiko had brought up the topic that was bouncing around in my head, I felt complied to answer. "I knew this girl, a long time ago. She was a medical prodigy from Kusagakure no Sato. Her name was Blanche." I stopped there, my gaze still fixed on the ceiling.

It was implied that she was the one I was considering to perform my surgery. But, the fact of the matter was, I did not know whether she'd be capable of performing my particular surgery. It was something hundreds of other professional doctors considered impossible to do, without killing me first. And I couldn't imagine putting her in such a position. Not after the pain we'd endured during the Great Catastrophe. Not after all these years. Having spotted her here in Kumogakure no Sato recently, however, she seemed to be the best chance for my survival nearby. I'd even go as far to wager that she was the best chance I had in the entire continent. Perhaps even the entire world.

Despite the manner in which we departed, I knew that I could trust her. I knew that, should she shoulder that responsibility, there was no one I would rather entrust my life to on the surgery table than her. No one alive, anyways. After all, she'd saved my life before. And though she was part of the reason I'd nearly lost it, I knew she could handle her own. That still left me with the choice, however: Should I choose to decline approaching her for such a matter, and instead die in peace? Or should I risk the chance of dying painfully whilst in the middle of surgery? These two options clashed together, a duel between hope and fear. Between struggle and acceptance.

What bothered me most, however, was the fact that this entire situation had me thinking about Vera. God, how I wish she was still here, with me and Sam, living peacefully in the mountains of Kaminari no Kuni. Had she not been so... selfish, so rash! So... forgiving. She'd still be here. But I couldn't change the past. I couldn't change the decision she had made. Her life... for my own. A decision that had haunted me  throughout my entire life after the Great Catastrophe. A decision that woke me up in the middle of the night, drenched in cold sweat. A decision that, though once masked by the bouts of amnesia I'd been stricken with, clutched at my heart painfully at every waking hour. What she had done, what I had lost, had ultimately made my life nigh unbearable.

"What!? No... I don't need a nurse. I was just thinking... maybe...I knew this girl, a long time ago. She was a medical prodigy from Kusagakure no Sato. Her name was Blanche." told the male. The female bit her lower lip in thought as she tried to find out if someone she knew matched that name as well as a description.

'All right. I need to think if I have met any medical shinobis over the last years' thought Yukiko as her mind started to kick into gear. Her memory started to reel while searching for a female medical shinobi.
There were only two people that matched that criteria. The first one was that pink-haired shinobi she had met while she shopped for food all those years ago.

That memory stood out in particular because she had felt from a shelf in the supermarket. Her next memory involved a tall blonde the young woman had met when she was looking for a Christmas tree. A nasty fall had sprained her ankle and the woman had healed it up completely.
But she had frightened her a bit...plus that she had a weird headband symbol she had never seen. Could that perhaps be a symbol for Kusagakure shinobis?

"Senpai, I remmebered something. Do you remember after the orphanage mission? I went to the forest to find a tree just a couple days later" informed the young woman.
"I felt down from a tree and sprained my ankle. I remember that I ran into a blond woman that was quite tall that healed me up" continued the Chuunin.

"However, she was not from Kumogakure no Sato. She had a weird line on her forehead protector...I'm not completely sure of how it looked like I'm afraid. But she was a bit scary though" admitted the female.
She hoped that the information she had given could help out in a way. Maybe that medic was from the same village as Atlas had mentioned?
