But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
[physicality; anatomy] a slender body frame encompasses the soul of shosuke. his ectomorph body type has always made it hard for him to gain weight. thus, he never really excelled in any strength exercises as a younger lad. however due to his shinobi training throughout the years, his muscles are quite tone and his body is above common physical shape. these muscles are more defined due his skinny nature. his hair is kept at a mid to long length with his fringe often hanging down upon his face. the cut is what he feels as 'just right', not being too long that it hinders his vision and not being too short that he looks like a military soldier. his deep green eyes contrast his personality to an extent. on first glance they reflect the eyes of someone peaceful with their harmonising green colour. yet within lies the explosiveness of a fiery red, something which accompanies each of his jutsu. atop his head sits his flowing blonde hair, shining in the sun like a bulb of light.
[physicality; apparel 01] shosuke has two different clothing styles depending on the situation. apparel 01 represents the type of clothing he wears whilst on duty as a shinobi, whether that be running errands on behalf of the village or in combat. covering his torso is a light cotton singlet with a high collar. the singlet itself is coloured grey and the collar extends up to the beginning of his jawbone under both ears. the under side of the singlet is a light cream colour. the colour of this can be seen on the insides of the collar. shosuke has no clothing on his arms. covering his legs are long pants that extend 3/4 down his legs to his shins. on the left leg sits a kunai holster with cloth wrapped around to hold it in place. on his feet are standard black shinobi sandals. he wears his forehead protector around his forehead, displaying the symbol of his village quite visibly depending on where his fringe sits. his weapon is often slung on his back with the handle sitting above his left shoulder.
[physicality; apparel 02] the second style of clothing, that makes up apparel 02, is for when shosuke is out of combat and off duty as a shinobi. it is more lounge style clothing, consisting of very light cloth material to emphasise a more peaceful and relaxed state. it begins with a light black short-sleeved t-shirt covering his torso. the sleeves extend halfway down his bicep on both arms and fits snug around his waist. the collar hangs rather low, revealing both collar bones to any onlookers. covering his legs are light coffee coloured chino shorts which sit just above his knee. the material is very light and stretchy, making it very comfortable and mobile. covering his feet he wears the same standard black shinobi sandals that wrap around both of his ankles. his headband in this state is slung diagonally across his head in this fashion adding to the more 'laid-back' style. a single black belt wrapped around his waist holds the contents of his secondary weapons in the forms of small bags and pouches, and his primary weapon is still in the same position over his left shoulder.

[mentality; impulsive] shosuke is a very impatient lad. he likes to make decisions quickly and rather rashly, ensuring that concerns never linger above his head. this can mean that he often never sits back to analyse the situation, always wanting to rush into the midst of things in order to complete the task at hand. this can mean that he is a very unpredictable person, often contradicting himself and his beliefs with the way he acts. this impulsive behaviour can be reflected through sudden bursts of violence, inflicting both verbal and physical abuse to the ones around him. through this, shosuke can often find it difficult to become close to people. he doesn't like to waste time bonding and forming relationships with others. "too much talking and not enough doing." he will often be the first person to volunteer himself on occasions. absolutely despising the idea of getting bored, shosuke loves to rush headlong into any scenario. it increases the whole enjoyment out of tasks when one does not know what outcome they face. this mindset has been developed across the years thanks to his personal belief that he is immortal due to his kekkei genkai. the road ahead will be interesting.
[mentality; explosive] he is often known to be an adolescent who can get quite mad rather quickly. shosuke's anger often gets the best of him, commonly seen exploding out in both physical and verbal outrage whenever pissed off to the slightest degree. this mindset can often work in both positive and negative ways, more so on the negative side. conflict of course is the most common outcome of this explosive mentality. however shosuke is never afraid to engage himself in such things. he is never afraid to engage in such course of action however, always striving to stir tension between himself and another person. to calm him down it doesn't often take much. he does love a good back rub when stressed, or will simply breathe in and out repeatedly. once the issue that has angered him in the first place has become resolved, his ferocious personality will fade back into a calm, peaceful state. it's often the little things that get to him the most. being a perfectionist, he likes to see things carried out in a professional way. when something is out of order, he has an obsessive compulsion to set it right. he will never feel at ease when something is done half-assed. the angry demon comes out to play then.
[mentality; ambitious] shosuke is always looking forward in his life, looking at the bigger picture above as to where he can see himself in the years ahead. he is always striving for that idea of greater power. acquiring something that sets him out against the rest, something that makes him unique and renown across the shinobi world as a fierce soldier. he likes to hang around with people that will benefit himself in the future. the mentality of leaving the weak behind exists within his mind. this mindset is often frowned upon by others in society, which means that shosuke can make enemies quite easily. the idea of 'power' can often lead him down dangerous paths of darkness. he is tempted very easily, and very easily persuaded when offered a reward. this greed and selfishness highlights the idea that deep down, shosuke is only aligned to himself and his own ambitions. it can then be assumed that he would abandon his own village at any time to pursue something far greater in his own mind. he is thus unsafe to have on a shinobi team as the idea of betraying his comrades if they struggle behind is something that he would actually consider if it meant benefitting his own good. it's rather heinous.
Kibaku-Nendo Standard Molding Clay (x5) Rank: B Type: Secondary. Cost: 1,000 Ryo per Pack of 5 blobs A standard molding clay kit which contains small blobs of whitish clay, no larger than balled fist, which serve as the base for the clan member's explosive techniques. A clan exclusive clay molding set, this is sold strictly by clan merchants through a secure identification system which yields fakes from the real deal - not that a non-clan member could do much with the clay anyways!
Note: This is the standard clay used by all Kibaku-Nendo clan members. Each pack contains a total of five "blobs," which are used for Kibaku-Nendo clan techniques. The maximum amount of clay that any user can have on their person at any given time is twenty.
Note: As I have 2 clay pouches I am able to hold up to 8 packs of explosive moulding clay.
Basic Radio Rank: C Type: Accessory / Self Special: Has a range up to 100 meters. Description: The short range radio is capable of keeping ninja in contact across several miles. The radio can accept multiple frequencies and is activated to talk by pushing a button on the neck attachment, making it simple to use even in the most dire of situations. With a durable carapace, it is designed to withstand water damage and even the pressure of extreme altitudes. Cost: 5,000 Ryo.
Kibaku-Nendo Advanced Molding Clay Pouch (x2) Rank: B. Type: Accessory. Cost: 5,000 ryo per pouch. Larger than your average utility pouch, these carry-ons are used to store a Kibaku-Nendo clan member's unique clay. Due to their size, the amount of clay capable of being stored within this is substantial to the typical amount.
Note: A satchel made specifically for the Kibaku-Nendo's molding clay, the materials used in crafting this allows the clay within to retain its moisture and thusly its usefulness. These satchels are rather large, as well, increasing the amount of clay a user may carry by twenty. A player may only purchase two of these pouches. This takes up one accessory slot each.
Tier One - Explosive Ordnances: Through learning to refine and compact their explosive chakra even further, the user now possesses the ability to generate even more powerful explosions for the same amount of chakra. Because of this, the range of all Kubaku-Nendo explosions have been increased by a total of two meters.
Tier Two - 'Bomb' Voyage: Arguably the most long-ranged fighters in all the world, members of the Kibaku-Nendo pride themselves on how far their creations can travel from their person. However, the issue of eyesight becomes a problem in many situations. Masters of this level have learned to circumvent this fault, but giving all of their creations a "homing" feature. So long as they have seen their target once, these creations will track their target down and automatically explode (presuming they are out of the user's eyesight, and thusly their knowledge of when to detonate) upon breaching a one meter threshold with their target.
Kibaku-Nendo, C1 (Exploding Clay, C1) (50) Rank C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Supplementary Handseals: – Chakra Consumption: 2x Mid This is considered the lowest level of Bakuton created constructs. Simple but deadly, this effective combat technique allows the clan member to use their clay to fashion creatures and animals capable of bearing their unique Bakuton chakra. After withdrawing a bit of clay from their pouch, the clan member will use either hand-mouth in the palms of their hands in order to consume the it, in the process infusing it with Blast chakra. The result are these small animated clay-dolls that often resemble animals and insects of nature. Best of all? Depending upon which variation is created, they will retain the abilities of the creatures they where modeled after.
Note: This creations take a full preparation post of “crafting,” after the hand mouth has consumed the clay. This means that the creations cannot be used in the same post that the hands eat the clay.
This technique allows the user to create up to five small creatures, such as a cat or bird, per blob of clay. Likewise, they can create five medium sized creatures (wolves, lions, larger birds for traveling, etc) per two blobs of clay.
It should be noted that these explosions, at a maximum, can be three meters in size.
Kibaku-Nendo Bunshin (Exploding Clay Clone) (100) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Supplementary Handseals – Chakra Consumption: High per clone, Mid to detonate As its name implies, the Exploding Clay Clone is just that - a clone comprised of the clan member's famed clay, which, when infused within their hand-mouths with the power of Blast chakra, can be detonated. Additionally, should one's opponent become intertwined with the clone, they will be held in place and unable to maneuver due to the thick density of the clay. Because of this, this clone can take attacks and capture the enemy by taking them into its own body. The clone shows its natural shape the instant a body goes through. While the clay changes in hardness, the enemy is skilfully immobilized.
Note: Only three clones can be made at any given time, and each clone requires 5 standard clay blobs and a full preparation turn. These clones must remain within thirty meters of their creator, or they will become immobile duds incapable of being detonated. These clones may only perform the Kibaku-Nendo, C1 technique via spending the five clay blobs used to create them. Upon using all of their spare clay, they will crumble as dried clay.
Kibaku-Nendo, C2 Doragon (Exploding Clay, C2 Dragon) (150) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Offensive Handseals: – Chakra Consumption: High One of the Kibaku-Nendo's specialties, this grand technique requires the use of both of hand-mouths in order to create a large dragon capable of flight, to the point the user can safely ride on its back. During this ride, the user can control the dragon, directing it where to go and even to attack - the dragon can spit out smaller clay figures that attack the opponent like guided missiles, as well as other offensive tactics. These independent missile-like creatures take the form of a greatly reduced version of the larger dragon that created them, yet despite the decrease in size they are still relatively larger than a normal person. Each is capable of tracking their intended target, but as they emerge, they consume a substantial amount of clay from the original dragon, initially extracting it from the creature's tail. This ultimately limits the number that each C2 "Dragon Missile" is capable of creating, before clay must be sacrificed from more vital areas, such as the body or wings. The dragon can also produce clay mines.
Note: This technique requires ten clay blobs, and three posts to prepare at which time no other jutsu may be performed. The dragon is capable of emitting 10 missiles and 25 mines before it will then only be able to serve as a means for transportation. These mines and missiles have a three meter explosion radius.
Kibaku-Nendo, C3 (Exploding Clay, C3) (300) Rank: S Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Offensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: 50% of the user’s current chakra level This technique is said to have the highest concentration of Bakuton chakra, and is arguably the most powerful technique in the Kibaku-Nendo arsenal in terms of raw power and destruction. It is used primarily for decimating larges areas instantly (it was said to be capable of destroying a very large portion of Sunagakure in the series). Though it takes somewhat longer than the typical bombs to make, it undoubtedly carries far more power.
Note: The user must have at least 2x High worth of chakra remaining in order to activate this technique. This explosion covers roughly half a kilometer. This ability costs five clay blobs, and requires three preparation posts.
Kibaku-Nendo, C4: Karura (Exploding Clay, C4: Garuda) (300) Rank: S Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Offensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Massive One of the most dangerous Kibaku-Nendo techniques, the clan member creates a giant doll that is shaped like themselves from their clay. When it ruptures, a cloud of microscopic bombs are released. Impossible to be seen by a normal person, the bombs will enter the bloodstream of anyone who inhales them, as they are smaller and finer than dust itself. Once there, the countless micro-bombs explode at user's command, causing the victims' bodies to disintegrate at the cellular level, literally turning them into dust. In creating this jutsu, the user eats the clay with their own mouth as opposed to the ones on their hands. It is important to note that the cloud of microscopic bombs contains chakra, so if the target possesses some means to see or sense chakra, then they stand a better chance of moving to avoid the attack.
Note: For the sake of fairness, the radius of this “cloud of microscopic bombs” is only one hundred meters. They will remain active for a total of two posts before becoming “duds.” It should be noted that the user is not immune to this technique, and needs to be out of range.
The growth of the chibi-clone is not instant; however, it is rather fast. After being activated, the clone will take one full post growing to its full extent before detonating. Users will have exactly one post to get out of the blast radius, as once it has exploded escaping is highly unlikely.
This technique requires fifteen clay blobs, and five posts to prepare.
Bakuton no Jutsu (Blast Release Technique) (600) Rank: SS Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 15 to activate Chakra Consumption: - Bakuton no Jutsu is a technique where the user learns to turn objects the individual comes in contact with explosive. It involves cleverly incorporating the effects of fire and wind elements into single abilities to create rapid combustion.
The Bakuton user casts the handseals to begin to mix and meld their chakra natures to create this particularly unique form of chakra. Once Bakuton is activated, contact alone will activate the explosive volatility in items much like chakra channeled into a weapon. These explosions can be directed or delayed upon the moment of contact.
However, once the user activates their Bakuton release, they are incapable of using any other form of chakra nature or form manipulation (this includes channeled chakra of different types, any taijutsu that utilizes chakra, exploding seals, academy jutsu, etc.) until 2 handseals are performed again to release the kekkei genkai.
Note: This release requires the mastery (50%) of both Fire and Wind elements. Furthermore, blast release can only be channeled through the hands, one at a time.
Bakuton: Jiraiken (Blast Release: Landmine Palm) (300) Rank: S Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: High per explosion Bakuton: Jiraiken is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Blast Element. After establishing direct contact with their opponent through a simple punch, the user utilizes the Blast Release to subsequently generate an enormous explosion from the initial point of physical contact. This explosion is powerful enough to completely obliterate an opponent far larger than the user. Due to the directionality of the blast (a frontal cone), the user minimizes any potential repercussions, such as being struck by resultant debris and even recoil appears to be completely negated.
Note: The blast radius of this technique is roughly five meters.
Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) (25) Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Low Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction.
Note: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.
Meisai Gakure no Jutsu (Camouflage Concealment Technique) (150) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 7 Chakra Consumption: High to cast, Mid to sustain Meisai Gakure no Jutsu is an advanced Ninjutsu technique created for stealth purposes. After forming the needed handseals, the shinobi will summon a large amount of visually altering chakra, strong enough to coat their bodies and take effect within moments of being summoned. With this, the user can grant themselves near invisibility, which can be sustained even when motion or minimal contact occurs. Only chakra sensing methods have been shown to pierce the veil of chakra and see the hidden ninja.
Kekkai: Tengai Houjin (Barrier: Dome Method Formation) (150) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 7 Chakra Consumption: High to cast, Low to sustain Kekkai • Tengai Houjin is a Ninjutsu technique named a barrier jutsu due to the field of chakra that it disperses around. After having their hands come together, the user can extend a sensory barrier to detect the movements of a hidden foe. Should the field touch their opponent the user will know their position immediately.
Note: This barrier’s maximum range is 50 meters in all directions.
Tier One - Standing on Solid Ground: There is no greater foundation than the solid ground of the earth. Whether it be for a home or a temple, the earth beneath the sturcture is always the most important aspect. Doton Masters have taken the principle to an entirely, and learned to use the support of the earth in their favor. While on any natural terrain (including debris such as boulders and rocks), the user is immune to knockbacks\knowndowns.
This does not mean they cannot be tripped or kicked off their feet. It simply means that a technique that would knock your typical shinobi back, however far, will not work on Doton masters of this level. The damage is in no way dampened.
Chuusijin no Jutsu (Stomping Monkey’s Quake Technique) (25) Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 2 Chakra Consumption: Mid, Mid (upkeep) Chuusijin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user coats their legs and feet in chakra and begins stomping wildly. As they stomp, the earth around them begins to quake, disrupting balance of anyone nearby. This technique is ideal when faced with waves of opponents, or for taking down weakened edifices.
Note: The earthquake extends 5 meters in every direction of the user and will continue so long as they continue to hold chakra in their legs. Any person within range of the earthquake will suffer serious balance and orientation disruption.
Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique) (25) Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 1 Chakra Consumption: Low, Low (upkeep) Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a single handseal, the user conceals themself beneath the ground. Here they can lie in wait, capable of feeling the vibrations of those who walk above them. When the user chooses, they can emerge suddenly from the ground, grabbing the opponent and pulling them down into the pit where they once were buried. The opponent is buried up to their neck, robbing them of the ability to move.
Note: Concealment is near-instantaneous. User cannot move while underground, except to perform the second part of this technique. To remain underground without suffocating, the user will need to continually expend chakra.
Dochuu Eigyo (Underground Fish Projection) (50) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 3 Chakra Consumption: Mid, Mid (upkeep) Dochuu Eigyo is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user conceals themself beneath the earth, much like in Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu. However, now they are capable of moving through the earth like a fish moves through water, allowing them to stage surprise attacks or escape from a potentially deadly onslaught.
Note: To learn this technique the user must know Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu. Concealment is near-instantaneous. The user cannot perform seals beneath the ground and thus cannot use jutsu, but can wield weapons. To remain underground without suffocating, the user will need to continually expend chakra.
Ganban Kyuu (Rock Plate Coffin) (50) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 9 Chakra Consumption: Mid x2 Ganban Kyuu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user slams their hands against the ground. Two plates of rock will rise from around the opponent, moving to entomb them; upon the user's command, the rock will push together, crushing whatever is trapped inside.
Note: Requires a natural earth source.
Iwa Bunshin no Jutsu (Rock Clone Technique) (50) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 3 Chakra Consumption: Mid (per clone) Iwa Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user creates a perfect clone of themself made of stone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Iwa Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it cannot travel very far from the original body. If the Iwa Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural rock state.
Note: This clone has High x2 cap of chakra. These clones are limited to Earth-based jutsu and elementary chakra channeling. This includes simple abilities like water walking and tree climbing but not more advances channeling techniques such as Hien.
Doro Gaeshi (Mud Overturn) (50) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Defensive Handseals: 3 Chakra Consumption: Mid Doro Gaeshi is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user strikes the ground with their hands, sending a pulse of chakra into it. A wall of earth will rise in front of them to serve as a defense, although it is not perfect.
Note: Doro Gaeshi can defend against techniques C rank and below; any attack above that will destroy it, breaking through. The wall is large enough to conceal the user.
Domu (Earth Spear) (100) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 1 Chakra Consumption: High, Mid x2 (upkeep) Domu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a single handseal, the user flows chakra through all parts of their body. Their skin becomes noticeably darker as earth is infused with it, granting them a higher defensive power. Furthermore, the destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great all-purpose technique. Not many techniques can breech the areas hardened by Domu, excluding its undeniable weak point: Lightning Element ninjutsu.
Note: Domu cannot be penetrated by techniques that are of equal or lower rank, but will be penetrated by techniques that are of higher ranks. All physical attacks (punches, kicks) will have an increased damage potential because of the hardness of the user's skin.
Doryuu Taiga (Earth Flow Rivers) (100) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 4 Chakra Consumption: High Doryuu Taiga is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After forming the needed handseals, the user transforms the ground underneath their opponent into a river of mud. This river materializes suddenly and flows quickly, completely in the opposite direction that the opponent was originally moving. This technique is excellent for slowing people down and facilitating escapes, as the mud itself is highly constricting.
Note: The river flows in a straight line in whichever direction the user chooses; the direction cannot be altered afterward. The river can be no longer than 5 meters and no wider than 3 meters. The mud created by this technique can be used to facilitate other techniques that require mud.
Doton Kekkai - Dorou Doumu (Earth Barrier - Earth Dome Prison) (100) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 8 Chakra Consumption: High, High (upkeep) Doton Kekkai - Dorou Doumu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user strikes the ground with their hands. The earth overturns, rising up and around the opponent, trapping them in a dome made of earth with no apparent way out. By placing their hands against the dome, the user is able to suck out the chakra from the people trapped inside and bring it into their own body. At the same time, the user can use their own chakra to spread throughout the dome, repairing any damage their opponents manage to inflict on the inside. However, the chakra flow is not evenly spread out and becomes more weak the further away from the user it moves, allowing the dome to be broken on the far side if hit by a hard enough force.
Note: The dome is 6 meters in diameter. The user drains Mid x2 chakra from each opponent inside the dome per turn, and absorbs a Mid amount of chakra per opponent per turn. By sacrificing a High amount of chakra per turn, the user reinforces the side of the dome closest to them, making it impossible to break from the inside with any technique because of the quick rate of repairs. The side farthest away from the user can be broken through by an attack of S rank. If the user decides not to pay the upkeep at all, then the dome can be broken on any side by an attack of A rank or above. The user must keep their hand on the dome at all times for all these effects.
Doryuu Jouheki (Earth Style Rampart) (100) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Defensive Handseals: 7 Chakra Consumption: High x2 Doryuu Jouheki is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing the necessary handseals, a large earthen rampart will erupt from the ground beneath their feet, pushing them up into the sky. Depending on what the user imagines, the shape of the rampart can be anything from level ground to a steep, needle-like mountain. This technique is useful for increasing the amount of earth one has to work with, aiding or foiling escapes, and drastically altering the terrain.
Note: The shape of the rampart is up the user's imagination, but it can never exceed 10 meters in any dimension. Doesn't harm the opponent in any way, just changes the landscape.
Gansetsukon (Rock Spear) (100) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 4 Chakra Consumption: High Gansetsukon is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user can break up nearby stone and shape it into a maximum of 5 rock spears. These spears can then be launched at the opponent.
Note: Requires a natural rock source. Spears can be no more than a meter long, but travel in a quick, linear path through the air. Flight path cannot be altered after they are launched.
Arijigoku no Jutsu (Antlion Technique) (150) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 8, 1 (activation) Chakra Consumption: High Arijigoku no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a string of handseals, the user will disperse their chakra through the ground, creating a large conical pit. When the user wants to activate the technique, a single handseal must be done; then, the pit will begin sucking everything around it toward its center, hoping to catch careless opponents. Should one be sucked underground, depending on how far the user makes them sink, they will be trapped and/or suffocated.
Ganchuusou (Rock Pillar Spears) (150) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 8 Chakra Consumption: High Ganchuusou is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user slams their hands against the ground and releases their chakra. Spears of rock rise up suddenly from beneath the opponent, impaling them.
Note: Only one opponent can be targeted at a time.
Yomi Numa (Swamp of the Underworld) (150) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Offensive Handseals: 12 Chakra Consumption: Massive Yomi Numa is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Earth Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user manifests a filthy, bubbling swamp beneath their opponent. The swamp's mud is infused to make it adhesive, making it highly difficult to recover enough strength to escape it. It pulls those trapped inside it down like quicksand, until they've been covered and suffocate to death. As soon as the trapped opponent has been absorbed, however, the swamp immediately disappears - as if it was never there to begin with.
Note: The swamp is 50 meters in length and 50 meters in width, making it ideal to sink entire armies and even large creatures, like Summons. It takes a full turn to sink into the muck.
