- The members of this family that can use ninjutsu and genjutsu do so without forming hand seals. However, their techniques are not instantaneous and take the same amount of preparation time as it would for a shinobi to use them.
Origin & History: The wolves Amaterasu and Susanoo were both wild wolves of the same pack in The Land of Water near Kirigakure where they lived on opposite sides of the pack, Mirana was the second in line to be the female Alpha and Zurano was the Omega of the group because of his quiet disposition. The pack served as natural defense for Kirigakure depending on where the pack was, however a long time ago the Two-tailed Cat attacked the pack on its way to the village full of hateful people. At the end of the assault the pack had done by far enough damage to make the Cat deter from it's destructive path but the casualties were high. Mirana was gravely injured having her whole left flank burnt to a crisp, she limped through the graveyard searching for any who were alive where she found Zurano with three great gashes through hes flank and ribs but he still breathed. The two stayed together through the rainy night but as their strength slowly left them they gave the last of it to howl to the heavens during the dawn together.
The gods were moved by the cry of the creatures and gave part of their eternal selves to the two wolves resulting in their given names as a bright sun shone through a heavy storm as their bodies were healed of their mortal injuries and their sizes were increased exponentially from the power of the gods. After the two wolves were healed the gods took them from The Land of Water to an island in a separate time-space named Izanami for the wolves to live and thrive on together eventually mating together to restart their pack. The legend of these wolves live on through out the Land of Water while many think of it as mere myth a select few know the warmth of the pack.
Wolf's Totem
One piece of this family's evident existance is their totem which exists on a solemn island deep within the Land of Water. a bronze statue modeled in the form of the family's patriarch, Zurano. Many myths surround the island on which it resides, one of the most popular is that it used to be the legendary island of Izanami in the very myth of the wolves. Though stories are just stories the totem can serve as a pathway to the isle of izanami in a pocket dimension upon the same island.

Description: Fenrir is the agent sent by the gods to preside over the realm of Izanami and the Order of The Howling Fang to keep order and peace through out the island paradise. The legendary Fenrir is said to be able to see the future in his right eye and the past in his left while his body can take in the essence and energy of everything around him making him omnipresent. Though seeming all powerful Fenrir is a very docile wolf he rarely interferes with any affairs be it on the island or in the shinobi world, in accordance with this he will only train and accompany a summoner that peeks his interest. His fur is a marbled black and white swirling over his body leaving tribal markings and various swirls along his flanks, his right eyes a dark crimson to see the destruction of the future and his left eye is cerulean to see the serenity of the past.
Equipment: Fenrir has 2 S-rank trench knives set on his shoulders for use with his mouth or paws when in battle.

Special: Extends the blade of any bladed weapon through chakra by fifty percent (50%) of the blade's total length the first time learned; each time retrained, ten percent (10%) of the blade's total length is added.
Description: By unconsciously feeding their chakra into any bladed weapon, the user will manage to extend the length of the weapon by providing an extra extension of visible chakra. This creation will yield an extremely sharp edge that functions like the normal blade itself. By seeing only the user's bladed weaponry, the opponent may miss the Hien and misjudge how far they need to move to avoid an incoming strike. As a result, even if they manage to avoid the metal portion of the blade, the chakra portion may cut into them as well.

Description: The basis behind the majority of Ototon techniques lie in the user's ability to control the very sound waves around them. 'Sound Dominion' is just as its name implies, a fundamental supplementary jutsu of Ototon nature that allows the user to intermingle their chakra with that of nature, harmonizing the two in order to create complete control over all sound around them. Once this link is achieved, the door is opened for greater creations to be made.

Description: A very straight forward and offensive technique, scream allows the user to attack multiple targets at once with a powerful, almost deafening scream. Causes both physical and neurological pain, inducing nausea, temporary dizziness, and difficulty with balance. While screaming, the user must remain in place. Highest rank known determines knock-back range and how long the effects of the user's scream last upon it's victims.

Description: Isseppaku is quite a powerful technique created by the masters of the Sound Element, allowing advanced control over their vocal distribution. Upon completing the necessary handseals, the user collects chakra within their vocal cords, allowing the pressure to build. Once enough chakra is sustained, the user screams forth in a specific direction, releasing pressurized sound waves to blast into the distance, knocking any unfortunate beings within the technique's range off their feet and thrown meters behind. The size of the sound wave is a mere meter-by-meter diameter.

Description: Though powerful, Raiton can become uncontrollable even in the hands of the experienced, forcing its users to focus first on controlling their power in small areas, and then, over time, expanding. Special: Pierces through barriers 'A' rank and below, and instantly paralyzes the victim's body upon impact for the remainder of the turn it was used, presuming the strike doesn't kill the victim.
Description: One of the rare techniques within the shinobi world involving both shape and nature manipulation, Chidori is a Raiton based ninjutsu developed for the purpose of ensured assassination purposes. Activating the body to focus chakra to the hand, the user's hand become enveloped by an electrical force. This force is their chakra altered in nature to an electrical current. By altering the shape of the force, similar to an electrical discharge, they can decide the power and range of the attack. After concentrating all the chakra into the arm, the user rushes forward in order to use the power of the thrust from the chakra to pierce any object with the extended forearm. Due to the high speed, the force emits a sound like a thousand birds chirping which gave the technique its name.

Chidori Nagashi (Thousand Birds Current)

Special: Extends a Chidori current at half the user's maximum 'Karai Shin' range. This technique is capable of paralyzing multiple opponents simultaneously (up to a maximum of three) for one full turn. Despite being raiton based, this technique is somewhat slower than the rest, making it relatively easy to evade it (more so due to the fact it simply covers the ground. This technique can also be applied to a weapon in order to dramatically increase its cutting strength.
Description: The first variation of Chidori involves the displacement of the concentrated electrical currents all across the user's surroundings. Instead of merely focusing the electrical force to a specific point on their body, the user is now able to extend it outside of their body in general and through objects which they are holding. This allows the user to create a protective zone of electricity around their perimeter, which can shock and immobilize their foes, presumably by attacking their nervous system. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defence. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves", making its muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives damage. Best of all, this attack can also be channelled through the ground to increase the range of the attack.

Chidori Eisou (Thousand Birds Sharp Spear)

Special: Range and speed of chidori blade's deliverance is equal to the user's maximum 'Karai Shin' level. On top of this, it, retains all Chidori cutting properties, and paralysis the victim as long as they are being stabbed by the chidori spear.
Description: The second variation of Chidori involves a similar extension of the original charge, but this time, in a more concentrated, linear fashion. On a whim the user is able to shape their Raiton Chakra to form an extending spear of pure lightning, aiming to pierce whatever it is they are aiming at. The best part? This spear takes on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the lightning sword to strike its target with ease. Finally, this variation is similar to Chidori Nagashi in that it causes the target to go numb from the excessive electrical charge.

Chidori Senbon (Thousand Birds Needles)

Special: Range and speed of chidori senbon deliverance is equal to the user's maximum 'Karai Shin' level. This technique produces ten (10) senbon roughly six (6) inches long, which retain all Chidori cutting properties.
Description: The final Chidori variation is, as its name implies, a fully projectile version of the lightning discharge. Once the user summons their Chidori, they are able to further shape the elemental nature to form small, sharp senbon. Sized like normal senbon, these needles take on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through most anything which stands in its path, and shock everything in its wake. Finally, upon impact, each senbon lets loose the full electrical potential encased within on their target.

Raikiri (Lightning's Edge)

Special: The more refined and powerful version of Chidori, Raikiri pierces through barriers of s-rank and below. Presuming the strike is not fatal, this technique paralyzes the opponent for a full two turns. Each time retrained, bonus 'S' ranked damage is stacked onto the attack. On top of this, once learned all Chidori sub-jutsu can be performed under the power of Raikiri.
Description: Though little has changed in execution, the power of Chidori is now increased even further, no longer able to be withstood by normal means. The penetrative power of the Chidori is increased tremendously, but so too is the chakra cost and the toll it takes on the body.

Sousagatakoushi no Jutsu (Thunder Storm Technique)

Special: Summons a powerful thunder storm that emits thick, blasting bolts capable of tearing through even the strongest of earth. Distance at which the user can summon the storm, as well as the diameter of the laser storm blast depend on the user's highest 'Karai Shin' rank, halved. Requires the user to hold a single handseal and be still while charging and moving the bolt. This can be held as long as the user's chakra is willing to pay for it, but once turned off, there's a delay of one turn needed before the storm can be summoned again.
Description: After the necessary handseals are created, a strong thunderstorm descends from the skies, darkening the clouds and inciting a cold air about. Quickly after, a powerful thick lightning bolt descends in the form of a straight, constant flowing thunder beam. Light blue in nature, its radius spans in a circular, spherical pattern, and its constant output can destroy even the hardest of surfaces. The user guides the bolt whilst holding the a single seal, and must keep eye contact at all times with whatever it is they wish to target.

Summons a powerful thunder storm that can destroy a massive area, steadily delivering powerful Raiton blasts until nothing remains. Total range of blast is calculated by adding the total range of all four user's 'Laser Storm' range, and quadrupling it. Due to the ridiculous chakra toll, this can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Raiton • Limelight is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Lightning Element. Regarded as one of the ultimate Raiton jutsu, Limelight is created through the simultaneous Raiton manipulation of several shinobi at once. To begin, each ninja will take their place in one of the four cardinal directions. The ninja will then activate the jutsu, sending Raiton from their location over the center of the target. When all four lightning arcs converge, they combine to rain down massive destruction on the area directly underneath. The jutsu is rumored to be powerful enough to totally turn a village below into ash, though some of that is peer-to-peer exaggeration. The jutsu requires all four ninja to activate; if one of the users is taken out, the technique will fail.

Description: A basic yet effective Raiton technique, the user focuses a bit of chakra all over their body, letting the lightning gather and then quickly exploding, effectively providing a blinding light that leaves all within the range blind. Useful for disorientation and quick get-aways.

Description: Meant more as a reactionary technique than a main avenue of offense, this jutsu allows the user to essentially shoot out small lightning bolts from a free hand to anyone within a small range. This requires no seals to conjure, and can be shot out from one’s appendage during the most heated of combat. The damage is light and the bolts shoot off in a relatively straight line, at rapid speeds.

Ichiren Inazuma (Chain of Lightning)

Special: Range of chain depends on the user's 'Kirai Shin'. By default, you can strike up to one opponent with this, plus one more each time retrained. However, after every third retraining, the consumption will go up by one. Once struck, victim’s will be paralyzed and stuck in the chain until the user stops using it. User must keep outstretched arm and be still as they feed the chain Raiton chakra.
Description: An advanced version of ‘Shooting Thunder,' the Chain of Lightning allows the user to pass strong currents of lightning from victim to victim within a thirty meter radius. The user outstretches their hands, so that the energy focusing within is displaced rapidly towards their target. Once they are hit, the victims are paralyzed and helpless, and the bolt then proceeds to jump and hit anyone else within range. Excellent when outnumbered, though one must use it with care, for it takes a great toll on the user’s chakra pool.

Raiton Bunshin no Jutsu (Shocking Clone Technique)

Description: With this technique, the Raiton user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of lightning, this clone retains the user's movement speed and strength. While easily capable of being use for offensive means, the Raiton Bunshin also makes for an equally solid defense due to its ability to harness Raiton-based techniques.

Description: Although Utage shares a name similarity with Kiba, it’s a far unique and different in many ways. The most notable is that the lightning for this technique travels underground. Once the user makes the appropriate seals, they mold a concentrated amount of chakra at their weapon tip or their fists, and quickly strike the ground with it. Whomever they targeted will soon be victim of a quick traveling electrical surge from below, invisible only until it arrives at its target. It emerges from below them, surprisingly fast so that it shocks the victim whole.

Purasubīkon (Plus Beacon)

Special: Lasts for the entire thread, or until the user dies or leaves. When used in battle with a comrade who has activated the ´Mainasubīkon (Minus Beacon)´, all projectile-based, Raiton ninjutsu will increase in damage by one tier. Only works with projectile-based, Raiton ninjutsu equal to the highest rank known, at the cost of doubling its chakra consumption. This ability cannot be stacked.
Description: After forming a connection with their Raiton element on a subconscious level, the user will now be able to unlock the hidden potential they have with electricity during battle. The potential of ´Plus´, or positive electrons, is most typically used in conjunction with its counterpart, to charge each other´s ability and create amplified versions of their Raiton ninjutsu.

Doton Ryouuken (Earth Dominion)

Special: Establishes the area of earth a user can control for their earthen techniques, including the ability to sense what comes in contact with it. Because Doton is a solid essence with physical mass, its creations deal more with strength and endurance of the earth; as such, each earthen creation from the user will have have a natural, built-in defense against any attacks equally ranked or lower. Highest rank known also establishes the size of Doton creations they can produce, as well as the amount of time it takes for the user to detect any form of contact with their Doton creations, as well as natural earth. Keep in mind detection occurs only when foreign contact occurs WHILE the user is also in direction contact with the earth, natural or self-made.

Description: This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock, allowing them to create a circular whirlpool of earthen death for their opponent’s to enjoy. When the ninja forms the needed handseals and slams their palm to the ground, surrounding rock around their victims will begin to churn and twist up crushing all those trapped within it.

Description: Doton • Arijigoku is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Earth Element. After forming the needed hand seals, the user will create a conical crater below their opponent that serves to suck in an opponent. Description: A very basic earth technique, it allows the user to dive underground almost instantaneously so that they remain hidden from view in order to ambush their opponent. As long as the opponent is walking across the earth, they will be aware of their presence, and can wait patiently (without fear of asphyxiation!) until they right time, where they will emerge and latch onto the opponent’s legs. From here, they can easily suck them down, executing a replacement with them so that the opponent is buried underground up to his neck, while the user emerges unharmed above ground.

Description: One of the rare techniques within the shinobi world involving both shape and nature manipulation, Chidori is a Raiton based ninjutsu developed for the purpose of ensured assassination purposes. Activating the body to focus chakra to the hand, the user's hand become enveloped by an electrical force. This force is their chakra altered in nature to an electrical current. By altering the shape of the force, similar to an electrical discharge, they can decide the power and range of the attack. After concentrating all the chakra into the arm, the user rushes forward in order to use the power of the thrust from the chakra to pierce any object with the extended forearm. Due to the high speed, the force emits a sound like a thousand birds chirping which gave the technique its name.

This technique is capable of paralyzing multiple opponents simultaneously (up to a maximum of three) for one full turn. Despite being raiton based, this technique is somewhat slower than the rest, making it relatively easy to evade it (more so due to the fact it simply covers the ground. This technique can also be applied to a weapon in order to dramatically increase its cutting strength.
Description: The first variation of Chidori involves the displacement of the concentrated electrical currents all across the user's surroundings. Instead of merely focusing the electrical force to a specific point on their body, the user is now able to extend it outside of their body in general and through objects which they are holding. This allows the user to create a protective zone of electricity around their perimeter, which can shock and immobilize their foes, presumably by attacking their nervous system. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defence. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves", making its muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives damage. Best of all, this attack can also be channelled through the ground to increase the range of the attack.

Description: The second variation of Chidori involves a similar extension of the original charge, but this time, in a more concentrated, linear fashion. On a whim the user is able to shape their Raiton Chakra to form an extending spear of pure lightning, aiming to pierce whatever it is they are aiming at. The best part? This spear takes on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the lightning sword to strike its target with ease. Finally, this variation is similar to Chidori Nagashi in that it causes the target to go numb from the excessive electrical charge.

Description: The final Chidori variation is, as its name implies, a fully projectile version of the lightning discharge. Once the user summons their Chidori, they are able to further shape the elemental nature to form small, sharp senbon. Sized like normal senbon, these needles take on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through most anything which stands in its path, and shock everything in its wake. Finally, upon impact, each senbon lets loose the full electrical potential encased within on their target.

Description: After the necessary handseals are created, a strong thunderstorm descends from the skies, darkening the clouds and inciting a cold air about. Quickly after, a powerful thick lightning bolt descends in the form of a straight, constant flowing thunder beam. Light blue in nature, its radius spans in a circular, spherical pattern, and its constant output can destroy even the hardest of surfaces. The user guides the bolt whilst holding the a single seal, and must keep eye contact at all times with whatever it is they wish to target.

Description: Raiton • Limelight is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Lightning Element. Regarded as one of the ultimate Raiton jutsu, Limelight is created through the simultaneous Raiton manipulation of several shinobi at once. To begin, each ninja will take their place in one of the four cardinal directions. The ninja will then activate the jutsu, sending Raiton from their location over the center of the target. When all four lightning arcs converge, they combine to rain down massive destruction on the area directly underneath. The jutsu is rumored to be powerful enough to totally turn a village below into ash, though some of that is peer-to-peer exaggeration. The jutsu requires all four ninja to activate; if one of the users is taken out, the technique will fail.

Description: Although Utage shares a name similarity with Kiba, it’s a far unique and different in many ways. The most notable is that the lightning for this technique travels underground. Whomever they targeted will soon be victim of a quick traveling electrical surge from below, invisible only until it arrives at its target. Description: Doton • Arijigoku is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Earth Element. After forming the needed hand seals, the user will create a conical crater below their opponent that serves to suck in an opponent. If trapped, this twisting, sinking pit will pull the target below ground to imprison and suffocate them.

Description: Doton • Ganban Kyuu is a Ninjutsu utilzing the Earth Element. After forming the needed hand seals, the user will generate plates of rock which will rise from around their target, entomb and then crush them. The better they get with this technique, the quicker they can crush their targets.

Special: User cannot move while underground, but they can detect anyone that walks along the earth directly above them. User can remain underground for a single turn before needing to resurface. Can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: A very basic earth technique, it allows the user to dive underground almost instantaneously so that they remain hidden from view in order to ambush their opponent. As long as the opponent is walking across the earth, they will be aware of their presence, and can wait patiently (without fear of asphyxiation!) until they right time, where they will emerge and latch onto the opponent’s legs. From here, they can easily suck them down, executing a replacement with them so that the opponent is buried underground up to his neck, while the user emerges unharmed above ground.

Dochuu Eigyo (Underground Fish Projection)

Description: An upgrade to Shinjuu Zanshu, this underground variation grants the user movement whilst underground. Additionally, they can also emerge from below with their weapons drawn, allowing them to attack without being seen. After a few short seals, the user merely sinks below, and can remain there for a small amount of time.

Moguragakure no Jutsu (Mole Hiding Technique)

Special: Range of movement depends on the user’s level of 'Doton Ryouuken'. All doton jutsu used whilst underground cost one rank less than normal due to the overwhelming earth source. User can remain underground for a single turn before needing to resurface; each time retrained, the user main remain underground for one extra turn. However, every three times trained the chakra consumption raises by one.
Description: An upgrade to Dochuu Eigyo, this underground variation grants the user movement AND the ability to attack with jutsu whilst underground. After a few short seals, the user merely sinks below, and can remain there for a small amount of time, allowing them an extremely strategic position, as well as the ability to laid explosives along the ground for the opponent to ‘enjoy’.

Description: After forming the needed handseals, the user draws from their chakra reserves while concurrently slamming their palms into the ground. Tremors of earth settle in as two extraordinarily large walls of earth begin to lift and separate themselves from the earth at both sides of the victim. The walls then converge onto each other, smashing whoever and whatever lies in-between them.

Doton - Suiraitei no Jutsu (Earth Torpedo Technique)

Special: Range of torpedoes depends on the user's highest 'Doton Ryouuken' rank. As long as the last seal of the jutsu is held and the user stands still, they can control the torpedo to go anywhere they wish, as long as its within the 'Doton Ryouuken' range. Up to 1 torpedo can be made, plus 1 more each time retrained. The torpedo travels at fast speed underground, and will automatically detonate at the end of the round it was summoned if not used by then. Torpedo explosion range is 5 meters, spreading chakra, energy, and earth shards everywhere.
Description: Using their earth release, the user creates one or more torpedoes filled with chakra. Forming handseals, little rocks filled with chakra will be shot through the ground, seeking a target. They are able to control these rocks as they travel through the earth, and can force them to explode on demand via a small surge of chakra.
