Kaito stands at a decent five foot, eight inches which for his age and clan is a decent height. Eventually he will grow to end up somewhere in the six foot to six five range. He weighs one hundred and fifty nine pounds of toned muscle adorned by minor scratches and scars. As per his Sumi clan heritage Kaito has fairly white skin and dark hair. His hair is usually kept short and messy, hanging in his eyes but not farther than that. The boy has steel gray eyes, usually kept in slits as he most always can be seen squinting for a better view, or fully closed from smiling.

Kaito prefers not to speak, letting his actions and art speak for him, though he’s not a mute. He isn’t opposed to talking, but hates people that constantly yammer on and never shut up. Only when explaining something or giving his two cents on an important matter does the boy actually speak more than a sentence or two, otherwise his speech is dimmed down to a sentence or a few words at a time.

Generally Kaito is a calm and collected individual. There isn’t anything that can make the kid raise his voice or change temperaments simply because it’s a waste of energy and due in part to him hating to waste energy. Even in the most critical of situations and in the face of danger he is able to keep a level head because he knows panicking won’t do anything but worsen the situation. It is from this level of tranquility that the artist has developed a high degree of patience, able to wait years at a time for a single moment.

Approaching Kaito is a simple matter, for the ninja is rather friendly and easygoing. He’d never turn someone away, unless it was someone whom he couldn’t possibly stand in which case he’d just do his best to annoy them. One thing that many hate about Kaito is that even in a serious situation he’s able to keep a smile on his face as if it was the most relaxed of times. The only times he truly gets serious is when there’s a fight that requires every ounce of his abilities and can’t be helped to be anything but serious, but any other time the ninja is joyful and somewhat quiet.

Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction.

Note: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.

After spilling ink on an opponent, the user forms a single hand seal, causing the ink to temporarily stain an object. Because it contains the users unique chakra signature, other shinobi cannot duplicate the stain even through cloning techniques. This allows the user to mark certain objects and distinguish them from others. Likewise, it also gives a sensor ninja something to target specifically (for shinobi who can erase their own, personal signatures and turn invisible).

Note: This ink remains in play for the duration of the thread. Furthermore, this requires a full bottle of ink to accomplish.


Sumi Bunshin no Jutsu (Ink Clone Technique)

The clone will revert to ink if either it is struck or the user is rendered unconscious.

Note: This clone must stay within twenty meters of the user. Despite its extended range, these clones must be created within three meters of the user.

Choujuu Giga is a Ninjutsu that utilizes ink. After drawing out what they want with ink and performing the necessary hand seals, the user is able to make their creation spring to life, obeying their will. This is mainly used for creating animals, but can be used to create tools as well. It cannot be used while raining.

Note: The user may create up to twenty small creations (such as mice, sparrows, fish); or fifteen small creatures (hawk, hare, etc); or ten medium creatures (lions, wolves, horses, etc); or five large creations (elephant or larger); or two giant, enormous creatures up to ten meters tall and five meters wide per cast.

The user cannot draw and summon another creature until all the creatures of their previous cast have been destroyed. These creations can travel a maximum distance of sixty meters from their creator.

The total amount of fireball demon heads that can be created at once is ten.

Note: Being hit by a flame individually will only cause regular burn damage like any other fire. However if all lantern heads are used to converge at the opponent at once, the flame and explosion is comparable to an exploding note at double the power.

To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, as they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Once the swordsman has understood the basics of fortification, they move on to more complex defensive patterns.

Commencing from any position, the practitioner draws their sword and moves to deflect or simply block the strike, then resheathes. As the user becomes more proficient in Iaijutsu, more strikes can be defending against in a fluid movement, before they are overwhelmed by the attacks.

Note: This technique serves as a counter against multi-strike based techniques. A maximum of three techniques can be parried per use at an incredibly fast, almost "simultaneous" rate. It should be noted that these parries must be plausible, and simply because a user can defend relatively quick does not mean the are immune to being struck. As state, this will be widely considered as a multi-strike counter.

Commencing from any position, the practitioner proceeds to unsheathe their blade and quickly strike against an incoming physical attack. But, instead of simply blocking it, the user will instead use the opponents momentum against them, which in turn forces them off balance and leaves them vulnerable to a strike afterwards. While off balance, the opponent will be unable to perform actions involving high amounts of dexterity, due to the surprise of being knocked off center.

Note:Once parried, the opponent is left off balance and unable to find their footing for half a turn.
