NPC Overseer Garin Natsuki
Garin had served in the Raikage's tower since the era of the new age Shodaime Raikage. Only in his late twenties, the sterling young man had seen Kumogakure no Sato through devastating attacks, drastic changes in government, and fruitful years of prosperity. So when his veteran employer-- the Nidaime Raikage-- vanished, he was one of the first people to have scheduled and organized a search party. He'd served under Atlas Burabiya's command loyally for nearly a decade, after all, and felt that he owed the man much more than he could ever repay. After a year and a half of nothing, however...
The funds for the search parties had run dry. The death of the Sandaime Raikage, and the election of a new candidate, had inadvertently caused the people of Kumogakure no Sato to abandon any thoughts about finding their Nidaime alive. And as much as Garin hated doing so, he felt it was time to throw in the towel. Like many of his people, he mourned the loss of Eiichiro with great pain. And this pain, paired beside the hopelessness of ever finding Atlas Burabiya alive, got him thinking about finally retiring. Maybe purchasing a plot of land to farm in the countryside. But before he did, he had one last task to complete. His final favor to Atlas Burabiya
Now that the Nidaime Raikage was officially presumed dead by the sole proctor spearheading the movement to find him, it was time to hand over the man's inheritances to those applicable. Most of Atlas' belongings, however, had already been divided amongst the few family members he had. All that remained was a key, in a letter, marked with Yukiko Fuyumori's name and address. It had been overlooked by Garin months ago, but only because it had been stashed within one of the Nidaime's books, and had not resurfaced until his people had cleaned out Atlas' office in the Raikage tower. Garin had held on to it, expecting to find his employer at any moment, but would now hand it over."Yukiko Fuyumori..."
He murmured, as he paced down the streets of Kumogakure no Sato with the letter and key in hand. He followed the address until, finally, he'd reached the home of the one he was looking for. What sort of relationship this woman had with the Nidaime, he had no idea. But he hoped that the letter (and the key within it) would give her some form of closure to the legacy of Atlas Burabiya. So, garbed in a dark blue robe with a high collar, Garin would knock twice on her door. When it opened, he'd give a courteous bow. "Greetings. My name is Garin Natsuki, head overseer of the Raikage's search and rescue division. Are you... Yukiko Fuyumori?"
